4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: September 29, 2018, 09:33:33 AM
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?
I doubt at this moment wherein negativity is dominating the market. Indeed, many projects are failing especially this year where big cryptos are suffering at their worst from being on top on the previous years. I do bepieve that there's still hope for recovery but there's uncertainty on when will it exactly take over the market.
Exactly! The current market situation don't gives much hope. Regulated markets might help in coming days I believe but the probability is low. 2018 is not that good for me.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: September 29, 2018, 09:26:55 AM
Its very hard to find out which ICO will be successful. There are too many scammy ones or with irrealistic projects.
I lost trust in all  Embarrassed even in ICO rating websites.
Maybe it's just because I feel as sad as markets... hope better days are coming Wink

Exactly, most of the rating sites takes some charge. Only few sites are there where we can find fair reviews but very hard to find. Yes, lets hope for better days, maybe after some regulations.

Yeah investing in the ICO is still profitable if it is worth to invest. You should have transparent roadmap and the project too.
A good team with good partners will drive the project to the great heights. So first study then invest.
You can use reviewing website for preferences.
The main problem is they change their roadmap in between  Grin. I do agree that research is required before investing but do you think that ERC-20 tokens will survive?

i believe that investing on ICOs still good if you found a good project, for now i there there is a good ico like playgame, and capital

Thank you for your suggestion but I don't think, gaming tokens are good to invest. They don't last that long, I have seen many tokens.

Yes if you invest in really good ico with quality project and experienced team coupled with on time performance and secondly you need to give them time, dont try to sell as soon as on exchange, give the team few months and then you can take profit.
I don't sell too early but it's not helping   Sad. There are good projects but its difficult to understand now a days which project will be better one. I wasn't much into ICOs or alts coins except BTC, but since last year I am involved. Also, its very difficult to identify scam  or genuie this days.

Hi mate it is still a good move to invest in ICO's but make sure it is not a scam. Check about the project and white papers also check their previous and upcoming projects then check their sites in social media which will be helpful for you. Invest in right coin to make good profit.
Hi, I have seen many ICOs promising that they will have working products but I haven't seen one. This makes me confused now had bad experience with earlier projects and the most annoying is before the unlock period of bonus the price gets dumped.

I do follow similar guidelines but seeing the current scenario it don't encourages me much.

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO PEOPLE STILL HAVE CONFIDENCE IN BITCOIN? on: September 18, 2018, 07:19:39 AM
Why are many disturbed about the  drop in the price of bitcoin  Cool. Come on guys, this is the not the time to give up on this amazing digital currency. Although this year has been a very volatile year for bitcoin, but one thing has always remained whenever this amazing digital cryptocurrency goes down, it bounces back much stronger than it was before. This is hope that keeps most crypto enthusiasts like myself who are resilient and have compelled us to develop a strong faith in this amazing cryptocurrency called bitcoin. Please this is not the time to give up on this amazing coin.  Roll Eyes
I have confidence and I am holding since 2013. I will hold until 2020 no matter what happens to the price.
12  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is it really possible to raise a venture capital? on: July 27, 2018, 05:35:02 AM
You can have private investors and the main important thing is how you deal with the b2b deal. Also, if you want to attract private investors you will need some channel through you can reach out to individuals and share the idea. You will have to be ready with your whitepaper but it should be only shared with the private investors and you will keep on changing ideas :-D
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Could Ethereum be dumped to $300? on: July 27, 2018, 04:58:25 AM
Moving down to that bottom will kill all the alts and I don't think so we will see the price. In a worse scenario, it can go down in between 350-380

15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Cryptassist - Knowledge is power on: July 17, 2018, 05:01:20 AM
Nice project! I love it anything related to tech and knowledge. There is a bounty program going on in one of the project where I have invested its host.games.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Investment in Alts vs BTC? on: July 17, 2018, 04:57:18 AM
Which coin gave you more return? Investment on Alts or ICOs or BTC? I have been holding BTC for a long time and I want to expand my portfolio. I have ETH holdings as well. I tried trading with many coins but never made of it. The reason I don't want to invest on alts is that those companies will create FOMO and make people buy and after buying you will be rekted.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Gaming token ICOs worth investing? on: July 11, 2018, 07:24:27 AM
Is gaming token worth investing? This is my second post regarding the topic, the last topic is lost. I have posted earlier about host.games ICO, I thought of pool investment. As the gaming industry is huge and with the number of ICOs coming up, the market is growing bigger and bigger.

I have invested in 2 ICOs and it was good but this will be the first gaming ICO I am thinking.

There are so many gaming token and they are all died. I guess you should avoid the gaming platforms because they are only offering crap concepts that will never become a true story in the future.
There is a lot of investors have been getting fucked because the development gets stopped in the middle of the roadmap.
The recent GDC has attracted a lot of investors and developers towards gaming in blockchain, so is there any chance? I am invested because if check the revenue its pretty huge. You may be right that lots of projects are shut down on half of the way.
