Just (another) warning for anyone who has an email address in the Bitmain database:

Again there's a scam email being sent to everyone in the Bitmain database about the S11

The subject will probably be something like "Limited Time Offer Antminer S11-1"

Remember, Bitmain's user database was stolen (yeah not unexpected from a company who shipped miners for years, after I warned them about what they'd done wrong, with enforced completely open API access to the world) and the data thief knows your name and email and probably other things about you.

Sadly summertime is here and my little 741 is feeling the heat. Been on this pool with my single Avalon since Sept. 2017, now I must take it offline. It's been rock solid since coming online and no sense in burning it up. A moment of silence for my 7.3TH going away.  

Anyone here want to adopt it and keep it on the pool? Watch the Marketplace.

It's been fun. I may get something else in the Fall and rejoin the pool. Until then, I bid you all adieu.

Guys sorry but I don't have anyone to recruit,when the first T9+ plus arrived they called me 3 times at customs to explain them what these machines are,I tried to explain them that they were flux capasitors for my time machine but they didn't believe me!

It starts mining at 13.5th but after a few min one of the boards drops
I crossed the ribbons to c if its a faulty board or main board cant think of names atm but had to go work so wont know now tfor 12h
So stuck at mining at 9th for now 😢

I swapped psu because i thought it might had been a psu problem but its not
Just swapped the ribbons around that connect the boards to the main board c if that makes a diffrance

Done a few times also changed psu as i thought maybe psu was faulty

A quick note to users from Russia:
You may experience issues accessing kano.is (the website itself). Perhaps, Russian authorities banned the IP subnet where the site is located. Use proxy / VPN in order to access the web site. Mining works fine without any VPNs, so it's only the web site that is affected (so far).


To those wondering what it is all about: Russian authorities are recently trying to ban the use of Telegram messenger. According to existing regulations, they are banning IP addresses used by the messenger. Since Telegram doesn't use a set of permanent IP addresses, this results in blocking of literally millions of different IPs over the last week or two. Many services like Google and AWS have had problems because of that. There's a way to unblock to addresses, but it takes days and requires IP owner to officially request unblocking. Funny thing is that the Telegram itself still works fine (most of the time), no matter what. There's even a joke circulating locally that after the ban of Telegram, all the services stopped working in Russia, except for the Telegram itself.


Kano, do you know if you have any serious traffic from Russia? It may be worth to consider establishing a local pool mirror (in order to be 100% sure it doesn't get banned).
