1  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Bitcoin difficulty eventually linear growth? on: January 04, 2014, 05:40:05 AM
Even if a 1TH/s miner was produced every minute the difficulty would only increase about 212M per day. If we assume an exponential growth rate of 20% per difficulty change, the increase in hash rate would exceed the production rate of miners in early June. The growth in difficulty will become linear.

Could this be the IceDrill? http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1Nbq2XZaRsKknf5fcT2wTXvBS31PaUWSeX

HF can determine whatever exchange rate they want. There's no way you'll win in court unless they promised you, specifically, full BTC refunds.

The user just added another 40TH/s.
5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Server Power Supply Interface Board - for standalone miners and GPU rigs on: December 28, 2013, 08:24:09 PM
Can you make one for supermicro power supplies too? I'd be willing to buy a ton of them if they were supermicro compatible.
Something like this  http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SuperMicro-CSE-PT823-PD5i2-2U-Power-Supply-Backplane-/220979395258 except made with PCI-E connectors in mind.

That "update" was a fake update written by a forum member, and not HashFast.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 28, 2013, 04:09:36 AM
They have fixed the power consumption since that test, at least that's what I was told when I called them yesterday.

What makes you think that they will be using so much power? 422*.65*1.2=330W is the nominal power usage with 20% added on in case there is a bad die.

Do you think this could be HF too? http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/1D5FhoiuLMJJ43BCMGidwvbKWfr71g1vH9

iCEBREAKER hasn't been active since Christmas. Also, he has posted in this thread.

We should also ask why their puppet pointed us to that eligius address in the first moment, it's in fact a strange address that is growing a lot - their goal is to have us to lose time, money and strenght over something useless, like the emails or if they are mining with our hardware or not.
How many times must I tell you, I'm not their puppet.
15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast customer e-mail leak on: December 28, 2013, 01:19:07 AM
How perfect is it that this email was sent on a Friday, right before they close for 2 days?
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 28, 2013, 12:30:40 AM
I wonder how long it will take them to realize their mistake.
17  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 28, 2013, 12:00:24 AM
Can someone with the email verify if it is CAN-SPAM complaint?
18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Icebreaker - Hashfast Employee? on: December 27, 2013, 11:50:52 PM
Maybe they had the boards, then during testing they found that they were unstable.
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 27, 2013, 11:21:24 PM
And now they violate their privacy policy. https://hashfast.com/privacy-policy/
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: December 27, 2013, 11:14:24 PM
Well that explains the eligius mining. They are probably using those rev1 modules.
