@papilyn In Browser we use WebAssembly and in case it fails we use ASM.JS. Sometimes the miner uses the CPU, sometimes it uses the GPU to mine. Because we use Argon2d, WebDollar is ~ ASIC resistant  and GPU unfriendly. We use Telegram @WebDollar  Wink

This looks like a promising project. It would be a great platform for the people in the developing countries where most people live on $2 or less than $2 per day. Best of luck to the founders.

So this is a testnet, right? The coins don't actually count?
Hey! this is a test net and all the wallets will be reset at main net start. We could help dev to detect any issues during the test and also an advantage for us to test our gear. WebDollar is  ASIC resistant  and GPU unfriendly because use Argon2d. I recommend to make a tour and familiarize with the platform. is friendly and intuitive. good luck!

The users with expensive Vidoe Cards will definitely mine some significant WebDollars (you can also test it right now) using the WebDollar Web Miner or the WebDollar Node Web Miner. Because of using Argon2D which is quite similar to CryptoNight light, Video Cards will be quite expensive, and it will make more sense to use multiple cores CPU to mine WebDollars.

Sorry, but I can't understand how to use GPU  Sad

To mine using your video card, you just need to install the Node.js WebDollar and run the command for mining. The tutorial of how to install the Node-WebDollar on your machine (it works on most OS including Windows, Linux and MacOS) you can check out our GitHub Tutorial  https://github.com/WebDollar/Node-WebDollar  Smiley

Those who lives for 2 dollars and always at the same time cries, that and will always live for 2 dollars if he does nothing. That who wants - that looks for an opportunity to earn. And who lazy also does not want to work - that only looks for the reasons, bad everywhere only sees. It is a coin it is possible for them, but only it is virtual. Smiley

Your excitement fuels our hearts to work hard on this project, to do a change in the crypto world. We are so thrilled to work on this open source project, especially because we are not running any shady ICO, just like Satoshi.
