At http: //webdollar.yo shows my balance in the wallet zero. I had more than 13,000 coins two days ago...  The protocol was updated yesterday, all addresses reset. This is normal in testing. All testnet coins will be reset eventually. |

So, nice name but your main advantage seems to be the ability to mine in pools - will the pool system be available at the Main Net release?

I mined coins yesterday all day and got a few thousand. Today there is nothing in the wallet. Do not waste your time on this.
This is normal with a test net. Time was not wasted, you contributed towards antifragilization of the protocol and you and all who are mining now will benefit at main net from a sound and secure protocol. Thanks |

In 2009 there was only one person which did belive in this system. And this is why he was able to mine those many blocks. We can also start the mining on our protocol in private and the publish on internet and those 9.9% to be mined not premined. But we want to give our community the opportunity to have equal chances from the begining and with those 9.9% we will help the WebDollar ecosystem to growth for all those hundreds of miners we already have in our testnet daily and for their trust and support in our project. If you're accusing WebDollar being a scam just ask yourself why we didn't any ICO? It would be easy to do a scam with ICO instead staying months only for developing the tech. Thank you! You initially wanted to do an ICO, but now you thought you have subtle ways of scamming people. You rebranded the pump-and-dump scheme as 'Initial Release Event'. That's how you want to differentiate from other coins? By stealing less? "But it's only 9.9%", cheap supermarket price trick. Idiots. There was no cheap supermarket trick. A precise 10% would not have allowed for an initial block reward of a round 3000, but of 2997. That is why it is 9.9%. As for "premining, therefore scam", it's a straw man. All protocols with ICO are essentially premined. And not all ICOs are scams, of course. Not even all the failed or failing ICOs are scams, some are just unfortunate or ill conceived projects. As are a huge majority of the start-ups. And accusations of stealing are of course ridiculous. |

As I understand it, the protocol was the victim of its own success. A sudden spyke in miners after the bitcointalk announcement prompted for code optimization and all the wallets are reset when this happens. It's a test net after all and it will all be reset finally before the main net. So, everybody was reset, not just you. Your inputs are helpful, so stay around and help with improvements. |

This looks like an alternative for NIMIQ, also a browser based Blockchain project.
Webdollar allready has tokens that allow Smart Contacts in jawascript and anonimity superior to bitcoin. This is a false statement. Webdollar does not have smart contracts and will never have anonimity because was not designed from the start with an anonimity goal (unlike Monero). so we all are on equal ground at the start How can this be true when the premined is 10%. Just picture this: for all the webdollars to be mined it requires 100 years, the premined is 10%. Equal ground for sure. The same amount of the premined 9.9% will be generated towards miners in the first 10.5 months from the mainnet. Can you read a chart, liar and slanderer? A considerable part of the premined will be used for marketing, bounties and financing of future tech development, such as anonymity. And you are either ignorant or lie about the smart contracts capability. Probably the later, hater. |

Why WebDollar is a shitcoin. 1. Pump-and-dump scheme The sole purpose of the webdollar cryptocurrency is to create a pump and dump scheme at the expense of the so-called 'investors'. How? Selling premined coins through their website (advertised as an exchange platform). The currency is advertised as an investment and they are creating hype ("we expect the prices to spike very fast seconds after the release" [1]). On the day of the dump (called 'Initial Release Event') the premined coins will be sold by the webdollar founders. Be aware: they advertise webdollar as an investment, but they are not registered with SEC. Selling webdollar through their website will be illegal. 3. Webdollar is centralized
Premined currencies are centralized. A small number of entities are given a percentage of the entire supply WITHOUT working for them.
This is a theft from all the future miners and users.
The premined coins can (and will) be used to manipulate the market (see pump-and-dump scheme).

My issue regarding WebDollar is huge supply 42,000,000,000 (42 Billion) Question:Is there a premine ? (I hope not)More explanation maybe... Is this it ?  The huge supply is a fine granularity that was chosen because the protocol targets mass adoption. But, it is hard capped, so it is not inflationary. It's like it already references a unit closer to satoshi than bitcoin. The good part: each 20 second block rewards miners with 3000 WebDollars. |
