161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum is future? on: October 13, 2018, 03:23:06 PM
Is ethereum going to be next bitcoin?

No, I don't think anything can move bitcoin from the first place. Maybe in the distant future, it will happen, but not today and not now. If you do not solve all problems, that the Etherum may even fall below 5-th place in the ranking.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 reasons to start playing blockchain games on: October 12, 2018, 05:38:14 PM
Thinking yet? Let me help you.

You should start playing blockchain games, because:

1. In contrast to usual video games you owe products you bought for your game. And blockchain controls all the operations;
2. You don’t need to invest money to start earning;
3. You earn crypto;
4. It’s only in your hands. Nobody can influences your chances to win. It’s just you and your gaming skills: the better you play the more you earn (up to $3k);
5. There is trading too;
6. You have more possibilities to earn;
7. Competition is low. You can make a good profit just being professional;
8. DApps users number will be growing comparing to traders.

I believe this is potentially the most promising technology for gaming in the future. Because I agree with you - if you are a gamer, I think that you need to get acquainted with the games on the blockchain. It is necessary to be in trend from the very beginning.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: October 12, 2018, 05:27:25 PM
I have this assumption that we may be having another December bull run, though may not be as high as we had last year. Bitcoin however have maintained a very good support level around $6000 since this year and there is no sign of breaking lower.

Sampling opinions from various investors show that there is this excitement and anticipation of another end of the year bull season and aside TA and FA, the market is equally controlled by the investors psychology and with this whole charade of an expected December bull season, I am of the opinion that it will likely come as a lot of persons are already waiting as we have a large number who are "for" than those "against".

To find out, we need to wait a few more months - because, before two months, the growth of the cryptocurrency will not happen. I think it's quite possible. Bitcoin looks very good and we may see it at $10,000 towards the end of this year.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: KYC to airdrops is it good? on: October 12, 2018, 05:15:00 PM
I don't think KYC for airdrops offered is fair for those who joined. Some ICO with airdropping is not also fine to get KYC for tokens worth almost nothing or a burger meal is not really fine. I observed it in some ICOs with airdrops that even with giveaways like that so small needs KYC? Don't fall for it guys, not worth it.

No, I don't think that's normal. Don't forget that 95% of all airdrops are pure fraud. But they don't just need your subscription to their social networks. Your passport data is their additional earnings or a tool for use on the darknet.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: October 11, 2018, 04:52:37 PM
Hi,

I lost some coins this year (my own fault in Phising)
But if you send your coins to multiple wallets you can split your investments better.

When your wallet is hacked you only lose this wallet.
This is my lesson for the next time  Smiley (and some other securities)

What do you do to secure your coins / tokens?

I would just advise being careful when navigating links from email and from telegram/Twitter/btt. You will lose money, even if they are on different wallets - it will not save you i think. I try to keep on separate wallets those tokens that I consider promising. This is a long-term investment.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: price of litecoin before 2019. on: October 11, 2018, 04:48:09 PM
Litecoin, a profitable coin, can hit 60 dollars before 2019 but i do not think it will rise to 65 dollars before 2019.
But why? I believe that Litecoin may well cost even $100 before the end of this year. This is a very good coin, which undeservedly has a low price. Very fast transactions and extremely low fees - isn't this a great option to buy?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the mission of crypto? on: October 11, 2018, 04:37:39 PM
I know crypto by the end of 2017. I learned a lot about crypto but I still do not know what it was born with a mission. I have heard many people say that crypto will change the world, crypto will be the future currency to replace real money, crypto will be applied to life, .... I still have not seen many things Applying from blockchain technology instead of paying for some co-payments between projects.

In my country, blockchain is slowly but surely integrating into the real sector. The application of blockchain in logistics, accounting and the administrative sector is being tested. The next elections in the country are planned to be held on the NEM blockchain. The future will show what the blockchain is capable of. Maybe it's overrated?
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin: I do not plan to leave Ethereum in the foreseeable future on: October 10, 2018, 06:05:40 PM
Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin said he was not going to leave the project in the near future, and the community misinterpreted his recent tweet that the platform could survive in case of his unexpected departure.

Well certainly. The recent news of his departure from Ethereum did not affect the price of the asset. I think that was the main reason for the news. Later, he announced that he did not intend to leave the project to reassure the holders and preserve the reputation of Vitalik Buterin. That's almost good news.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: will humanity stop using cash on: October 10, 2018, 05:00:51 PM
I have a vivid discussion with my friends lately. They say that one day people will forget what cash is and they will start use card only. Then the era of the changed and innovated cryptocurrency world comes, and we will stop using money and switch on crypto coins only. They say it might take twenty or thirty years, maybe longer, but it is a sure thing to happen, they have no doubts about it. I am not so sure... well, people might give up using cash as it is not that convenient, but giving up money as whole? I really really doubt it, it seems so impossible for me. What do you think? Maybe we will start using something brand new, neither cash nor cards? What is the future of the cryptocurrency world, anyway? Will it die in fifty, sixty years or it is going to be a thing that will live forever? Let's dream for a while Smiley

Yes, I think it's quite possible. But it will be a very different humanity, a different generation - without constant wars, hunger in Africa and inequality. Now we can't completely give up cash because people are too stupid - that's my main answer.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I earn a merit on Altcoins Section? on: October 10, 2018, 04:13:46 PM
This is my first and only account way back 2017 and look's like there are so many changes around here in bitcointalk.org. Just wondering if there are possibility to have some merit on this section, cause I read a while ago that you need merit to rank up. Since I want to participate on some bounty campaign here in altcoins section, I need to rank up first with activity and merit of course.

But it look's hard and the smerit is limited specially if you have member below account. What is the most effective way to earn it? Is there any shortcut for that price?

