I think maybe they were hoping to ignore the problem away.

Exactly.  Put yourselves in my shoes, all the objective data that exists tells me that I'm being lied to to my face, refused the refund that was stated to be guaranteed on the website when the terms were obviously not met, then shipped the product anyway after I asked for the guaranteed refund four times.  I'm not just going to go away when I feel like I'm being lied to.

You want this problem to go away?  Then you can message me with some kind of solution then I'll delete my posts.  Otherwise, I'm just going to pursue this matter in whatever means possible.

Hi rOach

We have just messaged you.

As the miner has been shipped to you it makes it hard to do a refund but I am sure we will resolve this for you.

Regards

Simon

Has anyone ordered from zighash.com? Or know if they are an authorized reseller?

I spoke to the owner yesterday - yes they are an authorized reseller and he'd be happy to send you a copy of the dealer letter from Hashra.

they're good guys and carry just about everything...

Zighash are official.

We understand that some people prefer to deal with a local company so we are taking on a couple of resellers in the States and Europe.

for me there are a  lot of unanswered questions.

1 -instruction for setup - where are they?
2 - does this thing come with a built in rasberry controller? - unanswered
3 - power plugs on back are 8 pins - do we plug our 6 pin gpu plug only or 6+2 when possible - unanswered
4 - can a static IP address be set - unanswered
5 - is this thing using controlla software - if so - where the link to the new software

many questions....

does anyone know these answers?

#2 is right there on their site

Quote
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
1 x LUNAR LANDER WARP 1
1 x SD CARD ready for Raspberry Pi with HASHRA CONTROLA firmware.
1 x USB DATA cable to use with Raspberry Pi
1 x Raspberry Pi Power cable for standard Power supply unit (4 PIN Connection)
1 x Raspberry Pi
1 x 24 Pin Power Switch connector to be used with your Standard Power Supply Unit.
1 x Ethernet cable for Raspberry Pi to your router.

for #3 I didn't really understand why Hashra said you need 2x 6pin because to my understanding 1x8 pin provides about the same amount of power.

The others I can't comment at all sorry

I don't like rasberry's - I wonder if I can run this thing without the rasberry - they're unreliable as far as I'm concerned and I did not like having to apply that boot patch they all required,

it took me about 1 week to deep six the rasberry on my gridseeds.

Now I just run my seeds and my blades from a rig with one Gpu card in it...

I downloaded the BAMT on a stick from ltcrabbit and then downloaded and compiled the gridseed version of cgminer and they run perfectly and never ever go offline. I love this setup.

We will also have a copy of CGminer that will work with miners that you can use on a PC if you dan't want to use the Pi.

This will be available to download very shortly.

Well spotted Sir.

hashra.com/support/ will very soon have firmware and set up guide. : )
We will not sleep. : )

Everyone will have an SD card loaded with firmware anyway but we will make sure it is available to download also like we have done in the past.

The pins on the back are 8pin sockets but you need to use 6pin cables for it.
If you try to use a 6+2pin to make it an 8pin it will not work in the miner.

As long as you use a good quality PSU with separate cables for each 6pin that will be fine. Modular PSU is best of course.

Simon - when will information regarding mining & firmware & setup be posted?

In addition - the tech specs on the website say 6 PIN Pcie, but the pictures of the units show 8 pin connectors on the back.

please clarify

Hi!

Here is an easy guideline for PSU requirements:

WARP 1:
1 x 500W PSU with 2 x 6pin PCIE Connectors.

WARP 2:
2x 500W PSU with total of 4 x 6pin PCIE Connectors.
or
1 x 1000W PSU with total of 4 x 6pin PCIE Connectors.

WARP 4:
4 x 500W PSU with total of 8 x 6pin PCIE Connectors.
or
2 x 1000W PSU with total of 8 x 6pin PCIE Connectors.

WARP 6:
6 x 500W PSU with total of 12 x 6pin PCIE Connectors.
or
3 x 1000W PSU with total of 12 x 6pin PCIE Connectors.

If you search around you may find that buying the 500W PSU's will work out cheaper than buying the 1000W PSU's. ; )
There are some good deals right now if you search around on Corsair CX500's.

Hi Guys

I know a number of people are still awaiting for their tracking numbers.

Sorry for the delay in getting these out to you.

This weekend including Monday is a public holiday here in China, a complete oversight on our part to be honest with you and the shipping company that we use gives us the tracking numbers after the parcels have been collected.

Normally we get the tracking numbers at the end of the same day or early the following day but because of the public holiday the shipping office is now closed and we are still awaiting for some of the tracking numbers for batch 1.

We do apologise for this and as soon as we get them we will send through to you.

I have been in touch with most people that that this has affected and still working through the remainder now.
Most people I have spoken to have been really understanding and we do appreciate that.

Obviously if anyone wants to get in touch with us then please email info@hashra.com

Thanks

Simon and the Team.

Shipments going out as we speak…

Tracking numbers coming shortly. : )

We use a shipping company so get tracking numbers after they leave us, bit back to front way of doing things.

13  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: HASHRA CONTROLA FIRMWARE FOR GRIDSEED MINERS INCLUDING "BLADE" on: May 26, 2014, 01:27:44 PM
Is there any reason why I cant run a 5 chip gridseed miner along side a g-blade using the controla for g-blade? has anyone done this? I would like to free up a r-pi.

We had to make some changes to the firmware for the Blade to get correct readings so I'm afraid it cannot be used to run the 5 Chip Mini units also.

Sorry.

Correction:

You can actually use it but the readings will all be wrong in Controla, you would need to get the readings from the pool side.

Love this image...has worked really well for me!  How many seeds can the HASHRA Atlantis support per Rasp Pi??  When I tried to run over 20 on a regular wheezy install it would bomb out after a few hours.

Hi,

The CONTROLA can support 20 Gridseed minis max.
16  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HASHRA CONTROLA on Raspberry Pi for Gridseed on: May 21, 2014, 12:21:34 PM
Got an ODD problem I'm hoping someone can diagnose...

Using the Hashra Controla v 1.4.0 image from the Hashra site, updated to 1.4.5 via the web console...

2 days ago, we switched our mining to LTC coins.  After updating the URL to point to and doing a Save and Restart, I saw only 9 of our 11 GridSeed miners come up  (Miners 1 thru 9 came up...).  The remaining 2 say "loading" on the advanced tab.

Last night, I pressed the web button to "Restart" and saw 10 of our 11 GridSeeds come up (Miners 1 thru 10 came up...).

Any ideas what I can do to get all 11 GSD's up?

I noticed it appears the Raspberry Pi seems to be using a specific program for LTC mining that's different from what it uses for other lite coins.

Thanks!

GS

hi greyscale,

Please email to info@hashra.com screenshot of the activity log when you start the miners and we will help : )

The Hashra Effect... Like that.  Cheesy

A few weeks ago I purchased a gridseed blade from hashra. It came pretty quick and was packaged very well. they included every cable I needed for instant plug and play. The raspberry pi even had a case on it. The service that I received is what made decide to buy the lunar lander warp 1. I have one question though. I bought after the first discount but before the more recent one that was given because the decreased projected hash rate of the product. I received an email stating that I would be compensated for this decrease in hash rate either by a refund or by extra mining equipment. For the people that have placed larger orders, I can see how you will just ship them another module to make up for the loss in hash rate but how will people that only bought the warp 1 be compensated?

We would look at what was best for you.

In this case you would get refund so that the $ you paid per MH was better than after the spec update.

It's important for us that anyone that purchased earlier on benefits from doing so.

We are obviously still working on the firmware etc, still a good chance right now the module will work out at over 15MH.  Smiley
