1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stack sats / HODL philosophy (noob question) on: March 23, 2020, 02:06:36 PM
The whole hodl philosophy is to keep crypto and not sell in any way. Even if you think you need to do it right now, be patient.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Bitcoin Could Be The Key To World Peace on: March 20, 2020, 03:04:21 PM
Maybe not bitcoin, maybe some digital currency in the future, but yes it is possible.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is 'useless as a payment mechanism and ridiculous as a store of value on: August 15, 2018, 04:15:07 PM
Hard but true to be honest bitcoin is nothing really healthy but we are using it because the volatility and on stability of Bitcoin right now is giving us an earnings that we can have, investing.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Definition for bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater on: August 15, 2018, 04:13:02 PM
Hello folks,

I often discuss with friends and family about newspaper articles where banker, politicians and ceos give their options about the future of bitcoin.
Bankers speak mostly against bitcoin and spread FUD. People who work in the information industy often like the idea.

What do you say? Is there a definition of bitcoin fans and bitcoin hater? And how would you describe them?
In my opinion most of the people who are against cryptocurrencies are just not enough educated in this area to speak constructive and objectively but the same here that people who are familiar are often for.
5  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the end of Bitcoin ? on: August 15, 2018, 04:09:35 PM
I have seen the crypto market for last 1 year and the last 6 months are not so good for BTC and Alts.
The total market cap is going down and price of BTC is pumping and dumping again and again.
What should we do now hold or take a exit and wait for more drop ?

I don't think that it is the end of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies but I do agree that this time it's really hard for them, and it would be hard to survive. But I hope that we will survive and even more than recover.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Current cryptocurrency market situation on: August 15, 2018, 04:09:07 PM
What is your opinion on the current market situation?  2018 has not been our year. It's been quite rough for cryptocurrency prices, with the most recent slump being from June 10, the market continues to fluctuate and change. But things seem to be looking up and bitcoin has reached its peak this summer, topping $8,000.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/what-is-going-on-with-the-crypto-markets-experts-share-opinions
I'm thinking that cryptocurrency is not in the best conditions right now because all the prices are dumped so hardly that I can not remind myself the previous case like that part, when it was.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on node count for a decentralized network on: August 13, 2018, 03:26:29 PM
One of the "not laying on the surface" reasons could be that people are eventually afraid of cryptocurrency delay in the world so they would put a giant amount of money and effort to create a master node and it will be worth less in the end.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Financial Writers Predict Fiat Dollar Will Collapse and Rise Crypto on: August 13, 2018, 03:16:38 PM
The best-selling financial book writer "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" said Bitcoin would replace the US dollar, which he called "counterfeit money." In the April Sane Crypto podcast, author Robert Kiyosaki said the practice of printing more money in America was to create bubbles that would explode. "I think the dollar is toast because gold and silver and cyber currencies will take it," he said. "The US dollar is a fraud. I think we are watching the end of the dollar. "

This is so strange for me to read all those positive news about bitcoin and see how it breaks down hardly I have thought that if we will see all those years then bitcoin should rise, price should be higher.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Cryptocurrency Stand Without Bitcoin? on: August 13, 2018, 03:08:08 PM
I mean Why bitcoin? Why waste huge energy in mining. As everyone know bitcoin is useless in terms
of usability.
My question to bitcointalk users :

Is this possible that any altcoin become no 1 on coinmarketcap and bitcoin disappeare

I think this can be possible, what you think so comment below...