Well, this is a challenge for me since I'm new on this league, but I will try it for such a good reason.

 Kiss Kiss Kiss

It seems that you earned a merit in altcoin section. In my experience, this is possible. But you never know what you're gonna get merit for. You can write good posts, no one will share with merits. Looks like you got lucky.  Wink Don't stop, bro.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How much did you earn in bounty for 2018? on: October 07, 2018, 01:28:27 PM
Now bounty hunters have a lot of difficulties. I have been participating in the bounty since February 2018, have participated in 5 projects and only one of them has paid out to date, but the amount is very small - the equivalent of $ 5  Grin.
I know that in 2017 the situation was different, I saw participants who received $ 5,000–15,000  Shocked  each.
What do you think will be more serious payments?
And how much did you earn?

On ICO prices in 2018, I earned quite a large amount, but the real price of all tokens is about $500. I participate in the social media campaigns and signature campaigns here, on the forum. This is not much, but I hope that the situation can still improve before the end of this year.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Government does not like crypto? on: October 06, 2018, 10:57:46 AM
Cryptocurrency is the most popular terms nowadays. People like cryptocurrency so much. Many people are involving in the crypto world. Everyone wants to earn money from cryptocurrency. While people are liking cryptocurrency, Government does not like it at all. In some countries, the government banned the cryptocurrency. What is the reason behind this banned?

As a rule, the Government has banned all the new things they can't understand. But now they prohibit cryptocurrency is not why. It has already been studied and poses a great threat to the global financial system. Why do we need a dollar if we can pay for purchases using cryptocurrency?
173  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: October 06, 2018, 10:44:09 AM
Yes, I believe that cryptocurrency will be the future of this planet, and blockchain will make it more honest and secure. I am not sure that our generation will see the results of blockchain integration in everyday life, but our children will successfully use it in the future.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bad are ICOs this year? on: October 06, 2018, 10:37:06 AM
News headline says "76% of This Year’s ICOs Are Already Under Water"  and most of these are ICOs launched at the first quarter of this year.
If you’re going to invest in an ICO, then, the message is clear: be selective, choose blockchain projects over anything else and make sure you get into the pre-sale. Otherwise, you’ll be wasting your time and your ethereum.

Watch out folks!  Grin

https://news.bitcoin.com/76-of-this-years-icos-are-already-under-water/?utm_source=OneSignal%20Push&utm_medium=notification&utm_campaign=Push%20Notifications

ICO projects in 2018 are very greedy and stupid. They want to raise a huge amount of money without even having a prototype of their own finished product. Only on its development, they ask tens of millions dollars. I do not think that this is normal, and it is quite natural that all these projects could not get out of the water.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long do you plan to hold on to your top Cryptos? on: October 05, 2018, 04:07:54 PM
I'm ready to hold the coins for a long time. Now I have collected a very good list of coins in my wallet, which will give me a very good profit in the next few years. I'm willing to wait 5-10 years if it will be needed. This is my position.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to HODL only 1 cryptocurrency for 10 years how should you choose? on: October 05, 2018, 03:49:49 PM
This is a simple question, I think. I believe there is no point in holding something other than bitcoin. 90% of altcoins will die within the next 5 years. You will lose money if you hold something other than bitcoin. But I would also keep XYO on my wallet. Good choice.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Crypto Projects with the largest developer communities on: October 05, 2018, 03:45:31 PM
Just found a small interesting article, which lists the coins with the largest amount of developers working on their projects.
Not surprisingly, Ethereum came out on top, with over 1000 developers contributing code the the project.

One interesting coin on that list is definitely LBRY, which has 334 developers and 19 of them were actively contributing to the code (active developers last week).
I say interesting, because the coin barely has any volume or marketcap.

Now please tell me - can Etherum die, if he has such huge database developers? I don't think that's possible. People work for a common goal to make the Ether network better. And I believe that they will succeed.

By the way, today I read an article about projects with the smallest number of developers.  Its Dentacoin, Populous, DigixDAO and Dragonchain. The development of Dentacoin does 5 people. Dragonchain - 11  Huh
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH to hold now or not? on: October 04, 2018, 09:44:14 AM
Although the whole market is red, I'm very much afraid of holding ETH now. In my opinion, ETH was fluctuated to its ATH when people were more interested investing in ICO. Nowadays ICO is almost dead. That is why it has less demand. I don't think it will get another ATH soon.
What's your thoughts on it? Should I hold now?
Certainly. Etherum is a coin that will definitely grow in price. You can rest assured. I'm sure of that as for bitcoin. There is only one question - when exactly will it happen? We can see a periodic Etherum increase to $300, but when will the rally to $2000? Wait and believe.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ♠️♠️♠️Exchange bounty stakes to ETHER (ETH) instantly ♠️♠️♠️ on: October 04, 2018, 09:38:57 AM
The idea of this project is very good, without a doubt. But I'm not sure it would be very profitable for bounty hunters. It is likely that the price of stakes will be very low, which indicates earnings from the signature campaign about $10 per week for Jr. That's my guess. For some people, that will be enough.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum back at number two on: October 04, 2018, 09:10:48 AM
Over the last few days Ripple (XRP) has shown steady increase. With a huge rise of about 40% earlier today, taking its growth to over 100%, and earning it the number 2 spot (top altcoin) and usurping Ethereum.
But it's reign didn't last long, as Ethereum quickly Flippened it, with a growth of 17% and it's back as the top altcoin.
The start of a bull run?

An opposition of XRP and ETH is an opposition of the centralized shit and the decentralized world computer. And I am sure that Etherum will remain in second place until the end of this year. Can he take first place? I'm not sure he's capable of that. But Ripple will be pissed anyway.
