Yes....after a while its not easy to follow everything....especially in my case, when I come back here after some days. I just read about this announcement which should come from the cultural places team in this days....any news which came through or is it still a secret? Cant wait to hear/read it Smiley Did they tell on telegram when they will announce it exactly? Wanna stay informed about the process.

Seemingly the first announcement was about a Croatian art exhibition -

https://www.culturalplaces.com/blog/exclusive-news-cultural-places-creating-multimedia-tour-for-this-years-ht-award-exhibition/

- and the CEO of Cultural Places wrote yesterday on Telegram, that new partnerships are going to be unveiled during the next few weeks - including Indonesia and maybe also Germany and Austria...^^
Sounds intriguing...thanks for the info for the telegram chat, seems it's pretty active and there are constant updates Smiley

Hey, I'd like to see the video, but cannot find it. What is it about? And when are we expecting the next announcement?

Hey Smiley i have answered the question in the post just above your own...you can look it up over here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3080625.msg34617759#msg34617759

Funny coincidence...just a few hours ago, one of the moderators once again confirmed on the telegram channel, that a new announcement is going to drop in a few days. ^^
Ooops, sorry, the thread is getting kind of long Cheesy But that's good right, people are obviously interested. I am curious about the new announcement and will follow up on this. Thanks!

Haha, no problem, i am surprised myself how many other people are commenting too but i guess the potential is quite visible in this case. Wink Guess quite many have also been part of the bounty program - topic number one right now at the telegram channel besides the announcement. ^^
Yep, I can imagine and there is enough time before the second phase ends, the discount is still pretty generous, they reached many and are about to reach many more, like you said - the potential is visible.

Can you give me your telegram?

I have read that several times before and am quite curious why crypto currencies are so often connected with Telegram channels...did they kind of advertise in the scene or are there special services the messenger does offer? Just curious. Smiley

Not really sure how it started but i assume the mixture of security measurements - as i said, your phone number is going to be invisible for others - useful bots for moderation and FAQ purposes and the inclusion of little gimmicks like crypto-specific sticker smileys is quite popular and holds the community together. Wink

Btw...are there going to be new announcements soon? The little video series about the asia trip of Cultural Places was nice and i am interested in the results to come. Smiley

The idea of selling and distributing tickets for various events through a platform based on the blockchain seems to me quite interesting and really necessary in our world. After all, it is really convenient and fast, and even it turns out cheaper.
But is this really necessary? I've seen quite a few different services and platforms that give organizers the opportunity. Is it really so necessary to realize this on the technology of blockchain?
Well the blockchain is a very secure way of payment and a very cheap one, too. If you have a look at the issues in this industry when it comes to ticketing, the fees of the intermediaries, the frauds etc., it is actually logical to implement a cryptocurrency in a platform like that, it can offer many possibilities and make the process secure.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO] Cultural Places - Revolutionizing the Tourism Industry [ANN][ICO] on: April 07, 2018, 07:10:35 AM
I was thinking today about the fact, that also in the European Union there are a lot of countries like Denmark, Sweden, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland... that doesn't have the Euro till now and that offer very interesting sights... Payings tickets etc with the App and the Cultural Coins surely would be easier. So also here in Europe there is a great potential in my opinion.

Yes you are right. Neither Croatia, Bosnia or Serbia have the Euro (Bosnia and Serbia in fact are not in the EU) and there are already sightseeings in this countries which have an agreement with Cultural Places as I have seen on they App.

Haha, tell me about it. Changing money in a foreign country can often be quite a challenge, especially 1) to find trading machines which are not trying to defraud you/don't include an additional, personal fee and 2) being able to get exactly the right amount of money to get through until you leave the country, which usually leaves you either with way too much "useless" bills or the need to be really tight with your expenses. Another great way blochain services could help us all. Wink
That's a good point. I thought about rock festivals and other concerts I've been to and some of them were in those countries, so besides everything else, blockchain is a great way to buy tickets abroad, thinking about other countries, too here, not just the european ones.

In my opinion it's safer to utilize the blockchain technology and I know that a lot of people still prefer not using credit cards for purchasing with the smartphone. And the Cultural Coin has its system, so in my opinion it’s a better solution.

I absolutely agree with you, besides the simple fact, that credit card fees usually are more costly and credit card data is way easier to manipulate/"steal" than blockchain-based services.
I think that blockchain-based services will have interesting future developments, but one more thing should be considered - in order to implement it in an industry you need a very serious long-term strategy and an expert team behind it.

You have already answered this question. But I will say from myself that this is a unique way to realize this in a convenient, safe and beneficial way for users. This will reduce the cost of tickets and make the purchase more convenient and safe.

There are obviously issues in this area that needed to be addressed, especially concerning ticketing and I think they are trying to actively solve the problem by using a secure and transparent technology - blockchain. If you think about it, it is actually logical to implement a cryptocurrency like the Cultural Coin and it will for sure have a huge impact in the long run. It could change the whole industry and provide users with a totally different type of experience in cultural tourism.
I guess in the next years a lot of things will change because of the blockachain technology. Because you don't necessarily have to pay fees to your bank or to ticketing agencies. That's the reason why not only travellers can benefit from Cultural Coins but everyone who is interested in cultural belongings. I could imagine that in longterm you also can pay not only concert ticktets with CCs but also tickets for sports events?
I am guessing that would be the next logical step, won't it? I can imagine being able to pay for different kinds of services/products/tickets etc with the Cultural Coin. Let us see how the project will develop, I am really curious and will for sure follow up on it.

