1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: August 05, 2018, 06:40:10 AM
Another thing to keep in mind is that you have to see the function of the token itself, ask yourself this, why do you need a token for that?
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : How do you educate noncoiner about crypto? on: August 03, 2018, 04:14:43 PM
I would direct them to Bitcointalk and get some exposure. Read up on specific posts about bitcoins. Show them the trends of bitcoin and the risks involved in it. Teach them how a wallet works and how to buy crypto. By this point they might not be interested anymore so that's good. But if they are interested and buy bitcoins, tell them to be patient everytime the price drops and not be panic sellers.

Any specific bitcointalk thread that you show people to expose them to crypto?

This one is now simple, I just show them my wallet or my transaction history and that's settles it, no one would say he doesn't want money, all they may be concerned about is the guarantee in the investment but we all know there is no guarantee anywhere, life itself is not even guaranteed for anyone

Exactly, I couldn't say it any better myself Cheesy
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoins and not bitcoin? on: August 02, 2018, 01:41:56 AM
What are your arguments in favor of altcoins?

Both should be adopted en masse and complete each other, in my opinion. Because bitcoin has a huge network effect which will usher massive adoption but altcoins has features that bitcoin don't have

Just be natural and talk to your family and friends when the time is right. I guess the most important thing to mention is the risks involved. You do not want them to come after you everytime Bitcoin price drop by a couple of hundred dollars.

Yeah, that's whats happen to people who advice their grandma to buy bitcoin at 20k  Roll Eyes

To see bitcoin on 1 million dollar or Ethereum to 10000 dollar, we must all understand that it takes mass adoption to get on that point.
And mass adoption begins from home, so how do you educate your friends and family about crypto?

Hi good day I educate my friend by doing a simple task for them 1st I put him to a challenge if my friend reach the Jr. member I will guide him how to bounty create some blog and article after that I tech him to Airdrop in Telegram then, after all his effort  he can earn a stake and token, Then I tech him to find some Exchange his token so that he don't need me any more if he know the trading system.

That's an excellent steps actually, no need to spend anything but time. Quite appealing for younger generations.

So this is really the case, but people do not trust the rumors when it comes to money is the best advertisement, I think when the crypto will be advertised on the TV then its perception will be much more!

Well perhaps its only a matter of time until CNBC's fast money advertising ICO  Wink
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : Please share any altcoin project pegged into real world commodities on: July 30, 2018, 03:50:06 PM
people should not take decision on just the discussion of other people. It is better to check the research on the company and also complete out a research on own and then act accordingly. as from the research full information is obtained.

Offcourse we will, this discussion only to highlight which project is well known to people so we can narrow down our subjects
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : Please share any altcoin project pegged into real world commodities on: July 29, 2018, 06:55:52 PM
These sort of detailed information can be found in the archives on the internet. Getting a short summarized post is not enough because crucial details may be missed out due to a summarized version. So, it's better to get your research done.

Of course we are still going to research the full informations, we merely wish to list which is which.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : Please share any altcoin project pegged into real world commodities on: July 29, 2018, 06:40:13 PM
There are several ALTcoins that are backed gold. For example: DigixGlobal, AurumCoin, OneGram.

In addition to these there are several altcoins pegged to USD. Tether (Centralized), MakerDAO, TrueUSD, BitUSD. There is a cryptocurrency pegged to mining energy (stablecoin with limitations on maximum processing power) but I cannot remember the name. Rare Pepe assets have been minted as physical cards. Precious coins with BTC/LTC/DOGE encrypted within. Perhaps more but that's what I am aware of personally.

Thank you Cheesy we never know about Rare Pepe minted into physical cards before. Quite interesting, will look into it. Anyone else?
Has anyone ever heard of crypto backed agro commodities perhaps?

Being a subsidiary of an established company would also be a good way to gauge an ICO so that you are very sure that they are not here for the cash grab

I let them see it themselves how bitcoin change my life and status so they were be the one to ask me how did i do that and from there the messages spread from my family members and connecting friends

As of today most of my family members invested in crypto though some are small holders but atleast they ate starting to adapt and spreading the message

I'm sure crypto has change your life already, you must've been here for a long time to be hero member.

Nice to know your family members also a hodler Smiley must be an open minded family you got there.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : How do you educate noncoiner about crypto? on: July 27, 2018, 03:24:26 PM
Before educting someone, be sure that the recepient of your idea is an open-minded person. If otherwise, now just stop your plan in telling him/her about crypto. It is important that the person you are talking with shows interest on it.
Then start explaining bitcoin, altcoin and the ways you can earn from it. If you can, show some of your earnings and tell them how exactly you have made that amount.

Exactly, talking to closed minded person will only leads to argument.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : How do you educate noncoiner about crypto? on: July 26, 2018, 02:07:01 PM
In my opinion, it is really hard to educate and convince a people if they themselves are not interested in to cryptocurrency. However, I started to encourage my daughter to join with me in my quest to earn profit through signature bounty campaign and told her that once she will be able to earn, she can use such profit for her personal use. Right now, she is actively participating in signature bounty campaign and almost near to end the campaign period. She just wanted to try and take her chance just to know if if is a real thing.

It's heartwarming to see crypto as a family activity Cheesy and good for your daughter as well for being an early user of crypto. May her journey ahead is all greens and no reds Smiley
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question : How do you educate noncoiner about crypto? on: July 26, 2018, 08:44:56 AM
Introducing crypto to everyone is not as easy as imagined, It is necessary patience to convey the term crypto because there is no guidebook and can only be found in google.

Something worth doing is not always easy. In our project crowdfarmx, we are going to educate farmers about blockchain. Its not easy, but its worth it Wink

No need to educate people since this will happen automaticaly as soon as people notice that cryptocurrency is getting famous and profitable. There is no sense in explaining cryptocurrency to your friends and family because they will not get it right away. To learn about cryptocurrency, you must be willing to learn, I my self did not listen to my brother when he explained about crypto. I learned by my sepf when I noticed that cryptocurrency is real.
Instances would differ on each person because we do have different family members or relatives which either they are tech-savvy or not which they do either understand or not when you tried out to explain.I would say it would really be worth to try even we do know if outcome would be positive or negative on their side but atleast we do help up about adoption even just starting on our own home.
Its hard to explain completely on a person which do have zero knowledge about internet things but learning up crypto isn't really hard.

I agree, adoption starts from home Smiley

Well initially, you have to educate yourself first. I'm pretty sure that a huge number of us in this system does not have a full understanding of what they have gotten into. But learning does come along the way. And the only time you should start educating others is when you have personally gained something or have had your experiences on how the system works. But please don't force yourself to go educating people because you want to. This is not practical. This may only cause you stress and frustration. Only inform people when they ask. Only go deeper if they keep on asking more. This way you'll know they are interested.

I see, hopefully with the whole cryptoverse stabilizing now we can see more and more people begin to curious once more about crypto without fear of getting slammed like early this year.

With the market of crypto currency on rising demands each day, the most famous and popular altcoins to invest on being, e.g Ethereum, litecoin etc. are great altcoins to invest on bringing positive returns as profits to users in real world without conversion losses. In world they help in eliminating the whole need of excess conversion losses which is great to use as a sole currency all over the world, anywhre and everywhere, soon!

Yes Ether and Lite are well and good, but we are looking for commodities, or other real world product that's pegged to crypto. Have you heard anything about any of it? If so please share Smiley

There are many projects pegged into real world commodities like Swiss commodity fund, BitBay. But can you please mention why you are looking for this rather other projects?

For now we are studying the correlation between real world commodity and crypto as we are about to launch that type of crypto  Wink
