Now getting 555hs with each of my rx550's. 1180 core 1930 memory
2gb or 4gb? What timings did you use? 2gb. They are bios modded, memory strap from somewhere on the Net (530hs) Just been playing around with different numbers that I can now access with this tool. REF 50 rfc 120 rc 56. Are a few Will upload the full timing when I'm at my pc thanks, ill try just those changes and report back.

Can you please make txt files with correct new line symbol for windows version (in teamredminer-v0.4.5-win.zip file)? It is real pain to read in std notepad )))
. just open it in word pad and it will all correct!

I would like to ask you to make the miner reboot function by default, in case one of the cards fails. Also, I want the logfile to be recorded each time in a separate file.
All of the above can and should be solved in .bat/.sh files. The miner codebase is cross platform, so "reboot" isn't really well defined. For example, do you want to run a simple "sudo reboot" under linux, or do you want to use sysfs mechanisms? What we should do is include much better examples that does exactly what you're asking for though. It's fully doable to setup a logfile name on both windows and linux. Will try to get that included in the next release! can you use? --log_file=%date%%time%Log.txt I haven't tried it yet on TRM, but used in the past on other miners. Honestly TRM has been so stable there no reason, lol!

hi, what command i have to use to restart miner if some gpu failed ?
create a batch file and name it you can use this in the file SHUTDOWN -r -t 10 watchdog="filename" as i understand it will reboot my rig, not miner ? how can i restart only trm if some gpu dies? The problem is that the driver might be in a corrupt state, and the miner can't shut down cleanly. On my own rigs, I need to reboot anyway in 99% of these cases. That said, my experience is that the win driver(s) recover somewhat better for Polaris cards. If you know you'll get a clean shutdown and always can just restart the miner, I would define a watchdog.bat file in your miner dir that (1) sleeps for 20 secs or so, (2) runs your normal startup procedure (resets clocks for all gpus, start the miner, etc). Last, you also need to add the command line arg --watchdog_script when starting the miner. The procedure when a dead GPU is detected is that the miner will both execute your watchdog script and then shut down. The 20 sec sleep in your watchdog should catch any unexpected wait times during the miner exit. sorry for not placing the correct command line argument "--watchdog_script". I was going off memory as i wrote them months ago, and was using my mobile to reply. Thank you for the 20 sec recommendation, i will update the scripts from 10 to 20.

I have a power color RX570 4gb card that just dies in after about 10 mins.... Running 1200 core with 900-1000mv and 2025 memory with 925-1000mv... setting TRM at 8+6.
Any thoughts?
Try 2000mem 8+8 or 8+7 All my 4gb cards seem to crash on 8+8 or 8+7, so been running them really well (940-975hs) on 8+6. Ironically i get over 1KH/s on all 4gb 570/80's with 6+6 and over 900 H/s on 8gb with 8+8 (Zero crashes or restarts) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fibb.co%2F17FN2xf&t=663&c=XrcKXnr1BbNHGA) I tested that, my cards hit 900 hs with 6+6 -- what core/memory are you running? Core clk 1250 Mem clk 2100 One card has core @ 1325 and one other has 1350 but that's because of the type of GPU If you have issues you have to up the core voltage alil I highly recommend tuning all cards using HW 64 info this way you can actually look at the memory errors and see if they start skyrocketing you know it's going to crash but if they're just getting a memory error slowly or not at all they should run forever I was thinking about making a guide on how to properly tune graphics cards for maximum hashrate as I did once for the 550's to get over 500Hs over a year-and-a-half ago Edit: what make and model graphics card are you using Yeah - I've been around awhile and use HWInfo to check to ensure everything is getting applied correctly and to watch for errors. Rig I tested on has (5) RX470 Shappire Mining Cards 4 GB and (1) 570 Shappire Nitro 4 GB. I run the mining cards at GPU 1200/925mv and Memory 2100/900mv, the Nitro runs at the same settings. HW Errors listed is limited/slow leak. Have you tried upping the MV on the core clock creeping slowly to 1100 if needed 1150 Max on one card I have wattage is not raise that much but I've seen maybe 5 to 8 watts Max. Also occasionally rebooting while tweaking sometimes we'll get the hashrate swear they need to be and then they'll hold on future restarts if needed

Haven't updated yet, quick question, do i have to wait for the fork, or will this switch over?[/list] I'll also like a lot to know this... Sorry, would have been nice if we’d added automatic algo switch but no, miner shutdown and restart is the way to go. Ok, thank you for the quick response! been spreading your miner all over twitter for months, even on the castxmr thread stating he will no longer be supporting the software for development #teamredminer

I can be mistaken, but it seems that FPGA work on these algorithms CNv8 this is today's algorithm for monero?
The last month, the XMR Nethash jumped by 150~MH/s. This is certainly either private CNv8 FPGA bitstreams, or some weak ASICs. I would think its the first. Definitely! though they have the flexibility to update the bitstream to "R" just like everyone else, even if it takes alittle longer they wont lag far behind!

