I had to download the block chain today for some reason. I am now getting WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for block chain to download, or notify developers.EDITNVM . . . re-downloaded the block chain and all is well.  |

I notice above that there are parts of the instructions on how to resynchronize my wallet that are crossed out. Is it no longer necessary to use the bootstrap file to synch the wallet? I had a hard drive failure but, thankfully I had a recent backup of my wallet. I am wondering what the correct way is to get back in synch  |

FYI . . .
The mining pool at cptl.multi-pool.eu appears to be non functional. Whenever I try to connect to it, the connection fails.
Apparently I am not the only one having connection problems since there are no miners there according to the Pool Statistics.
I think it is safe to say that pool is dead.

guess i was on wrong fork block explorer says address not seen
I feel your pain . . . I was on wrong fork and mined nearly 1,000,000 coins  I wondered why I was getting block rewards that were nearly 1000 coins each. In case you are asking instead of telling about the reward, it was as result of the low difficulty as almost no one was mining on that chain the variable block reward was at its highest (0-1000). Thanks, and yes, I knew that. At the time I figured folks had just more or less given up on the coin. It's all good though. |

I feel your pain . . . I was on wrong fork and mined nearly 1,000,000 coins I wondered why I was getting block rewards that were nearly 1000 coins each. |

Has there been any more thought given to expanding the total amount of CPTL beyond 100,000,000? Someone is finally involved on the development side (and doing a good job at it) and things seem to be going well, but there have already been over 80,000,000 coins created  Jus' sayin' |

Is there any way to remove all of the transactions that were generated but not accepted by the blockchain? It would be great if these could be purged from my transaction list.  try restarting wallet. it should clear unaccepted transactions. Thanks. That looks to have worked. I was sure I had already tried that |

Lima, is there a coin limit for a single transaction?
For example, if I wanted to send someone 20,000 or 200,000 or 2,000,000 coins is there anything that limits the amount?

What are you to do if you are searching the block explorer for your wallet address and the web page replies . . .
"I'm sorry, this address has too many records to display."
There is nothing that can be done for that as that is build into the Abe code that is used for the explorer. but if that is your address Your wallet should have that address with the balance. Go to Settings>Options Click on Display Check both of the boxes on that screen. Click on OK to save the settings. Now click on the "Send Coin" Tab Now click on "inputs.." On the screen that shows up you should see all your address with their balances. OK. Thanks. I know how to get the balances, was just wondering about the explorer message. |

Hi,
First tried this as even thought you may only see one address on your "Received coins" list your wallet actually has close to 100 address already generated.
So from the "Receive Coins" tab click on "New Address" most likely the new address that would be listed is the one you are mining too.
According to the block explorer that address has mined at the time I checked.
119 Blocks and there was one 500CPTL transaction that was sent to another address.
leaving a Balance: 45490.419 CPTL
Your wallet should have that address with that balance.
Go to
Settings>Options
Click on
Display
Check both of the boxes on that screen.
Click on OK to save the settings.
Now click on the "Send Coin" Tab
Now click on "inputs.."
On the screen that show up you should see all your address with their balances.
Also check your miner as some miner let you specify what address to mine to, which could result in the issue you are having if you enter an address from another wallet.
Thanks. I didn't realize that multiple 'incoming' addresses were associated with a wallet. That explains it all a lot better now. |

Sorry if these question are to obvious.
Are your PoW block getting confirmed on your wallet?
can you see the Confirmation clock images change?
have you try searching for the Transaction ID?
I can see the pool and other PoW block being mined and minted via the explorer. Just confirmed that your blocks PoW blocks as getting confirmed.
If both your wallets are in sync with the bock explorer you should be able to see your PoW blocks as long as they are getting confirm.
If I track down the transaction details, I can find the transaction on the block explorer. Here is my wallet's transaction list. I notice the address is NOT the address listed in Receive Coins. Is that how it should be? Is there something about solo mining that I am missing? Am I mining for someone else (If so, you're welcome, whoever you are  ).  |

Can anyone explain to me why my PoW mined coins do not show up when I search my wallet address in the block explorer? My wallet says there are 44 transactions, but the block explorer only shows 4 of them - none of which are PoW mined. It only shows transactions where I sent coins from one wallet to another One of your wallet may be on the incorrect fork First find out at what block/height is the block explorer. then find out at what block/height are each of your wallets. If any of your wallest are not in sync with the block/height of the block explorer or at a height that is higher than 270,000 that will mean that the wallet is on the wrong fork. Why would my wallet, which has been OPEN and mining PoS for some time now, suddenly be Out of Synch with the network? It has been like this for several (more than 6) hours and it doesn't seem to be catching up. This has happened on two wallets on different machines? Very confusing There was an mandatory upgrade that was needed in order to stop the checkpoint to old warning and also to provide more stability to the coin. Not every one upgraded in time so the coin forked. You may be one of the ones that are on the non-official fork.