Even we can think about it in theory anyway I don't think that we are having a needs to do that so cryptocurrency could exist without bitcoin but it doesn't need to do that, as far as I understand.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin more worth than other cryptocurrencies that have better specs? on: August 10, 2018, 04:40:24 PM
We need to remember that bitcoin is the first and the biggest in terms of market capitalisation cryptocurrencies at the stage, so most of the people are thinking that Bitcoin is representing cryptocurrency in general.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Thailand Legalize Crypto currency on: August 10, 2018, 04:36:43 PM
While there are several nations which are passing laws against crypto world.  Thailand has entered the list of the nations which have legalized crypto currency.  Thailand is mainly dependent on tourism industry.  So I think it is wise decision on t he part of a country where major source of income is from tourism.  So it will attract more tourists to this country.
It will benefit a lot to the country and is healthy signal for the health of Bitcoin family.
It is a great example for all of us and I hope that all other countries will just see that example of Thailand and they were more likely decide to legalize it to, if Thailand will be having a positive experience doing that.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bull Market has come? on: August 08, 2018, 08:23:27 AM
Bitcoin breaks $8,000 and still increases every hour. The whole market, altcoins are also  green and solid growth. This is the best new today for crypto enthusiastic. I think that the Bull Market has come. What do you think?
No, it is not... Sad we are about to make 2 fast conclusions about that, and also I can say that if the price is 0.1 from the price of ICO and it goes up by 10% it is still bad, it is not the moon, nor it is a recovery.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: August 08, 2018, 08:20:45 AM
This number seems to be very exaggerated, so I would agree that maybe 15% and not more is a scam, but the problem is with proper definition of the word scam, which is a project developed in purpose of stealing money.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you think is best to invest in btc or Eth on: August 08, 2018, 08:14:10 AM
Am a crypto investor seeking your opinion on which of the coin i should invest in for now.
Bitcoins seems to be more trusted because all the world people are thinking and talking about bitcoin only and you can say that every country who would make a statement about their attitude towards cryptocurrency are speaking mostly about Bitcoin.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you sell 100% of your holdings when in profit or hodl? on: August 08, 2018, 08:11:09 AM
Lets take the following example. You buy BTC at 6k and it goes up to 8K. Do you sell 100% of it or do you sell 75% and keep 25% in BTC.

What are your opinions / tactics?
Actually I don't know how to answer that question yet because since I entered this market is almost every time in downtrend, so I think the prices will recover higher than it was during the ICO I would be about to sell.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does IQ greatly affect a person's success in trading? on: August 07, 2018, 02:15:18 PM
many people have high IQ but not all of them are trading.
so, my question is "Whether high IQ it will affect the accuracy of one's decision making because to do Buy and Sell required the right decision-making, extensive analysis and detailed graph reading".
I suppose that IQ is affecting everything that person is doing and in what it is involved because it is a coefficient that is affecting all the way how person is doing things, and it would be more effective if you have high.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which trading platform do you use? on: August 07, 2018, 02:12:37 PM
I like bittrex for trading between cryptos, but im missing option for trading with major currencies (usd, eur, gbp). Esspecialy last couple of days since all cryptos are dropping in price.

Which trading platform is good for beginers?

GDAX any good?

Thanks for advice
I love Binance for the comfortability and intuitive, understandable user interface. Also it has the biggest market capitalisation the widest chioce of the toxins which is traded on it, go ahead and try it.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use any indicators to predict Bitcoin price movement on: August 07, 2018, 02:12:07 PM
Hey, let me open by saying Bitcoin is not stock as I know people will respond in such. I merely use stock as an explanation point. I am in the market and real estate as well as gold. With each of these I can follow some information, though not fool proof, that can give me an idea on what a particular investment might do. I see here on this forum people actually say "think positive Bitcoin will go up". Certainly the confidence people have in btc effects it's price but staying positive is not a magic bullet. Thus far I see people's confidence, volume and news reports are the main driving points behind btc movements do you follow anymore.
I don't trust those because it is just an opinion of somebody and I cannot rely on somebody else's opinion, because this is my money it is the same as I will trust a stranger, to handle and steward my money.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Right time to buy bitcoin and altcoins ? on: August 06, 2018, 09:31:11 PM
Guys all we think the next bull run will start soon. So maybe thats right time to invest more to cryptocurrencies. Do you agree that or should we wait more ?
I think that we are deep and this div will continue for a long time, I'm not sure even that we will get off from it this year. Everything is showing up like we are losing people which can support this market, Roger Ver is our only hope in that battle.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep your coins physically secure? on: August 06, 2018, 09:25:36 PM
We're all aware of the risks of keeping our coins on online wallets and exchange wallets, but many of us still keep our coins on our own devices.

Are we keeping our devices secure? Its instinctual to not leave your fiat money wallet unattended in a public place but what about your bitcoin wallet? Are you leaving leaving the laptop you're writing your novel on the table at Starbucks when you go the bathroom? The laptop with your electrum wallet, your life savings.

Where does the line between paranoia and reasonable physical security meet?
I am using a paid antivirus, hardware wallet, encrypted messaging, generated 30 symbols passwords, (unique for all the cases).
I believe, that hackers will have a hard-time hacking me, lol.
