Paid $130 shipped for an open box 6870 earlier today; you'd be insane to pay OP's prices unless he tosses in a decent reach-around. Jus' Sayin'.
The guy who sold his 6870 for $130 is a fool.  He could have easily gotten $150+ on ebay.

OH shit!  I read this 5 minutes ago and I'm still laughing LOLOLOL

http://cgi.ebay.com/HIS-RADEON-HD-6870-1GB-MEM-/120740929365?pt=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&hash=item1c1cb85f55

130$ with 20 hours left and 10 bids.   plus $15 shipping.  So total cost is currently $145.

Minus ebay and paypal fees, and its not like he gets to pocket the shipping money so more like $110 in his pocket.

You're adorable you know that?  I like you Smiley

Wow, so much hate!  If you don't like his prices, send him an offer, don't QQ like a child (unless you are one)!   Roll Eyes

OP, your prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other selling-for-btc posts I've seen here recently.  [...] but the 5850's a great deal
because paying retail for a used card is a "good deal"
It's not retail if you can't find it for sale in a retail establishment at said price.

I can find anything he listed, used or maybe even new, for a lower price.  Some items easily $60-$80 lower. . . .

Don't talk about the value of the 5850 and 5870 for mining. . . buying cards, to mine with the intention of them paying themselves off is. . . well, how about you buy them and find out LOL.

Bro, you are so full of shit it's laughable. Please post me ONE link of a 5850 or 5870 that is for sale at NORMAL price let alone 60-80$ cheaper.  And there is no retail stores in Hawaii that carry them, I checked.

Yes, and there are no retail stores in Alaska that carry them either, who fucking cares?

Besides, I'm just trying to help people not get ripped off by some jackass trying to pull a quick one.  I sold all my mining gear about 6 days ago now, because I knew all the slow kids would be trying to in the next week.

There's only about 5 items you're selling below new price, 0 at a reasonable price.

You must be pretty new to the internet if you think the 6870 is your only overpriced item.

And believe me, i'd leave if I could, wasn't my choice to come here.  This is the most disgusting state I've ever lived in.  The whole island of oahu is pretty similar to colfax street in denver.  Google it.

Those prices are ridiculous, especially for used hardware... Jus' saying.

Heh.  For 1 month used video cards?   99% of other people are marking UP their cards.  Mine are sticker value from NewEgg.  So, fuck off.  Jus' saying.

Not to mention who knows what the fuck is going to happen with BTC value once Mt. Gox reopens.

Why would anyone mark up their cards?  Is supply really getting that bad? Except for the 6990 I can get any of these from a couple of places.  Waterblocks et. al I'd obviously have to order.  If things are that bad in the boondocks then I hope ATI buys Satoshi something nice for Christmas because he has obviously delivered them some unexpected demand.

$0.26/KWh!! - crap on a cracker! Man that is rough.   Is that the residential rate? I'm less than a third of that.

Where you been?  Almost impossible to find 5830s, 5850s, and 5870s.    Anyways, not every card is at cost.  The 6950, 6970s are discounted.   I might lower the 6870 but probably not.  It has more value then just mining.  I'll more then likely just ebay them as people expect a lower price here because they aren't as fast miners.

Kylesaisgone was offering 130$ for a 6870 in another post which is just plain ridiculous.

And the power is residential rates.

A brand new 6870 on newegg is $185 with a $20 MIR and 2 free games

Or $175 if you dont want to deal with rebate hassle.

You're asking beyond NEW prices on nearly all of that hardware.

I'm on oahu myself and sold a 6870 locally in 4 hours with craigslist for $170.  Youre going to sit on that card for months easily over $30?  Your choice I suppose.

You say who knows what will happen to bitcoin after the next jump?  Mining for profit will die, you're not even offering to ship item immediately because you KNOW this is the last 2 days of reasonable mining.  Even if BTC tripled in price overnight tomorrow I still wouldn't mine because it STILL wouldn't be as profitable as it was ~ 20 days ago.  I started mining at 430k diff and $28 a coin. . . who the fuck will pay a premium for mining cards at $15 a coin and 1.4m diff?

Your arrogance and ignorance is just adding to the reasons I hate this god-forsaken state. . . Can't wait to get out of hawaii!
8  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [~3000 Gh/s Mining Pool] HTTPS,API, instant payouts,LP,+1% for NO INVALID BLOCKS on: June 17, 2011, 05:49:34 AM
There was a DDoS attempt at this moment.

Recent connection issues and increased stales percentage were not caused by DDoS.

I really don't understand what anyone has to gain from these attacks.  They don't bother me at all, they don't affect my mining income more than 1-3% a week, they don't lower the power of deepbit.  Heck still hovering close to 50% some days.

Why does anyone waste their time?  Silly kids these days.
9  Other / Obsolete (selling) / Re: eve accounts pack. on: June 16, 2011, 08:39:44 AM
selling of characters is quite within tou for eve, despite that. please post only if you have a question with regard to the sale. or a bid.

You mean to say, selling of characters for in game isk, is within the 'tos'.  Nowhere in the terms of service does it say you can exchange eve characters or accounts for ANYTHING other than in game currency.

What are you talking about?  Veldy is 100% right.  People spamming the same questions over and over again is seriously irritating.  They could look back 5+ pages and have answers to all their questions.  You should maybe talk to Theymos about removing your mod rights.

I see nothing that would explain a nearly 12 hour delay.

Same issue here. I withdrew 0.39 BTC 4.5 hours ago. Still it says "No such transaction". Sad

All you new people, will you PLEASE read through the forums ... use the search function.  The answer to why this happens, how long it can take, issues going on right now, "No such transaction" are all there.  They don't need to be answered over and over again.  Just search before you post.

I even posted a "search" message yesterday and you guys didn't see that either which means no attempt to look at even recent posts to check for problems or answers.

Ive been conducting transactions on the forums all day, and through mt. gox all day, everything as quick as ever.  Except my deepbit withdrawal.

I deposited a few coins in MT. Gox without an issue 30 minutes ago.

5 post requirement just encourages someone to spam here and there to get their 5 posts.

I'd really like to make a post on the deepbit thread asking why I haven't seen the bitcoins I tried to withdraw from my account there even after waiting 4 hours, instead, I am here. . . spamming.