Anyone have any ides??? try to help a friend with his home miner. Miner will mine on blockchain driver. this is on win10 x64 build 1709 or 1809 (doesnt like 1803 at all) if i load any of the more current driver ie: 18.3.4,18.5.1,18.6.1. miner just hangs when ran, it does the same with other miners. if I DDU and go back to blockchain drivers it still wont mine. I have to either reinstall windows or update windows then recover. this miner was running fine for months, its a dell inspirion 3847 turned 3gpu miner, the pc updated to 1803 and ever since no matter what i do, complete format, delete partitions, start fresh results are identical. ive mixed a matched the riser cables, pluged the gpu directly on the board, updated the bios to latest. ive never had this kind of issue where a fresh install wouldnt fix.
TIA

Did you define hashrate print interval? This prints it all 15s "-l 15"
No I did not, didnt even know there was one as the miner states it auto does it every 30s. where are the commands for this miner listed? I randomly found the watchdog cmd on page 29? Also, side note. this one a friends miner ive been trying to get running. anyone have this issue ever? Miner will mine on blockchain driver, but may display hashrate once or none at all. this is on win10 x64 build 1709 or 1809 (doesnt like 1803 at all) if i load any of the more current driver ie: 18.3.4,18.5.1,18.6.1. miner just hangs when ran, last line seen on the screen is teamredminer.exe, it does the same with other miners. if I DDU and go back to blockchain drivers it still wont mine. Also i took an image of the PC to revert back to 1709 faster, but i also downloaded the complete 1709 update 3GB file but when ran it auto skips and puts 1809, anyone know how to force an update from a microsoft direct file?

Doc, something strange happened after updating to 1.7.1. One of rigs (8xVega56) disappeared from nanopool 11 hours back like it's off, but it mines, consumes power and shows normal hashrate like it was when compiling kernels on fresh drivers. Reboot helped, rig is back online, but I doubt it couldn't occur again.
Ive had the same thing happen on a vega rig with supportXMR, though it has to be on their side as my payout stayed the same... did you payout change?

Same here epic failure for r9 280 Dual-x (compute errors, 0 h/s, red everywhere, no need to ask drivers, oc, compute, lock memory pages all ok! i have a Vega 56 rig too doing better but still 100w more for V8 than V7 and 100h/s less... ) i dont want to be disrespectful with your awesome work and support (really) but:
As you ask on your 1.7.0 release post: NO! WE DONT WANT USELESS EXTRA TUNING GADGETS to mine 10h/s more but screwing up 50% of our gpu's and all pasts benchmarks.
I mean of course if it's usefull, like very usefull i'm ok but: i MINE : CryptoNight ,CryptoNightAlloy, CryptoNightArto, CryptoNightB2N, CryptoNightFast ,CryptoNightHaven ,CryptoNightHeavy ,CryptoNightItalo , CryptoNightLiteV7, CryptoNightSaber, CryptoNightStelliteV4, CryptoNightV7, CryptoNightV8 with a profitability switcher that i coded if i need to bench (x8)²x508x48 possible settings/cards/algo on every release i'll rather to stop using a tool that will makes me spend more time to bench and set up than to mine ...
SO PLEASE YOUR PROGRAM IS GREAT!= new goodies or i dont know how do you call this (fragments, bralock, aes) and all these ****** settings which makes me pull my hairs off for 1 week to earn what: 10h/s or 0========E X I T !
very easy fix, use old version that good on r9 280 und problem solved my vega & rx rigs thank you for 1.7.0 doktor! I use minerstat switcher for this rig (this is my PC in fact...) which cannot reach old api requirements (which change on every release too).... API in SRB changed on every release? Hello ! Is it possible to set up a forcerestart windows 10 when the miner crash? Every miner crash I lost remote access (teamviewer, google remote) to the mining RIG and I need to acces physically to the rig for shutdown. if the OS crashes then you will need a smart outlet for remote control. I have all my rigs on the tplink HS110 it also has energy monitoring built in.
