Week from now, all issues will be fixed, crapload of coins mined, difficulty higher than Bob Marley (Happy Birthday!), about to be on major exchanges, all of us saying "WTF!!??", coins trading at ridiculous rates (all between a handful of people to establish a price) and then everyone hopping on board to get a bite of this action.  All is forgiven and forgotten.
Gotta realize that the people posting on this forum are only a fraction of the people mining and selling.

It must've been removed already. Don't use it anyway. People were complaining about there coins not showing up from the pool when they used it. It's because the guy who made it controls the addresses it gives.

Hmm I've used maxcoind getnewaddress, but when I use listaddressgroupings it only shows one address. And its not the address that im mining on 1gh. Any ideas why, mate?

Guys, can anybody post a working and most recent guide on how to get the Maxcoin wallet working? I spent 3 hours with this now and all I get is "connection timeout"

+1 You're not alone mate. I get the same error. Thanks for posting maxcoin.conf. I use the same, essentially, except for the rpcpost= where my is blank.

All I get to know is that "maxcoind anyword" produce this error. Use maxcoind --getbalance.
Meanwhile this doesn't get me any info.

Has anything been transferred to the address yet? Mine didn't show up until 1gh had transferred coins to it. What's your address?
