This has been fantastic for my V64 and VII. Was getting much lower numbers with other miners. Not I am at 50 for V64 and 90 with VII.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: January 26, 2021, 04:16:45 PM
I am trying to restart the miner every 6 hours.
I used -timeout 10 (10 mins)
It shutdown the miner but does not restart it.
Other parameters are default.

Am I doing something wrong?

Has anyone tried the new Compute Drivers?
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.5 (Windows/Linux) on: June 23, 2017, 11:38:30 PM
I have HD 7950 which I know does 290 MH/s. Recently it has been doing 255 MH/s. I checked to see what the problem is and for some reason GPU Load is 85%. What could be the problem?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.3 (Windows/Linux) on: May 19, 2017, 04:46:47 PM
What should a Stock Fury X get with 9.3? Also what drivers should I use for it. I am running 16.3.2 and getting 29 H/s
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.4 (Windows/Linux) on: May 07, 2017, 03:13:29 PM
Anyone has any experience mining with Fury X? I am using with HD 7970 in one system. It works fine and for about 1-2 hours and drops for 0 Sol/s. I have 15.12 drivers installed. HD 7970 continues fine even after Fury X drops. I have tried all the suggest things posted on OP but they have not helped. Is Windows 7 a better choice or maybe even try Linux?

For Fury, it is better to use 16.3.2

Installed Windows 7 + 16.3.2. Going to see how it goes.

Does anyone know if there is a known problem running Fury X with older AMD GPUs? I can run my 4x 7950s just fine and adding the Fury X I see it on the Device Manager but once I install 16.3.2 driver I get BSOD. Most driver hang on install. I tried to install manually and still same problem. Windows installed 16.6 but Fury X would show 0 Sol/s.

I think that you are better off to just pause the mining if you want to use the GPU for gaming.  It does work to use the integrated gpu for desktop and videos if you want to keep the GPU busy though.  I have done this in the past with good success.

It's only light gaming like HoTS and Dota 2. I am fine for turning off for gaming but desktop usage is unbearable. There needs to be a intensity option just like every AMD miner for the past 5 years.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: May 02, 2017, 01:40:08 AM
can make this miner use 90% of my gpu power instead of 100%?

i would like to browse web and stuff.

You do not need to do that. We need a Intensity option. I can use my 290X for gaming and web browsing and it will adjust performance on the fly. With this miner I can't play and games and desktop is super laggy.

Windows Defender just deleted .exe. Perfect.

what settings are you guys using to get 300sol from a 7970? best I can get is 265sol using claymore 12.4.

any advice appreciated

I have a sapphire 7970 non-ghz edition that I had to modify the bios in order to unlock higher clock speeds. It is currently running at 1175 core and 1700 Memclock. I am getting about 306H/s with this settings. If you settings max out at 1545 something on the memclock you will need to reflash your bios with, I think it was the vapor-x 7970 bios. That allowed me to use higher clock settings.

That is still too low. I am at 1125/1500 and get 330 Sol/s with Reference HD 7970.

You should add an option to modify the intensity for whose who want to use their PC while mining

Yeah would like that too.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: March 19, 2017, 03:06:58 PM
Any way to control the intensity of this miner. I can not even move the mouse when the miner is running.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v12.2 (Windows/Linux) on: February 28, 2017, 02:52:48 AM
any good and stable pool for zcash expect fly pool

yes looks like flypool is back at stealing shares. The miner shows a constant 973-980 but at flypool  it only shows between 850-963. Time to move out
Maybe it's not stealing... Maybe it's Claymore's fee + flypool fee?
not talking about rewards, talking about hashrates. I even give you 2.5% for fee staled and invalid. The expected average would be 948. My average is 884. What a difference considering my average before was ~940

I get 1815 reported from my PC. I average 1745 in flypool. Thats 4% less.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's ZCash AMD GPU Miner v11.1 (Windows/Linux) on: February 12, 2017, 11:05:50 PM
We are all on "borrowed time" pretty much when it comes to mining. Our only catch at success is to sell ZEC, buy BTC and keep it and hope SEC approves the ETF and bitcoin goes to $10,000/coin.

You say that because you want to grab all the coins at a lower price because near this month zec price will go very high!

Maybe ETH or ETC, but not ZEC.

ZEC will not go very high because every month there is a large percentage of supply entering the market.

The price is at all time lows...but the market cap is at all time highs. All because of the daily supply of 7,200 ZEC coins.

So price will keep going down? Is it better to just sell. I made ~ $180 for the month of Jan and now I sit $190 for 12 days. I basically been mining to keep up with price drop.

Damn it, I find new assembler tricks every day. I want to use them all, this causes new delays again and again. All these things take too much time.
Right now I can release an update with speedup for Hawaii cards but I had no time to add new tricks to other cards, I need a couple days for that. So no update today Sad

Have you tested any new drivers? Would be nice to be able to just run the 17.x drivers across all cards to uniform rigs. Perhaps someone else here has some info statistics for 200/300/400 series cards using latest AMD Drivers? (this 15.12, 16.3 etc. driver mixing is driving me bonkers!)

I am using 17.1.2 with 290X and performance is the same as 16.11.3 and 16.8.2.

ZEC-USD price down AGAIN - $35.39

Yeah, not sure where this is going. For the past 7 days really I have been mining to offset the price drop.

any update/ new miner release?  Smiley

would be nice i am anticipating a nice speed up for tonga

And i'm waiting for a speed up on RX4xx cards or even maybe ASM Cool
Fuck ZCash, we now need  "Claymore Pascal miner." We should be oriented to profite . It is with Pascal coin much higher.

I wasted a day on that coin. Got zero blocks after dropping 3200w on it for 24h. I see some that have in the TH also get zero blocks in +24h.

this seems to be right http://whattomine.com/coins/172-pasc-pascal

Whattomine is not right, I'm making $3.70/GH on Nanopool.
2 480's is drawing 280W power for about 1.1-1.2GH.

Yeah I used Nanopool at first and then it was not matching whattomine at all. Something was off. Now I am using flypool and its spot on. Drop Nanopool.
