Okay. Bitmain has added some s9i's in the mix now.
I ordered a 13 th/s model and as you can see once you apply the coupon.....well, it was hard to pass up. The 13.5 model was slightly more, but I don't feel it's a big enough difference.

I have a $400 coupon left over and I don't know that I want to spend BTC on anymore miners and wont' have enough BCH for another purchase.....so, I'm willing to trade this coupon for $100 in BTC.

Nothing happens until something moves.

MINE ON WITH KANO........except DPoS2

Any ideas? Changed psu
Recently changed fan

Kernal isnt showing any problems
Need the 4th back up and running
Obv mining on kano.is but posted in a sub category on this website
try to reboot the miner
Done a few times also changed psu as i thought maybe psu was faulty

Re-set to factory settings and if that doesn't fix it, upgrade the firmware.

Yep, try this first.
updated firmware even tho i had upto day firmware no change
It starts mining at 13.5th but after a few min one of the boards drops
I crossed the ribbons to c if its a faulty board or main board cant think of names atm but had to go work so wont know now tfor 12h
So stuck at mining at 9th for now 😢

So stuck at mining at 9th for now 😢

Two good things:
1) You're still hashing, and
2) the 5Nd means this won't hurt too badly. if at all.  Wink

When the S7 was down a board, all I could think of, or do, was

Mine on!!!

Did you re-set to factory settings first before updating firmware? I have had this issue with 2 miners in the past and have managed to fix it by resetting to factory, letting it run for a couple of hours and then upgrading the firmware. In that order.

Y know, ya'all had best continue this support query in the thread started in the support section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3712806.0
I rather expect Kano will be removing these as very OT... That and the fact that being in the support area makes it easier for folks to find info on these HW support issues.
