1  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC Scam on: March 02, 2020, 02:57:04 AM
I have faced such a problem that HitBTC support does not accept my documents. They say they have been altered, although the documents are original. Constantly reply in the letter in one text and do not facilitate assistance. I want everyone to know what SCAM HitBTC!

Hello there!
Our team is always ready to help, but we're waiting for your reply in the ticket 508818 since Wednesday. Sorry if our security measures took you by surprise.
Please let us know in the ticket if anything's unclear and we'll be glad to clarify this for you!
2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: December 27, 2019, 12:34:05 AM
The situation is complicated further by the fact that the user is trying to claim an account that's been involved in suspicious activities in the past.

OK - you stated it - the user is possibly scamming.

You should provide evidence to back this up, otherwise - besides violating any privacy policy you may have ,you look like you are scamming funds.

The thing is, he's trying to claim ownership of an already existing account while writing us from a different email address. We cannot meet him halfway in terms of security and everything we requested is vital.
Sorry if that wasn't clear from our previous replies.
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: December 23, 2019, 04:47:28 AM
And another "lucky client" of HitBTC who thinks about suicide.
HitBTC have blocked the user's funds (about 160,000 USD) and do not want to return them, although the client has already provided them all requested documents:

Let us start by sharing the good news with those concerned about the user: he is alive and well. Our team is constantly in touch with him in the ticket.

All we're trying to do is establish whether he's the real owner of the account. We're always willing to cooperate and it is always in our best interest for a user to pass the verification process without any delays.
Unfortunately for both parties, the data provided by Vasiliy is partial at best. The situation is complicated further by the fact that the user is trying to claim an account that's been involved in suspicious activities in the past.

Thank you all for your interest in the case.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: HITBTC withdrawal fees on: December 14, 2019, 11:39:35 PM
Thank you all for your feedback! We're always open to constructive criticism and appreciate you sharing your unfiltered and honest opinion.

The flat fees stay the same regardless of the amount the user's trying to withdraw - we're sorry that doesn't work for you.
We understand that users that need to regularly withdraw smaller amounts of crypto might find it an inconvenience.

By the way, we do not have a deposit fee that was mentioned earlier in this thread.

All of the relevant withdrawal fees can always be found in the 'account' section of the platform: https://hitbtc.com/account
5  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: HitBTC scam! on: December 09, 2019, 11:49:41 PM
Definitely a scam. Have been dealing with a Daniella Wagner for 21 days. Have provided everything asked for with exception of a wallet that I made some deposits from over 2 years ago because I no longer use or have access to those apps, however I AM logging in from same IP address and am communicating from them via the same protonmail address I used initially, and they are denying that I am, outright. Also, it's about $400.00 USD worth, was about $500 21 days ago, and they're demanding government ID when they never asked for this initially or when I made a deposit.

Dear JMPT, can you please provide us with a ticket number? We need it to find your case in the system, thanks in advance!

Can you please provide us with a ticket number? We need it to find your account in the system. Thanks in advance!

In this exchange I lost my 0.07 BTC in just 3 days after depositing it

Have you contacted the support team regarding the issue? What's your ticket number? Please let us know, thanks!
7  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: November 15, 2019, 12:10:40 PM
One of the shittiest exchanges in existence irrespective of the fact that isn't has lasted over 6 years, my account keeps getting logged into even after I have activated 2FA and changed my password several times, thankfully I didn't keep any funds in the exchange at the time, once had an issue with withdrawals and up till today, it has not bee resolved.

Dear Drai, it's close to impossible to log in once you've activated the 2FA. If that's really the case, we encourage you to contact the support team as quickly as possible. You can contact them regarding the withdrawal issues as well. You can do so right here: https://support.hitbtc.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

They keep delisting good coins and then charge a huge amount of the coins to withdraw the ones you have left.  That is theft, pure and simple.

They've delisted Bytecoin, AMP, Noah (41 Million market cap), etc.

There may be many reasons for such a turn of events. You can contact our support team for more information on any asset in particular to get relevant information.

I so much detest this exchange,  their customer service is nothing to write home about,  I misplaced my cellphone around May this year and I discovered that my account details with Hibtc has been compromised,  they didn't respond on time,  I just had to forget about having an account with them,

Dear user,  what was your support ticket number? We'll gladly look into that.

We take the security of our customers very seriously and provide a number of security tools to help you protect your account, such as 2FA, email confirmation, etc.  Here's an article to help you minimize such risks in the future: https://support.hitbtc.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005044629-How-to-protect-your-account-from-intruders

I already did this on Twitter and you replied that the problem has been resolved, but this is not true.

Dear Rabbot, the withdrawal functionality of your account is fully operational, and you should be able to withdraw any amount of funds that exceed the withdrawal fee.

Wasn’t believing this until they locked my account for the third time last week leaving my funds being locked. And that time no new reply to any support tickets whoever they are assigned to ! They locked 200Zcash worthing over $25,000 at that time without the ability to sell and of course, now they worth far much less (and which I still can’t withdraw).

The KYC process shouldn't take much time on a regular basis, ytrezq. Can you please provide us with your ticket number?  Thanks in advance.
10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: October 11, 2019, 12:03:18 PM
Since September 19, your support from time to time sends me new reasons why you stole my 15 bucks.

Could you please provide us with a ticket number? Thanks in advance.

