people supported bitcoin out of greed wanting to free themselves from neofeudal rule of the banking cartels, now, they have their own bitcoins they want to sell for hart work, same like satoshi did,

so confidence is different now, without indexation mafia, bitcoin wouldn't be able to go one like now.

Personally-yes i have confidence in the bitcoin project in the long term, shure it has some problems, and the speculators don't help but taking a long term vie i think it will survive and flourish.

It obvious many people has lost there confidence of bitcoin but I don't guess that is the right thing to do now because this will really cause bitcoin many damage when people lake confidence and decide to dump it, the only way to help  bitcoin is to take holding because the last shay smile.

right now the community is not at a loss of confidence. or a growth of fear.. the community is at a 'no innovative, excitement happening' period (nothing to hype)


where the fear is/reduced confidence will be, is in the utility of bitcoin dropping

this can affect things as a snowball effect in the future, which can effect the speculative volatility of the market price. if bitcoin has no utility, then even with scarcity. people wont want it. and so there wont be as much push. in the end the only market movers will be the miners, which if they decide to move a few rigs over to other coins. hashrates wont rise and the remaining miners can get more rewards regularly, thus reducing their costs and increasing their rewards meaning they can sell for less.

so its important that bitcoin NETWORK (not side services/networks, not drama, not emotion) but bitcoins blockchain re-innovates otherwise the hype of bitcoin being "the greatest" dies. which then snowballs.

I can say yes because people are still buying bitcoin. We may feel disappointed about the market now but its pretty normal for me because of the manipulators, time will come and bitcoin will grow on its own. For me, I can say that there are people that still have confidence in bitcoin. They have confidence in bitcoin but not in the market price of bitcoin. I hope that bitcoin price will rise.

You can't blame people panicking , whales selling there bags and bitcoin continously dropping its price like theres no tomorrow. The recovery phase is unknown since market still in bear state.

I don't know if people still have confidence with bitcoin but personally I still trust this market and I know bitcoin will grow again. If bitcoin doesn't enjoy the support of the people, we can see all the so called Flippening (ETH), Bitcoin Cash taking over or Rippening (XRP). Just look at those 3 altcoins, they are bleeding more than Bitcoin.

So absolutely, Bitcoin has the majority support. Most of us are complaining because majority haven't been in the bear market. They join early or late 2017, and really thought that wow, this is really a good investment to make. However, the price can't sustain the momentum from last year so everyone didn't know how to react in a bearish market that's why it looks like people are losing confident which is not the case.
