This is one of the most challenging years in the world of cryptocurrency since the onset of its existence, but it has proved itself for not a profit-making year rather for investment time in the world of cryptocurrency. This is the best time ever to invest in cryptocurrency. We have been experiencing bearish time since the beginning of the year and this is still ongoing. The best alternative in bearish time is to do long-term investment. The wise ones always invest in this time while the foolish ones back out from the market. Bullish time will soon take over from the bearish time. Then, the wise ones will take over the market.
There are so many ways you can invest at this bearish time; the first one is to look for good projects that have great potential to be successful and invest in them either by buying their ICO or through the bounty campaign. Secondly, you can look for good coins or tokens that are already thriving in the market before the bearish and invest in them.

In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.
Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.
I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.
Regulation will also help in curbing the possibility of using crypto to launder money and place a check and balance in ICO which will make it very difficult for scam ICOs to operate.
I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..

oh that's a topic that needs a lot of thinkng and consideration. can we be sure that what we see as a good thing the government will see in the same perspective? there was so much broken promises, so it's not easy to trust them |

i think my lesson was not to be too greedy, and also that things change and not always you can see a light ahead, sometimes it is only darkness and you have to be determined to overcome it, for better things of course |

I believe in the cryptocurrency market and believe in its huge potential. Though now and not the best times in the market. But experienced investors understand that this is only a correction of the market, which is a consequence of the significant growth of the market before! But I think that many newcomers now need support. I wish us all patience! Soon we will see a new wave of growth, there is very little!!! For those who are quite sad reminded that " those who in 2013 and 2014 believed in the basic cryptocurrency ideas and invested very little in crypto-coins, then, a few years later, became super-rich»

Hello.
Despite the fact that crypto-engaged people used to say, that crypto is "very young" technology, in fact almost 10 years past from the appearance of bitcoin, so it is not young at all. However, nothing has changed actually for these ten years. We uses to talk about crypto as a "currency", but it still doesnt work as a currency.
And i think, that this fact shows us, that the current technology is far from the appropriate one, and in the future it will become the main reason for the current coins to dissapear.
Maybe the present developers will play their role of pioneers and the future generations will consider their mistakes and make the really useful crypto. To be honest: do we really have useful crypto today? At least for something... No! Only ripple comes to my mind when i speak about usefulness, but it is centralized. (however, first right step was done)
We need crypto for something really important, not only for payments, and society needs it too. I think, that the perspective spheres for crypto projects and blockchain are: cloud storages, computing power, authenticity systems (for elections, government`s money flow).
However, unfortunately, all we have are dexes, doubtful platforms and empty promises.
However, i dont think that we should afraid of the bad outcome for the bitcoin at least, because it became the digital gold not only for enthusiasts, but for the serious people too (those who knows the history of the real gold will understand me), that`s why his price will grow in the future. (but not as much as you want)

I have been part of this community for a while now. And i never got the chance to make any investments as i was short on money. But recently i got a little money and i wanted to invest but looking at the market as it is going down and down again, i have decided to learn from you guys and take into account the advice of you people.
What should i do.

or Should i just put my money in some other industry like Real estate ?

the bad and fake news that are spreading by some people who has big interest on crypto
there is no denying that this is their doing and nothing else, who has the money and funds to do that?
im sure by now that its clear, second is the timing the the stock market also plummeting also
this is all over the news, everyone should understand that this is what really happening and panic will not only drag the price
down , but will also empty you pocket so keep calm

Wouldnt it be nice if each country in the world issues its own crypto currency just like they issue sovereign bonds and they raise funds from there to fund projects in their economies. I know Venezuela tried to do something like that, but the project was already being killed by the governments opponents before it took off. Now lets assume that didnt happen could it be a good way to create some form of sanity and confidence in the crypto world.
you know countries can't stop being at war or thretening with it, i doubt they will make this friendly move as creating crypto currency for themselves just to please the others. not that soon, at least |

I just came across a paper written by John Griffin and Amin Shams which states that the bitcoin price was being stabilized because of a coordinated price manipulation with tether.
I respect empirical studies but I don't want to believe that. Many have become millionaires because of their investments in bitcoin and other cryptos, which is what attracted even more investors as these new currencies were being adopted by many to conduct business.
I am still a bit puzzled by the results of the study.

We are 4 days from the last month of the year( December). There have been a lot of predictions of a possible bull run in December. The market prices are low right now compared to about two months ago.
