Unfortunately people tend to react a lot more to bad news than good news.  Well good news could raise the price, a little good news wouldn't raise the price as much as a little bad news could lower the price.

safe bets like the top 100 coins/tokens could net you a little profit over time but to have the chance of crazy profit you need to invest into small new coins.  At the same time these new coins are extremely risky and you will most likely lose money.  If you dont mind taking the risk for profit go for that.

Dogecoin was mostly created as a joke which is one of the main reasons it wont hit $1.  Another major problem is the circulating supply. Currently the supply is 114,128,784,576 DOGE which means if that a doge coin was $1 the market cap would be $114,128,784,576 or $114 billion., which is only a little under bitcoins current market cap.

I agree its very unpredictable right now.  I have held Dash for a while through the ups and downs and idk maybe i just wanna see it succeed.

Agreed.  People think they are smart enough to sneak these things in and tbh it tends to works.  Never heard of the cybermiles coin and dont plan on looking into it. Every new alt coin has "incredible new tech you gotta check out and support".    This is getting old.

Bitcoin is too established and known to be overtaken by most coins especially one im just hearing about now(cybermiles).  For all i know it could be way better than bitcoin but at the same time its a few years too late.

I agree.  I think that the top 15 coins have the most cement in the marketplace as they are the most known to the general public.  It will be interesting to see what coins hold those spots in the next few months. Besides the top3 i can see a lot changing.

Out of the top 12 coins on coinmarketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/), what do you see changing.  
I personally think Dash will rise back up to the 5 or 6 spot since i believe its severely undervalued.
I also believe Stellar will fall from the top12 because in my opinion it does not deserve to be up there.

I know im not alone but im a little worried about the btc price decrease. Im still gonna keep holding but im wondering what everyone is thinking about this and whether a price jump is possible to the near future.

My biggest fear is what is currently happening which is the rapidly declining price of bitcoin and just seeing my money slowly decrease. However, I am very hopeful for the future of bitcoin and will continue to hold.

When did you get into bitcoin and how much did you have at that point?

I personally got into bitcoin in april 2014 and had 0.25 btc which i sold 2 months later and greatly regret.

For those of you familiar with Wax Tokens what are some of your opinions on it.  For those of you who don't Wax Tokens were created by OPSKins (an online gaming marketplace). There main use is be used on their site to buy ingame items and skins for pc games.  Currently and for a while now Opskins has not being accepting Wax token deposits on their site.  I personally am concerned because of this and the fact that the price of the token has dropped significantly and not recovered much.

They program all that stuff in the coding.  Research online how to create a cryptocurrency.  Following a set of directions online its fairly easy to make a coin, but it will fail im telling you now.  The rare ICO that does not fail usually has new technology and principles behind it along with a known team of people or company.  Even with all that stuff they still have a high failure rate.
