1  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If you're trying to breathe, you're resisting arrest, cardiac arrest that is! on: June 08, 2020, 07:56:30 AM
One thing that I noticed about both cases is that Eric Gardner was 6'5" and George Floyd was 6'6". Very big men. I don't think that's a coincidence. When an average person comes across a person that tall, they almost seem like giants and I think that contributed to the officers being so forceful. Their height, along with health problems could had contributed to all this.
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading. Made 12 BTC profit last month on: December 23, 2019, 12:18:33 AM
It has been quite a while since I last saw this thread. I wonder how it's going OP. If you're happy with your decision.

It's actually motivating me a bit to try and spend 8 hours a day focused on learning to trade.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔴World's First Membership-based Cryptocurrency Exchange🔴 on: July 07, 2019, 02:31:11 AM
How can you grantee 200% return? Is that in terms of value, or in terms of the specific currency?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sirius A New Smart Chain Freely Distributed on: July 02, 2019, 07:04:29 AM
Someone in discord said that IEO is in process. Any news about that? Thanks

Can you explain exactly what is an IEO. It's the second time I hear someone mentioning that. Isn't it similar to an ICO? But Sirius was airdropped.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit my job to do full-time crypto-trading on: June 24, 2019, 03:52:59 AM
So for this day trading, there's has to be a lot of losers who lose big, for everyone who wins big. Isn't there always the possibility of losing more than you would had made working?
Yes there is . you once said that you can earn big on trading and that winning is much more bigger than in what will you have earnt on working on your regular job outside the crypro scene but there are also a possibility that you can loose what you already earn and whats worst is that you can loose more evenly  .

I don't remember saying that. Though I do think it's a worthy risk to continue. Just worry about those who are not good at it.

What can you say? It's current technology, and if they don't have their own system, while the US does have it's own system, then they will be at a sort of disadvantage.

Such surveillance is part of the current world we live in, and nothing is going to stop it. Should they US not send up satellites that can monitor the whole world because for some it might be "morally" wrong? (as opposed to actually wrong).

Nations just have to adjust to the new reality.
8  Economy / Economics / Re: Why spend time in bitcoins? on: July 30, 2018, 10:13:49 PM
Because it gives you the potential of earning big if you make the right decisions. Imagine that potential of coming across an opportunity, versus watching another 3 movies in a row like other people do. It makes me cringe when I see people wasting their time doing useless things, just to pass time, because there are so many opportunities.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: July 26, 2018, 03:37:36 AM
It's slightly down right now at $8,192. And I just want it to freeze right there so that I can evaluate what to do. I'm overwhelmed with my focus being on real life. It's actually frustrating me.
10  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Russia charged with hacking the DNC on: July 25, 2018, 02:12:09 AM
I haven't really followed this story because you just never know the agenda behind those reporting it. That's one reason. And number two, you kind of expect these countries to try to hack into things. I'm pretty sure the US does, and at a higher scale, since they have more resource to do it.

So it's really a BS story.
11  Economy / Economics / Re: How does bitcoin become a currency? on: July 20, 2018, 01:35:55 AM
The majority of stores have to start accepting it. And people have to start using it as a payment. Like the guy who bought two pies of pizza's for 10,000 Bitcoins.  Cry
12  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do older people like investing in Gold/Silver? on: July 18, 2018, 04:56:35 PM
I think it's sort of like cultural thing. Influence of a time that we're not familiar with. For example, why do people in their late 30s early 40s like the original NES, or cartoons from the 80s? Because they were there at that time and it had an influence on them.

"You are inactive for Airdrops" means. Is there any activity missing or should I post in btc daily.

At looked at your post, you seemed to have posted enough on BTC. Probably meant that you didn't communicated enough on the Discord.

Go to Discord and ask a mod to check for you.

Edit: I also just read some of your posts, it could also be because of the quality. You mainly ask very short questions.

Like, "Is MEW supports for Airdrops", I don't think that would qualify as a legit post to the team.

Make sure you use the coin control features and change the custom address to your AD address when sending out coins to avoid the change being sent to a random address (within the wallet).

And if you think coin control is too complex/confusing, just send 0,001 PRIV to the address mentioned (without using coin control).

Then check https://explorer.privcy.io/ and you will see that your coins are no longer in your airdrop address (this is intentional, your change just moved to a new address in your wallet).

Then transfer all your PRIV back to your airdrop wallet.

To be extra safe, always check your wallet balance on https://explorer.privcy.io/ afterwards.

This has me worried. Are you saying that my coins will be sent to a different address than my AD address? What happens if my computer dies, but I have the private key? Will I lose those coins?

No, you won't.
You should also backup your wallet also, not only private keys.

Thank you. I'll just use the coin control features so that the "Change Address" is my AD address.

16  Economy / Economics / Re: New investor and prices on: July 05, 2018, 07:07:56 AM
Big money moves prices. Small speculants and investors do not affect on a price so we see trends just when big money buy or sell. It is essential to understand further actions of big investors and speculants.

I think the OP means new investor, collectively the size of the people that started buying cryptos last year. That's big money. I think that had the most effect in raising Bitcoin to an all time high.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shall I buy BTC? on: July 05, 2018, 06:45:33 AM
Hopefully you did not buy at the time. And if you did it was very little. Bitcoin was  many times the price it was a year earlier. Sad, but live and learn.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: July 04, 2018, 01:23:42 AM
How good is the NEM blockchain with respect to vision, development team and future applications?

take a look at nem.io the official webpage and the forum over there. Catapult is the next step and I would advise you to read about that. If you go back a few posts I posted the last official update from the foundation which is really worth a read too

NEM is a top 10 coin... it has original code base and innovation which is different from most other platforms
And the vision is one of the best the devs are working all the time to realize it

absolutely. It is rewritten in scratch for the second time and the proposed function address many of the problems current blockchains have.

I've been looking to invest a little in NEM. What so special about Catapult?

you can find resources here : https://nem.io/catapult/

if you compare the idea and features with the other projects you will see how interesting it is. Besides that try to recap the weekly updates and you can look for youtube videos about nem. There are daily videos with mostly everything explained

Thank you for this. In researching Nem I really like its history.

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Eth Hit 1000$?? on: June 27, 2018, 09:19:13 PM
I was comparing the Google trend of Ethereum to Bitcoin, and it basically never reached near Bitcoin lowests. So I don't know. It won't be due to mainstream support.