Projects in the cultural sphere will always be difficult to develop. I read that the company
is preparing interesting bonuses for users. Cashback and bonuses for purchases are
very interesting and will add popularity. Own cryptocurrency will increase the speed
of the system. Waiting for updates because I want to look at some first developments and try.
I think that with the right strategy and a team of experts one can develop such interesting projects with global effects on the industry and you have already pointed out that the developers have many ideas how to motivate and engage users and reward loyalty and participation.

It's very nice to see that such projects appear. That the issue of culture excites people and they are ready to work in this direction and create really interesting products. It is very cool!
Yes, this is a really good trend. Blockchain projects penetrate our lives and occupy all spheres. I hope this will really be useful.
I agree with both of you. I think the blockchain technology in this case is a very good way to secure both ticketing and funding and make the processes more transparent and it definitely has a future. A powerful concept.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO] Cultural Places - Revolutionizing the Tourism Industry [ANN][ICO] on: March 18, 2018, 08:00:28 PM
This is a very cool platform ! Finally you will need to go on different sites first to find the hotel, then tickets, and then find attractions etc all in one place !
and as I understand it, there will be its own currency ?
Yes, the basis of the platform is its own cryptocurrency -
Cultural Coin based on the blockchain technology. This redefines and simplifies the financing of culture, sponsorship and ticket sales.
The purchase is carried out in any currency: PTS, ETH, Cultural Coin, etc
There is a huge potential to optimize the process of ticket financing and crowdfunding in terms of pricing, fees, fraud, control, trust, transparency, communication and marketing;
 It is the only platform to date that achieves these goals;
1% of the user cost on cultural sites (e.g., from ticket sales and shops) will be transferred to the user in our loyalty program as its own cryptocurrency Coins Cultural - Cultural Places. Therefore, users will gather cultural coins like a fast program for travelers, for later use, reducing prize tickets by donating cultural projects or buying content based on location. The reward for the loyalty program will be directly transferred to the wallet "Cultural places" of users in the "Cultural coins".
I like that the providers participating in Cultural Places can all benefit from the use of the Cultural Coin. Also I think that it is good, that there is more time for the ICO. The great concept is just spreading and it's good if anyone interested has enough time to get all the informations needed to invest in CCs.
Sorry, didn't quite understand you there, do you mean more time like in general that you think that they've foreseen more time or did something change?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO] Cultural Places - Revolutionizing the Tourism Industry [ANN][ICO] on: March 18, 2018, 07:55:34 PM
Really very serious people invest in the project. And the number of investors is quite large. It can be concluded that the project is quite promising and has high hopes.
I think such respected people support the sphere of art and try to help such ambitious projects in every possible way. To introduce more people to a culture that's very noble.
I think it's also very nice that people who like to travel and are interested in culture do not only benefit from the whole concept of the project and all its advantages, that were mentioned, but also because they get the opportunity to support whichever cause or project they are personally interested in and that involvement gives the sense of a community which is working for a common goal.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO] Cultural Places - Revolutionizing the Tourism Industry [ANN][ICO] on: March 14, 2018, 05:25:42 PM
It is very commendable that the project will not only provide convenient and useful functionality, but also help organize and organize various cultural events, this is a very important step!
What exactly do you mean? I do not understand Huh
I'm saying that this platform will help organizers of various cultural events in terms of funding. As well as the advertising plan, since the platform will cover a large audience of interested users, then advertising will be effective.
It's really impressive. And how exactly will this be realized? I mean exactly the help in financing of some cultural events and objects?

Hey Modus thanks for your question.

There won't only be Crypto Ticketing there will also be Crypto Funding. As we are a platform everyone can make a profile and post his idea and why he needs money. The community then can help funding the project.

Anyone? So any artist/museum/gallery etc. can present their idea and invite people to finance their project? Could maybe tell us something more or should we expect updates and more information in future? I am just interested how it looks on the other side, not for the visitors and users, but for artists or partnering institutions...
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO] Cultural Places - Revolutionizing the Tourism Industry [ANN][ICO] on: March 14, 2018, 05:18:10 PM
It seems to me CEO is very proud of this project as he speaks. I completely understand that. This is such exceptional project. Once execution is achieved, this concept will go all over the world.
I found the video very convincing and inspiring, too. You can see that the team behind the project really believes in it and put a lot of thought and effort into making a powerful concept, that gives the sense of community and can be beneficial for all participants.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO] Cultural Places - Revolutionizing the Tourism Industry [ANN][ICO] on: March 14, 2018, 05:08:41 PM
Never seen a project regarding tourism, I'm sure it will be a game changer. With low fees it will be good Smiley
Do you travel a lot? I think most of the travellers appreciate if they have to spend as few money as possible during their trips. If you are careful with your money, you can see more of the world, visit more museums...
Another aspect is that you get to choose and support a project, an artist or a place, that you like and think should be developed or deserves support. I like that part, too.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🔥🔥[ANN][ICO] Cultural Places - Revolutionizing the Tourism Industry [ANN][ICO] on: March 13, 2018, 05:54:44 PM
there are also a lot of tempting programs, such as a bounty program, a loyalty program, an opportunity program (about 1% of which was mentioned above), as well as the curriculum and solidarity program for the project for Crowdfunding! I don't even know what to choose. I need time.
besides proposals and programs, I would also like to clarify that for strategic investors who support the vision and want to finance marketing activities, there is also a business proposal. for its details it is enough to contact the developers.
Is there anything about it in the whitepaper?
