3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Type of mining ? on: July 19, 2018, 10:21:34 AM
put all costs on the paper first.

1. power price  kWh  ( let says 0.13 usd kWh)
2. gpu costs...   let says nvidia gtx1070  350eur each
3. CPU + mobo + hdd + ram + PSU

put info in mining calculator like whattomine.com...  6 gtx1070 can get around 180mh/s   so with this prices its $6.5  per days,  of $4.5  with power cost  because it will draw around 700W.

so rough  around 3000USD you need to build 6x gtx1070 + mobo etc.

in best  case scenatio you will earn $1500 per year so you need like 2 years to pay out this equpement.   and this prices sis for used items, new are more more expensive.

The real deal is difficulty, ASICs for Ethash are coming so watch out

what you see in online calculators today might about to change tonight, tomorrow or in the coming days or months

Profitability is not constant in mining

of course, just saying, as for now, so best case scenario will be 2 years for return... and in real life, comfort ETA is 3 years....

is it worth, you need to see for yourself..    just to say this... i went for 2 weeks on vacation.. putting my rig off, due to unable to control it efficiently in any case of trouble,... and when i got back,, lot of things has changed... price dropped significantly... and what was profitable 2 weeks ago (lets says Equihash for nvidia, today not so much..things can change every day..), is no more profitable... so estimations are very risky.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PCIe Riser Version Differences? on: July 17, 2018, 12:17:31 PM
i have all ver009s   and have zero problems so far.  don't know ow much poser they consumes, but i like side 6 pin connector instead of front, easy to access when power comes from card.

yeah thx for your advice, i jumped straig to the b250...everything running smooth and stable now with 8 gpu...more gpu´s will follow Cheesy i´ll keep the 81btc for a small riger

hi, can you explain how you get working 7 gpu on asrock h81 r2.0.  i can get it done.

as soon as i add 7 gpu, it gets me boot loop and wont boot.  have to clear cmos to manege to restore its functionality.

tried 2 in 1 extender and 4in 1 extender... no luck so far.

i have nvidia cards 1070 available.. no AMD.

good solution, but i cant seem to get it working.

if i plug 2in 1 pcie extension bios crashes and cant eaven boot,

if i use 4 in 1 pce extension same thing. i can only remove battery to make it work again with 6 gpus..

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: if you live in the EU, watch your profit. I've already turned off my rigs. on: July 13, 2018, 11:33:33 AM
since last time, today i'm shutting down my rigs. The total profit after electricity is just about 85€ (about 100$) per month. I live by the sea, and in my mining room i have normally from 32ºC to 40ºC with a 24 hours two fan working to move and take out hot air. Air conditioning ON would destroy any profit right now.

What a disaster.

Yes, totally agree with you. not profitable, right now... if we call 100USD not profitable, but still if you need AC on, then tottaly better to turn it off.  i hope this will be better when this summer is over. if things stays the same.   lets watch for profits and make best out of it...

i like mining, its a bit a hobie for me, but not for every cost... lets be reasonable here.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [CMD] FarmWatchBot Ewbf, Claymore, Bminer, Dstm, CC, Eth, CastXMR, Phoenix on: July 11, 2018, 01:09:06 PM
no answer from developer so far... so i fix this by myself..

i have few suggestion also...

when using ethminer or CC miner console is not displayed because miner itself has no log feature implemented so console prints it into log via command, but its not necessary to do i that way. it can be done, to make console to show progress and to log everything with a small program  so progress can be shown and log can be created for BOT purposes.. just to have this info for future releases maybe..

i fix all this by myself so i have all this working.. showing console progress and longing.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin-Gold on Miningpoolhub after Hard-Fork - AutoExchange doesn't work? on: July 06, 2018, 08:54:23 AM
does withdrawal of BTG to some exchange works well or not?  what you guys do with BTG on MPH if you cant autoexchage it?  its most profitable right now, but cand to "anything" with it, just stays on wallet.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [CMD] FarmWatchBot Ewbf, Claymore, Bminer, Dstm, CC, Eth, CastXMR, Phoenix on: July 05, 2018, 05:54:42 AM
Any chance you'll be adding the new EWBF miner to the WatchBot? I tried the old EWBF WatchBot on it and it just kills the process after 5 mins or so until it reboot the system.  Here's the link to the new miner.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4466962.0

same request here...  it restarts due to log change in this new miner, now its date and timestamp at the beginning of every line...
it restarts because it doesn't find my last hashrate  time and he things its more then 15 minutes with no shares...

i manage to fix it by myself because of a hurry... but  i want to professional to look for it, there are also other things needs to be fixed.. like temperature.. sols/s  etc... basically  log reading is not compatibly now. .

@anotherwave i can send you a quick fix if you are in hurry until author fix it and check everything.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF's CUDA Zcash miner on: June 14, 2018, 12:22:32 PM

I hope there is an update for this app mining....

there is no update for quite some time now, and i been reading that developer is not working on improvement of this miner.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: EWBF 0.3.4b dev fee question on: June 14, 2018, 12:13:44 PM
And why you don't want to support devs? Are you so greedy?
They wrote software for you. Without them you would mine a shit. Show some respect FFS.

I'm looking for a devfee removal solution as well.
This is not to unsupport the developer, it is due to following screen capture which is happening almost all time in my miner.

yes, too many DevFee lines.. and it reproted from other people too... don't know what is going on... there is a review from some people who took comparison a lot  and found out that fees are not like 2%,, more like 3.9-8% so definitly not as it is written in readme

so use this solution and you are all good. its been proofed many times and its working without problems.

