1  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: BTN Account For Sale ( broadcasthe) on: December 03, 2019, 11:14:06 AM
Hi, interested. Still available?
2  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E banned and blocked my account for inactivity? on: May 10, 2016, 11:07:11 PM
For people complaining in this thread, do you have any way to prove that you are without a doubt the account owner?
If you control the address that deposited the funds in the first place, you could send them a signed message.
Could also work with an old withdrawal address.

Then why aren't they asking for this instead of giving us impossible tasks? I have emails with withdrawal confirmations.. and yes my address is still the same unlike OP.

Edit: they unlocked it for me.
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E banned and blocked my account for inactivity? on: May 10, 2016, 08:07:08 PM
Yeah, I had the same problem OP. They're asking me to find the email stating my account was blocked and reply to it, but I never received the email. Failing that they're asking me to change my IP address back to the one I had when I signed up. Are these guys jokers or what?

I think she's just incredibly naive.

Her naivete is exemplified here: http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000253071

This is just some of the discussion that was happening in real time just before Newsweek published the story on their site. She gushes like a school girl.

If this man is not Satoshi, it would be quite simple for the real Satoshi to come out and make an anonymous statement (signed tx) that it is not him.

Seriously. Take your $10k and buy youself a crack whore for the night and make her do everything you can think of. You'll feel very very relieved the next day and never regret it for a minute. A crack whore can give you a better return for your money then the bitcoin industry.
Best advice so far. A+++ would lol again!

Just look at all that shelving - it is endless.
I can count at least 10 aisles, probably 15. They accommodate modules on both sides.
Each shelving unit seems to be: 7 floors high, 20 sections long and each section accommodates 6 modules.
So 15 units/aisles x 7 floors x 20 sections x 2 sides x 6 modules = 25,200 modules
25,200 x 167.5GH/s = 4,221,000GH/s = 4,221TH/s = 4.2PH/s

4.2PH/s = 1400 Neptunes @ 3TH/s

Why are you selling the Miners and don’t mine yourself (will you use the miners for mining yourself)? ▾
We are mining ourselves, but we believe in the bitcoin project and a diversified market is the best for all parties. We will continue to mine but we do not believe in a monopoly of miners. We will not mine with more than 5% of the hash rate we sell, and we will never mine with customer hardware.

This is like explaining isotropic vector matrix equilibrium to a monkey. Useless.

You're apparently well versed in advanced calculus, and yet you think you can beat the second law of thermodynamics with your HHO powered car bullshit?  Grin Grin Grin Grin

Plan B really was Plan A all along. How do you all feel having the privilege of funding that venture?

Look at alllllllll those Jupiter modules they refused to sell to all of us previous owners!! Shocked

Fun Facts:

Number of butthurt people who wanted refunds from BFL for 1+ year delays: 10,000

Number of people who took legal action against BFL for the delays and won: 0

Number of those butthurt people who actually lost money (in terms of USD): 0

I'm loving BlackArrow's Australian reseller, 'BitMiners'.

Trying to offload BFL 60Gh/s http://bitminers.com.au/refurbished-mining-equipment/ for $2345 AUD ($2097.13 USD).

Flogging the Prospero X-3 (the 'may batch') http://bitminers.com.au/product/product-one/ for $8847 AUD ($7911.87 USD). 25% markup (without 10% import tax/duty).

OR

Prospero X-3 purchased directly from BlackArrow and shipping 'soon,' apparently, (This product will be available on 30 Apr 2014) for $6652.30 AUD ($5949.15 USD) + 10% import duty = $7317.53 AUD ($6544.07 USD).

edit - just to be clear, the so called 'witch trials' were also arranged by 'scammers' who wanted to claim land, property and/or silence from big-mouthed 'witches' who were actually what we now refer to as whistle-blowers.

Indeed. That's why they were coined the Salem Witch Trials, not hunt(s). Emphasis on trials.

Scam-artists and greedy thieves putting innocents on trial; all for their own personal gain (wealth & lands).

I just want to reiterate the anomalies which were found between the accounts of forum member Searing, and the OP here bitcoin_uk.

I think there is a possibility they are one and the same, compiling scam after scam. likely his little 'group' have accumulated quite a nice pile of bitcoins from their fraudulent activities.

If i'm wrong, i don't give two hoots. All I know is there is a group on these forums who are collaborating elaborate fraud and the OP is one of the suspicious accounts.

Hmm.

bitcoin_uk doesn't seem to go over zealous on the use of elipsies. That seems to be the domain of behaviour exhibited from Searing, Phoenix, & AussiePete (I'm quite positive they are all the same person).  Huh

so rebecca, phoenix, maui were all in on this scam to pretty much sum it up?

just wow..

I think Rebecca is a genuine PR person, who was employed to do the press release, and as such, a victim also.

Doubtful. Just another one of their sockpuppets. Her picture is definitely some sort of stock photo which was heavily altered in photoshop to prevent anyone using a reverse image search.
17  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Australia Bitcoin on: February 06, 2014, 08:52:10 AM
i got burned on localbitcoins, $4900 worth on thursday just gone. was paid from fraudulent source so funds were frozen in my bank and is a nightmare Sad

the bank froze 38 of my bank accounts to go with it, so rather screwed me until investigation is complete from the fraud department Sad

Localbitcoins really is terrible. PayPal should not even be offered on there, period.

Was your bank transfer from within the same bank or two different banks? CBA have told me if someone were to wire me fraudulent funds that they would not be withdrawn without my consent, and I did specify it was for a BTC trade.

So I asked them.  I emailed them some questions and this is the response. I received the response from Keith Gurnett

Q3. Have you been manufacturing 28nm Miners all the time since you stopped the last batch of November Jupiters?
A3. No, we are creating the data center now for "Plan B" as a back up to be used if there are any delays with the Neptune production.

Q4. If so, have you been mining with the 28nm miners manufactured since November?
A4. We are mining, but we have not exceeded the 5% of the hash rate which has been released.

Q7. What date will you start offering to convert non-delivered Neptunes into hosted 28nm, and how much will be exchanged?
A7. Like above, if there are any delays customers will be provided with the hosted hash rate.

So... if they cessated manufacturing of 28nm jupiter modules; what exactly is powering the creation of their "World's largest" 28nm mining farm? Unicorn hashers?
If they haven't been manufacturing more 28nm jupiter modules, then just how many thousands did they hoard since the last sale in November?  Embarrassed

Tuesday morning and that evil company KnC are allowing me RMA two boards today. Oh no these people are the devil, I wonder if I get a 48hr turn around this time, witch craft I tell you......  madness
Oh, really? And on what grounds are you being granted an RMA? Dead dies? Apparently a 30% loss in hashing power (dead dies) from one of their modules doesn't warrant an RMA and I'm told to "wait for the Nov Jup tuning suite" which has been promised for months.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 04, 2014, 09:30:28 PM
that would be between 700 - 950 jupiters.

even if it was KnC

15,704,175 - 5% = 785208.75

540000 GH is not 5% of the network

Elastic, your comprehension skills seem to be lacking.

Still visible on the kncminer.com FAQ page, item #2:

We will not mine with more than 5% of the hash rate we sell

Also, you seem to be using an old statistic for the BTC network hashrate too. It's currently at 18.43 million, not 15.7 million.

So, yes. They are in fact mining with more than 5% of what they've sold.
