i use 1gh.com`s miner and right now trying to farm MAX
I can only find 1gh's cpuminer. Where is the cgminer? |

i have 100mhs at Cgminer, but it crashes oftenly, every few minutes. but hashrate)
What cgminer are you using? Would you be kind enough to post a download link? |

maxcoin --getbalance gives me Error: Cannot obtain a lock on data directory C:...Roaming\Maxcoin. MaxCoin is probably already running.
What else?
no '--'. just 'maxcoind getbalance'. This won't actually start the daemon, it will just query the instance of it that is already running. |

All I get to know is that "maxcoind anyword" get this error. Use maxcoind --getbalance.
Meanwhile this doesn't get me any info.
I had that issue for a while. I'd suggest editing your maxcoin.conf file to add all the nodes listed here http://pastebin.com/ZV52qKti . Then, once you start it, give it a couple minutes, then see if it responds. |

And its not the address that im mining on 1gh. Any ideas why, mate? Has anything been transferred to the address yet? Mine didn't show up until 1gh had transferred coins to it. What's your address? |

genesis block was 50 coin  8 coins were premined. 10 blocks at time of release
lie? And this kills the coin. Haha so it was less rare than 42 from the beginning. Makes the "Take that 42" on the OP really ironic. If you guys knew anything about making an altcoin you would know that the genesis block is (almost) never actually seen... So yes the genesis block generated 50 coins but nobody has them... the are floating in cyberspace. I pre-mined 8 coins and have given 4 of them away to other users who have contributed to the betterment of this coin... ENOUGH WITH THE BLASPHEMY! Interesting. Why is that? |

There are already >100 coins mined according to CryptoChomper. I think that would make this coin less rare than 42.