How am I then supposed to withdraw my tokens from your exchange? I got 471 CCT tokens which have a withdrawal fee of 707 tokens and these tokens are not even trading on your exchange anymore. I also have FLP which require 915 tokens as a withdrawal fee. These fee are not only ridiculous but a punishment of me depositing on your exchange. The network never requires you to have 10k tokens so that cannot be your excuse for setting such a high fee. You are discouraging users by setting such a high limit.

Dear erikalui, our team adjusts the withdrawal fees according to the market conditions. 707 CCT tokens are worth less than 2 USD at the current moment. Please keep in mind that HitBTC has always had a flat withdrawal fee structure that doesn’t depend on the number of funds withdrawn.

This is the first time you post here since 27th August 2019 and claim you will look in to every case but you answer NO complaints here.

We can assure you our support team is always willing to help and provides traders with timely replies in tickets.
If users would like us to provide them with follow-ups here in this thread as well, we need them to share their relevant ticket numbers: this way, we'll be able to find their case in the system.
12  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: October 10, 2019, 12:35:05 PM
We're sorry that our withdrawal fee structure doesn't work for some of the users. It is worth mentioning, though, that our fees are flat and do not depend on the number of funds you're trying to withdraw. Withdrawal fees are being adjusted according to the market situation.

Why as soon as I login on the exchange I get a message asking for a deposit? Why do some pairs have extra zeros? Why does the exchange lag on a fairly new smartphone? And I’m not even asking why such high withdrawal fees, I want to ask: why is this exchange "The most advanced"?
Some of the pairs have different lot sizes to allow trading in a smaller size. This was made as a part of our effort to keep them in-line with market standards by popular demand, you can find more information on that here:
https://blog.hitbtc.com/hitbtc-is-updating-its-lot-size/
We're sorry you experience poor performance on your device. You can reach out to the support team right here anytime: https://support.hitbtc.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

Noone should use this exchange. Last year they stolen 9 bitcoin from me worth $92000 I sent all papers, bank account, notorized paper , they even ask me  to send documents of the person that sell me bitcoin.
Could you please provide us with your ticket number? We need it to find your case in the system.

The rest of the users that experienced any issues while trading with us are welcome to share their ticket numbers as well, we promise to look into each and every case.

Hi guys, I am sorry we were not active in this thread.
I won't be able to reply to all of your messages from the beginning, but I'll do my best to follow up from now on.  We do care about our customers and their security, but I am really not sure how can I prove it to you. What I can do is ask my colleagues to take a look at your tickets, case by case. In my experience, all of them are resolved after all the information has been provided.
Let me check what is missing for each of your cases and how can we fix it together. Please let me know your tickets numbers and I will reply one by one.

Many people forecast it is not long before HitBTC and Tradesatoshi steal on mass and shut down.

Our exchange is among the oldest in existence and is operating since 2013. We have never lost a satoshi of our traders' funds - we have to take the risk of our security measures being temporarily uncomfortable, because safety, security, and integrity are our top priorities.

False. Many users report giving all the requested data and still not receiving their money.

Besides, the KYC/AML procedure is invoked for even the smallest of amounts, like $50. This is not a practice focused on security. It's simply scamming, stalling and as mentioned above, possibly even identity theft.

HitBTC has never even tried to prove the IDs/documents are secured and the KYC requests are in any meaningful way justified. It's clear from all the complaints that a lot of users were directly harmed by the exchange and its affiliates. HitBTC is an unscrupulous and shady exchange. Avoid it like a plague.

Security precautions taken by HitBTC in the verification process are designed to prevent international money laundering and fraudulent schemes, which is a common practice for a financial institution. Most traders have absolutely no trouble passing the KYC.

Most traders have absolutely no trouble passing the KYC once they are able to provide us with the requested data and they are always more than welcome to contact us anywhere if they have any additional questions.
We encourage our users to cooperate with our team in solving their problems by providing us with a ticket number instead of seeking outside help from people that are not affiliated with our company.
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is HitBTC scam? on: May 01, 2019, 03:07:40 PM
I have used this exchange and have not found any issue, but few people said that sometimes HitBTC ask a nonsense free while trading or withdrawing their funds. After that, I decide to stop trading my funds there, I don't want anything bad happens to me. We all need to be more careful in choosing exchanges and go away after you found a suspicious thing.
Let us know what we can do to dispel any possible doubts you might have, thanks in advance.
19  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is HitBTC scam? on: April 30, 2019, 03:04:56 PM
I suggest don't use their service because they are well-known "freezing account" without violating any terms and there is fresh news about it from here and I don't like more people to become one of another victim.

Much better to trade on other well-known exchange for safety purposes like binance.

The case in question was resolved as soon as the user started to cooperate with our Risk Department.

In the net there are many different opinions about this exchange, recently I transferred from there easily and fast tokens (about $ 300) without KYC. I totally want to get away from this exchange because I no longer trust. The fees there are very high, sometimes as high as token that you want to pay off. It will not be left to me when all tokens sell there first, then pay off everything and say goodbye to this exchange. As soon as I sell everything there, I will not trade anymore
They got high redraw rates and there is always some satoshi stuck when you move balance from trader to non trader wallets.
Coinmarketcap lists any exchange with some volume, cant relay on that.

Can you let us know which coins do you refer to in particular?
Our commissions are flat and do not depend on the number of funds withdrawn, that's why our financial team adjusts them in accordance with the market situation.
