1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of ICO? on: October 02, 2018, 09:34:13 PM
We think the future of ICOs aren't in jeapordy, I've seen a lot of discussion on here about that fact. Because they are such a good way to raise money and a great way to market your brand, I think companies will continue using the ICO format. Although funding for projects within our industry has gotten easier and some companies don't even end up needing ICOs, we plan on going with the ICO format.

The answer to this is simple:

DO YOUR RESEARCH!

Read the whitepaper

Ask the team about the project

If anything seems fishy, DON'T INVEST.

We strongly suggests doing your fair share of research before entering the market. For starters, look for an exchange that provides security and liquidity first and foremost. Look for exchanges that have a lot of public exposure, ie. Binance or Coinbase. Then find one that meets your user interface needs. Finding a platform that you are comfortable trading on is very important to feeling confident with your money. Take some time to research different currencies also. We are going through a bear market but there is a lot of hype around a big bull run in the future. If you want an exchange that provides these things stay tuned for our platform Bitbloq.io!

We want to rival major exchanges in the future and have a great team working on making investing in crypto easy for people just like you! Good luck and make some money!

We personally believe that the ICO format won't go away for a while. Yes, bounty programs have the same type of functionality when it comes to driving revenue and hype around a project but the ICO in itself is another marketing tool that I think most companies will keep taking advantage of. We at Bitbloq will be hosting a bounty program along with an official ICO. Stay Tuned.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What attracts you to a good crypto exchange? on: September 17, 2018, 07:09:01 PM
We like to rank the attributes like this:

1. Liquidity
2. Support
3. User Friendly UI
4. Portfolio Analytics
5. Social Aspect

We also saw the thread about using an .io domain rather than the .com, we went with .io because we thought we weould appeal more to tech savvy people. Would you guys agree with these rankings?
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Reputable ICO Grading Site? on: September 17, 2018, 12:16:53 AM
Some of our team members like ICObench. As we mentioned, we want to be rated by a company that is fair and one that holds the trust of the community. What are your thoughts on ICObench or others?

Bitbloq aims to bring a fully functional next generation platform to the current cryptocurrency scene. Powered by the BLOQ token, Bitbloq will host an exchange, universal wallet integration, an app marketplace, and much more. Please let our team know anything the current market lacks that we can look to integrate before our debut!