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash/Ethash miner for CUDA GPUs (8.0.0) on: June 13, 2018, 01:15:09 PM
just an info from me..

i used to test v6, and it has a lot rejected shares, so i stop using it,
v7 never got working, some error popup up after initialization..
v8 is ok, but i see s lot of rejected shares, didn't compare a real number with other miners but it seams big....

now been running bminer for 14h and tih has about 1.5% rejects shares against accepted shares.  thats a really big amount... i used to test dstm for some time and i guess it was like 0.99%... 0.98%   for running like 24h or so...   this miner v6 ..8...  has a large number of rejection.

didn't compare it on pool, but it can be just worse that what console says.

Is it you the same one that posted this in DSTM bitcointalk because is exactly the same wording with different numbers so it actually looks a bit suspicious. I copy paste here:

I used to test v5.5, and it has a lot of rejected shares, so I stop using dstm...
V0.6.0 never got working, some error popup up after initialization on all rigs
v0.6.1 is ok, but I see slot of rejected shares, didn't compare a real number with other miners but it seems big...

now been running DSTM for 24h and still has about 1.5-3 % rejects shares against accepted shares.  that's a really big amount...

Pretty much same message saying opposite things. What are you trying to achieve though I might be wrong but doesn’t look right, does it?

Both newbie account with 3 and 1 message...

nope this is not me, v6 work perfecly for me, v7 has some bugs and v8 work ok.

dstm i never tested in way of rejected shares, only read what console outputs and its been 0.99% accpeted. so i guess 1% reject...  so far i dont know if this is ok or not.

My mistake then, Post looked exactly similar anyway I apologise

no, problem.

anyway, has anyone compared bminer and DSTM, and EWBF lately  ...on poll side of course...  really annoying is that bminer showing 5-10% bigger hashrate  on console that is on pool ( tested and discussion made a lot but that was older versions not v8).
i' better prefer to show real thing.. so i can easily compare what is faster for my rig.   i mean i can understand that maybe at first it inflate hashrate to make people using it, but now when we all know what is it.. it will be better to fix console to real hashrate...
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [DSTM] fee remover for dstm windows & HOW to make your own on: June 13, 2018, 10:41:55 AM
well, i analyze this dstm miner to try to find some redirect scripts so far i'm half done..

as i can see, there are some DSTM fee redirecter to own wallet but not shared to public  so far..

this HazakiYoshimi redirecter is i guess ok, but then again it redirectes fee to HazakiYoshimi wallet and not what he displayes to miner wallet..
heavent realize it at first until now as i see this last info

"There's no source code because i known somebody modify wallet to their own and release."  so definitely its mining to HAZAKIs wallet.

ok so far i'm stuck at this point

2. After that you can rewrite some code to use wallet from —user switch for devfee wallet.
or how to patch binary for fully disable devfee mining, cause I don’t find asm place to change it.. meaybe someone knows, and willing to help..
or replace fee wallet every time miner use it - you only need to replace data in process memory that contain devfee address
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ DSTM ] Found a fee remover for dstm zm miner on: June 13, 2018, 10:05:27 AM
This fee remover is so fake. It only sends devfee to Cryptoguy2017. Don't be stupid, use the original suckaballs script (https://github.com/Suckaballs/Dstm-NoDevFee).
another scam
fee to https://zcash.flypool.org/miners/t1PZQ94XV25N1Ps4fGQ8iW4PAq1ueKknFAb/
i can confirm it.
't1NEpmfunewy9z5TogCvAhCuS3J8VWXoJNv' replaced to 't1PZQ94XV25N1Ps4fGQ8iW4PAq1ueKknFAb'

it seams that so far no real fee redirecter is available on public because they are all fake or if not fake ( i mean real rediraction is working, its done to "creators" wallet and not  user wallet...

noone answerd about this... but i suspect its tottaly fake, not tried yet... but i guess in a way it pops up on random forums, its promoting this stuff..it must be fake.
"has anyone tried another from  dstm   .tilda.   ws  (DSTM NO DEV FEE 0.6.1)"

this 1% fee dstm i dont see point of using that, ok, i see a point but still 1% fee goes not to DSTM but creator..so not fee remover...

probabbly he wont share how he done it... he is using it to make money but still.

so far i see EWBF redirect is only way that works ok, and really redirects all traffic...  with full speed... so question is is it better( give more hash) than lets say...  DSTM 1% from this guy up here, or HazakiYoskimi redirect, although HAZAKI redirect is not really redirect because if you follow trafic with tcpview you can see that when he shows "found dstm wallet" it sends this share somewhere else on flypool probably HazakyWallet so it is not redirecting anything to miner at all.

ok, noone helped so far about dstm fee remover, noone wants to give real fee remover ..so i tried to make my dstm with fee removed.

so far asking for help of someone knows some things and willing to share...  not saying i want all the job to get done...  i want to learn and make it myself.

ok, first needs to unpack DSTM ( zm.exe)  via UPX modified...

ok then what.. where can be found fee string ... mining.autohorize and mining.submit  is commands for submitting shares but where to find defined fee percent or something.. about fees

Hi, thanks for your feedback.
Would you please give me your log for me to detect what happens?

sure. where do you want it?

here is another 10h run...

A: 1040 - R: 18
so 1.73%

i'm tracing packets via tcpview and i see 1058 packet sent, so all good, just have to work on reject shares a little.
