1  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ratings and Reviews on app stores can't be trusted on: November 26, 2020, 06:58:07 PM
Absolutely. This is the case when the relative freedom to host applications in Play Market has the most detrimental effect, because ordinary users somehow trust the place where they download applications. And it does not matter that Uniswap does not have its own application for smartphones.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | BINANCE | The Operating System for DApps on: November 26, 2020, 05:51:13 PM
Maybe I and you have different opinions on this matter, even though Cartesi has a pretty good project concept but it looks like it will be very difficult for Cartesi to reach the top 100 because currently Cartesi is ranked 532 in the CMC list and doesn't require a high enough jump for Cartesi reach rank 100? And it seems that now cartesi doesn't have a good reason to be able to jump that high and the development of the cartesi project is quite relaxed without any surprising buzz from the current cartesi development team.
It will not be that easy, but to get to the top 100 they need to have a capitalization slightly more than 100 million dollars. It's not such a difficult task for a project that has clear goals and strong community support, isn't it?

Any idena when sharding & oracle?

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't repeat same mistakes on: November 25, 2020, 05:09:24 PM
There is no doubt that very soon Bitcoin price will be higher than $20,000, but that is not the main question. So what will happen next? The price can easily fly away by 30,000, but the option with correction to 12k is also possible.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where to find current crypto Airdrops? on: November 25, 2020, 04:28:38 PM
I use a service called Dropsearn, which regularly updates the list of available campaigns for participation, to find interesting and profitable airdrops. This is better than choosing one of the hundreds available on the forum. Also, I sometimes use Airdropsalert.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this the end of Monero? on: November 23, 2020, 07:26:02 PM
What do you guys think about it? According to the structure of monero transactions (rings...) will they really be able to trace it? Or just another hype?
I think this is an overstatement. Some structures could not create a tool to track transactions for Monero network (obviously, they would not have written about it if they had such a tool), so they decided to pretend to have achieved some success. Typical cheap move.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 23, 2020, 07:18:07 PM
Yes, we do need more managers like them but in fact, every time we support a new manager, most of them will end up with a scam campaign, because the new managers never care about the fate of the hunters, they only care about the payment from the team. Look at the detective who at first always managed good campaigns but now many campaigns he manages are obscure, have very low value and EZY doesn't pay hunters until now.
This is a typical problem of any bounty manager, which very often cannot be solved clearly. You can sit idle, waiting for the "Free Ton" analogue, or work with projects that are ready to pay for the manager's work right now. And bounty hunters, if they get lucky.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: We need more bubbalexs and Hhampuzs in this space on: November 21, 2020, 09:52:27 PM
Let's start supporting jr member accounts managing new bounty projects, not all of them are scammers, the only way we can have good people like Hhampuz, Wapinter, bubbalex and others is to give helping hand and support new bounty managers, all pro bounty managers today starts from somewhere too, I have promoted few bounties from new bounty managers with jr member accounts and they are quit good, I even put one or two through about some headaches like POA and stuff, we need more bubbalex don't we? Before judging any new projects from newbies or jr members kindly check the projects out first, thanks
I completely agree. I do not determine the seriousness of the project by the status of their bounty manager on our forum. The most important thing is the project itself, and a serious approach to its development. Even if the bounty manager is a newbie.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: November 21, 2020, 09:43:50 PM
No... we can't say that for sure because IDENA economy rewards you for high score which is impossible to get validating 2 nodes. It's better to have 1 good node than 2 shitty with high risk of failing validation on one of them. Majority of people that i've spoke has 1 node per 1 person. Some of them have few nodes but each of them is being validated by real life person (f.e friend/family member)
I have talked to many people who think it is better to have three nodes with a bad score (and to participate in mining) than one with a good one. Obviously, I do not support them and therefore, I have only one node.

