1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IEO by the Marshal Lion Group Coin - Tokenizing the non-bank loan market on: August 14, 2019, 04:18:23 PM
You have zero technical details in your whitepaper and no developers in your team, yet you are already having a presale. Your "whitepaper" is just a bunch of history & marketing. Also you apparently don't understand the difference between ICO & IEO:
Quote
A natural consequence resulting from understanding the above matters is for Marshal Lion to announce an Initial Coin Offering (IEO).

To me it looks like, you thought you can easily grab some cash without actually understanding blockchains etc. You probably thought you can hire some devs afterwards who'll create your whole ecosystem.

I'd gladly ready any technical information on your product, but I doubt you can provide them.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Will Bitcoin Be Back To $20,000 ? on: June 12, 2018, 09:56:57 PM
I see this year as a big opportunity for crypto. What we want and need is a steady and slow growth (stable value), instead of the big volatility we saw (especially) in the last few months in 2017. If cryptos have a stable value, more and more people and businesses might invest in.

Are the SAM cubes somehow protected against demolition or theft?

Yes

By cows and angry farmers? I guess I'll go check SAM cube 1 out. Cheesy

Hello, here are the links to the german ANN thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4424283.0
and the german bounty thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4424141.0

Hi Thank you . Your work has been verified.

It's not my intention to insult someone, but those translations are awful. Bribed tried to translate 1:1 and hardly changed any structure in the sentences or adjust the meaning of some words. The result is an inaccurate and bumpy thread, which is - without consulting the english ANN - not really understandable.

6  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: post quantum bitcoin? on: June 06, 2018, 06:20:25 AM
I don't know whether there is some kind of progress here but a new quantum-resistant public key algorithm could be created and added as a soft fork.

There are actually several approaches, I suppose the most promising ones are error-correcting code or lattice based code. An error-correcting code would additionally need to transmit it's "key", which can't be encrypted by it's own encryption, leaving attack possibilities open. There are already different (already aged) concepts of currencies with lattice based code, but I'm not sure, if it's possible to implement those with a soft fork.

https://arxiv.org/pdf/1203.4740.pdf "Quantum Money from Hidden Subspaces" is a wonderful example of a quantumproof concept

I doubt that any developer takes this serious. If you really had like 250M+ $ I'm pretty sure you would be able to find qualified developers everywhere. I don't understand what the purpose of your thread is, because every serious dev will ask about payment before starting to work and as I doubt your capital, there's no point.

I did not tell i will not give payment .I will give sufficiant amount for his work .If you think i have no btc or etc or another.Ok send your btc address here ,today i will donate 100 btc to this forum who will reply on my topics .I mentioned on my topics i am not active all time in this forum.By the by i am not a scammer or anything ,believe or not its your wish.

You mentioned that a single SAM cube can mine about 115 ETH and 19 BTC per year, how did you came to this numbers?

The first SAM Cubes have been equipped with mining rigs for the mining of ETH and Bitcoin. The SAM Cubes can be equipped with Asic or GPU miners, whereby a mixed model was chosen for SAM Unit 1. In the already functioning Unit 1 (4x2x2), 50 Asic miners are operated with a total capacity of 700 TH/s and several GPU rigs with a total capacity of 4000 MH/s. At this performance, currently about 115 ETH and 19 bitcoin are minted per year.

SAM Unit 1 would generate you 50*4k/2=100'000USD per Year. If you really mine 19 bitcoin per year you would better keep them yourself and sell them. It always seems fishy to me, selling something under the value it had, if you keep it for yourself  Huh

I think its been said that actual rate is 15 BTC per year, not 19.SAM team abit overestimated.

Should also be over 100k.

Well all, i just got banned from the Telegram channel after asking what the official statement from SAM is about the fact that the team behind this is the same that launched Giracoin 2 years ago, a coin that was and is under heavy critics due to it's combination of Ponzi and Pyramid scheme.

I expect this post will get deleted as well pretty soon.

Do your own due diligence people, and pay attention who you give your money.

Sergej

Dear Sergey

This Channel is not to talk about Giracoin but do you think really fhat a Company in Switzerland can run a Ponzi System and get a SRO Certificate? Its pretty easy to talk bad about Projects and call them a Ponzi, but you can be sure in Switzerland it’s impossible to run a Ponzi and absolutely sure not for 2 Years!

And now pls come Back to SAM!

Thank you
I won't judge Giracoin as I have no knowledge regarding that coin, but I want to point out, that it's really easy - not to say to easy - to get a SRO certificate in switzerland. The abbreviation SRO stands for Self Regulation Organisation, which is in fact nothing else than a legal alternative to FINMA regulation (official authority). To get the certificate you simply need to hand in some personal information and have more or less clean accounting.

The thing about Ponzi is, they usually keep running for a long time, why it shouldn't be possible to run Ponzi in switzerland is unclear for me.

the moment any of the major miners merge, they can conveniently control the direction of price and nothing anyone would be able to do about it because there wont be any regulator to forestall such move just like the case it would have been in the business world where merging of two firms is likely to cause any form of monopoly of the market they operate.

If only two merged and wanted to create a monopoly, others would also merge and create an oligopoly, in which we would most likely see Bertrand competition. Those two players would undercut eachother resulting in the exact opposite of what you described. The price would drop until one player left the competition resulting in a monopoly. Then the remaining firm would raise the price until the profit was high enough for another firm to enter this market. Because those firms most likely don't trust eachother, they won't merge together.

13  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for lawyer/consultant to open offshore company on: May 29, 2018, 09:57:34 PM
Why would you need an offshore company to share profit, sounds a bit shady   Roll Eyes

1. Select country of your desire.
2. Open a company and a bank account (no problem if everything is legal and you provide valid documents)
3. Enjoy your own Offshore Company.

If there are some illegal or barely legal aspects and you wouldn't want to provide them with your documents, it becomes a bit more complicated. But I surely won't advise you, how to do it, as long you can't explain why it needs to be an offshore company  Wink
14  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is there any regulatory committee for crypto? on: May 29, 2018, 09:46:58 PM
It's that same pattern all over again:
People cry/fight for less control but want the government to still protect them from their own greed/stupidity. Reminds me of that Family Guy Episode, where they wanted an uncontrolled city, just to reimplement taxes and the government, I'll post the Episode as soon as i found it.

Bitlicense is also a wonderful example, there are like 5 licenced companies within 4+ years  Grin

I think instead of regulations, there should be more audits (maybe paid or whatever) and reviews in order to verify legit projects (kind of swarm intelligence).
