While I am disappointed in not hearing from the devs or seeing any new apps, yet. I am still holding. Having another project to occupy my time has been a big help in not going stir crazy, waiting for news. I did think I needed to make an appearance to show my support and to let you all know that turning fifty did not kill me, yet.  So you didn't have a month long party??? I couldn't take the full month off. Had a couple of IRL clients who needed their websites finished. I'm also leading the dev team of another coin in trying to give it some new life... I enjoy new challenges, almost better than beer.  On top of that; my wife lost her sister, yesterday, from injuries from an automobile accident that happened the day before. Her sister's husband had died, suddenly, just a bit over week before that. Lots going on... My wife deserves a month off after what she has been through the past couple of weeks (and putting up with me for 29+ years). No one could survive a month in Vegas. The tournament as a whole runs a month, but only on Thurs-Fri-Sat-Sun each week. The best bet would probably be am early weekend, or 4 day weekend if you will. |

Thats pretty harsh, different people have different risk profiles, the risk profile was above what he is comfortable with with the situation at the time, so it was a good decision for him to lower his risk. But with lower risk profile comes lower to no reward <edit> plus with the limited information that we have this is a gamble not an investment that you can do due diligence or research on, not everyone is a gambler @joshycoin good comment Maybe it was a little harsh, but when they said they would update before the end of August, why sell at the lowest point with a week left in the month and calls the devs amateur? 1) How were 90K coins stolen!? The pre-mine was 200 Million, were they taken from there? I don't understand how it wasn't an all or nothing type deal. What happened?!
2) Who are these "investors" you keep talking about and why did they back this coin? You haven't even convinced me to throw any hashing power at mining, I don't see how you get a company to throw a big dollar amount at this. They obviously don't post here. That was your 3rd failed coin attempt. What are you doing with their money? Obviously not investing it in marketing because there have been like 4 people in this whole thread talking about the coin.
3) New launch...what has been changed?
4) You have to get a block explorer going. That should be out the same time as the coin, no buts about it.

Well this was the pre-mine address: DT6pLH6RJgxZESbEsuFj1DCR3qJBJgQejK But the coins were sent to the Bittrex wallet for....."security". Seems super weird that the coins from the pre-mine would be sent back to a different wallet in smaller chunks...but that's just me. I'd be willing to bet the pre-mine was dumped when the coin hit the exchange and if indeed that's the dev's wallet, they were bought back when the coin bottomed out and put back into that wallet, but really who knows. Not like it matters now, coin is all but dead. |

Scam or not....the whole premise of it seems like a scam....and I've said it since Day 1. Pre-mine of 33.3% of your own coin to create "a bank" and putting a price of $10 per coin on them. You just can't create a coin, take 1/3 of the coins, have a value of $1 billion dollars and go from there. None of it makes any sense to me. Interestingly the three UK companies listed in the ANN, are all located in the same large residential house in Hartley Wintney in Hampshire and have the same directors.
The newly (self) appointed director of "Waccoin Europe Ltd", Martin Wild, just so happens to also be the director of the other two companies.

Of course it has only been added to Bittrex because they have been paid. That is how a coin becomes a sponsor, they pay Bittrex some money.
It has nothing to do with community or market demand.
Yeah, I recently saw a post from a coin I am invested in and one of the community members contacted Bittrex and they said they would add the coin for 3 BTC. A hefty price if you ask me. It's obviously not about community support. This coin has a thread of 15 pages and more than half are the dev and his team. Judging by the volume thus far it won't be on the exchange for long either. |

I'll say up front I haven't read the whole thread.
Here is my problem with 99% of new altcoins. They are just ideas. Someone has a big idea, makes a coin, gets it on an exchange as quick as possible and most of the time the coin pumps and dumps and dies. In my opinion for an alt coin right now to succeed a lot work must be done before it's announced and mined. Software must be developed, games/casino/etc up the minute the coin launches, debit/credit cards with coins available right away, the blockchain and all wallets pre-made, etc.
So many coins come out with nothing but a plan, gets some coins, makes some BTC and decided it's too much work to actually do what was purposed or never planned on doing it anyways. There needs to be better use-ability in the now and not just in the present. Just my 2 cents.

because hes a scammer. He didnt give an ounce of proof of any developments but a meaningless screen shot. He stayed quiet for weeks and occasionally posted "you guys have no idea what we're on behind the scenes." And 2% premine...that's a red flag...where is the premine address, was it transparent from the beginning. This project was bullshit. Reminds of Particles dev, MoonMoon. He did the same exact thing, disappeared for weeks and months, then would come back make some hype update that he's working hard, but no shred of proof and it has been going on for 8 months now. 2% TOTAL pre-mine and ~16.5% pre-mine of the PoW coins. There is a big difference! And you are right we just keeping hearing how big innovative things are coming. 2 or 2 people have claimed they had "skype" convos with the dev about big things they couldn't announce! 15 dev team! Yes, coding things can take awhile. But not this long. I posted months ago about the 16.5% pre-mine and then was even more skeptical when the pre-mine got moved to an exchange for "security" reasons and then the blockchain mysteriously went down. I even posted about several times only be called a "fudder." Use your head people. Pre-mine all got drumped the first 2-3 days it hit bittrex and polo. De-listed from bittrex, almost zero volume on polo and probably will be a de-list candidate soon enough. |