Okay, maybe this is not half of the total. Quarter.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CARTESI | BINANCE | The Operating System for DApps on: November 20, 2020, 01:53:08 PM
Like I said the project team is working hard and we can see that here. Good news overall, the project is getting more and more serious.
Сompletely agree. I have no doubt that within a short time we will see Cartesi in the top 100 of the cryptocurrency market. The idea of the project is really very useful and revolutionary. And the most important thing is to develop ideas on the right path. I'm a fan.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: November 20, 2020, 01:47:25 PM
Every month a new snapshot is taken, and on base of that the monthly rewards are calculated and distributed.
Thank you for your full response. I received all the answers to my questions. Now is a good opportunity to buy more FRM tokens at a very good price, so I'm particularly interested in this question.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: November 20, 2020, 01:43:31 PM
How many nodes are currently running right now?
I mean REAL nodes Grin Grin
We can say for sure that real people in the project are about two times less than active nodes now. As long as it is possible to have two nodes for one person, nothing will change.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot can take place of Ethereum? on: November 19, 2020, 08:22:33 PM
Polkadot offers better scalability than the ethereum blockchain. It offers relay chain, cross-blockchain features, forkless network, decentralized governance and all these are not available in the ethereum network. Actually, Polkadot offers all the solutions to those problems that the ethereum network can not. So many projects are using the Polkadot network. Do you think Polkadot is really Ethreum killer?
Not sure it will be a killer. Just like a another strong player on the market with its own revolution technology. It will just take it's place and own market segment. That's it.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: November 19, 2020, 08:13:52 PM
I am a long term supporter  of Ethereum and  know that it is the most trusted network to create smart contracts but the kind of Huge fees for withdrawal and swapping of tokens, we have to nowadays due to slow network or congestion , is going to make it unpopular coin in coming months and other networks like, Binance, EOS, Polka Dot may take its place . The issue with Ethereum is that its developers are trying to scale running Blockchain which is like repairing a car while driving.
I am not sure that it is possible. The coinmarketcap list contains a lot of blockchains that are built on very cool technologies, but for some reason Ethereum is still in first place.

Two words - trust and decentralization.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: November 19, 2020, 08:08:03 PM
[You need to hold the FRM and FRMx at the moment the snapshot is taken. The reward allocation is based upon the snapshot data.
So if I have only 50k tokens I would only get an airdrop once? What if next month I'll buy another 50,000 coins? Nothing will change? Sorry, but i didn't find the answer to this question in this article.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: November 19, 2020, 08:00:57 PM
So I guess without the bots/fake account, the network may have shrunk over the last couple epochs. That is a little concerning, but I am glad we have figured out a fix now.
Yeah. That's great that network become more and more secure, and the most critical code vulnerabilities are being fixed now - while the network is still small and not so popular.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Free TON - Proof-of-Stake Blockchain Network on: November 16, 2020, 02:14:00 PM
This is an interesting job, but not everyone fits the selection criteria, since a narrow specialization is needed here, and experience and portfolio are just as important!) But in general, this is a great opportunity to prove yourself, even not just as a jury.
The selection criteria are really very serious. Initially, I thought I would participate, but when I saw the requirements, I realized that I shouldn't even try.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idena is the first Proof-of-Person Blockchain on: November 16, 2020, 01:57:02 PM
At the end of the summer, or rather on August 31, coins were unblocked not by developers, but by early investors and they could not serve as payment, perhaps it was from other funds. more details here https://scan.idena.io/circulation
Oh, my bad. I knew about the existence of a such section in the Idena explorer, but for some reason I was sure of what I wrote above. My mistake. It means that the payment for listing on Hotbit was made from another source.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: November 16, 2020, 01:43:06 PM
No, they don't drop to 50,000Frm, you have a mistake to rewards are paid monthly.
With the upcoming Community Drop, you will receive 1 FRMx per 100,000 FRM held
Read: https://medium.com/ferrumnetwork/introducing-the-dynamic-holders-rewards-with-up-to-30-apy-5ddb950a9b4f
It is strange...

"Every Ferrum holder who qualifies for the monthly rewards (i.e. those holding at least 50,000 FRM and 1 FRMx in UniFyre Wallet) has an equal opportunity to receive attractive monthly rewards"
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ferrum Network | BITMAX | DAG Interoperability Network | DeFi Apps on: November 13, 2020, 11:52:42 AM
everyone holding 100,000+
Is 100,000 a strict minimum at the moment? I heard something about lowering the minimum number of coins to 50,000 FRM. I'm not ready to buy another 50k to get the 1 FRMx as airdrop.
