1  Economy / Lending / Re: 3mos on 10K loan on: January 23, 2016, 06:56:52 PM
I see your point. My collateral would be the SSDI winnings, however, I wouldn't be able to provide any digital collateral to clear things up.
2  Economy / Lending / 3mos on 10K loan on: January 23, 2016, 07:56:22 AM
Here's the deal. I have a pending social security hearing for disability benefits worth about 140k in backpay. Its set to go before a judge next month. I have all the paperwork from spinal, bone, blood, GI, psychiatrists and my primary care doctors and more whove filled out the necesssary paperwork to say im fully disabled and can no longer do the only job I did for 20 years nor answer telephones or be a Wal-Mart greeter. Pretty solid case.

When we win, my lawyer gets paid (maxes out at 6K for disability cases) and hed pay you the balanced owed plus interest. Would be able to have the lawyer send a notarized document with the agreement.

My situation is currently a tough one but outlook will soon be good. Is this something anyone would be interested in doing?

3  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking for a line a credit on: January 13, 2016, 12:14:02 PM
That poor bastard could become the owner of a near 500K house depending on terms if I default. <br /> <br />Google bad credit on HELOC loans and you'll see my problem. Not saying I'd need that much, but the process of falling of short and asking for more looks worse dowm the road. That's why i like line of credit from my experience.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking for a line a credit on: January 12, 2016, 10:27:44 PM
Who's this schizophrenic, now?  I want a signed word salad sandwich attesting to the illness before I would lend a dimer.  And that, of course, with proper co-lateral.  Thank you, frank you, I Caesar rank you.

Mmmhmm, Yeah, thanks for the laughs. Didn't know where to turn. Have the collateral, no lenders, anyone who has knowledge working with title companies might be interested in the transaction, but perhaps not.

It's an unfortunate story, one I won't go into much. schizo's can be very intelligent, scary, and wait forever, the perfect moment to screw you over in the most unimaginable way. That's what happened, and his lawyer agreed, signed some shitty bogus paperwork that he didn't even file with the courts to take action (used bogus case numbers with the county auditor), withdraw from the case after his work was done, and essentially retired. Now I can sue him for damages because everything he did was either invalid, expired after 60 days (statue of limitations, its been 1 and 1/2 years now), was done with malicious intent, is considered criminal and possibly more.

5  Economy / Economics / Looking for a line a credit on: January 11, 2016, 07:30:27 AM
Would like to establish a line of credit of about 200k to deal with some legal matters with my schizophrenic family member and permanently put him out of the picture, clear up some minor legal issues and put a few upgrades into my house that im at the present not allowed to live in before i sell it. Id like to also take to court the attorney who made this all possible by fililing wrongful and malicious paperwork to evicit me from my own home that i am the only owner and causing losses of several thousand us dollars for two years.

I own the deed free and clear only my name in seattle, wa.  Due to brother and him being schizophrenic and helping him in past I cannot get loan or HELOC at bank because of bad credit. Perhaps bitcoin and clear house title is my best option as I would like to capitalize on the property but am currently stuck.
6  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Cheap zones for power on: June 01, 2015, 10:55:34 PM

I am in Washington, so that could be great. You say we, who is we, if you don't mind me asking?
7  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Cheap zones for power on: June 01, 2015, 10:44:17 PM
Since most mining gear uses between .4 and .5 watts, what would be the cheapest zone or area to locate mining equipment? I was told to look for a .3-.4W zone, but I don't know where that would be. Is such a power zone available in the US, or would it have to be in a 3rd world country....?

Thanks in advance.
8  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What hardware to buy with $500K. Can you get 16NM or 20NM ASICs? on: June 01, 2015, 05:02:49 AM
Well, it was mostly a hardware mining question, since I wanted to know which miner was the best bang for the buck (one that would be out or coming out soon) or even if 16 or 20NM ASICs were available. So I don't know.

Quote

I don't think he meant to be mean with his comment.  If you were really investing 500k yes you could very well make a thread about it and your updates (It might be put in mining possibly though).

People come here asking if I buy X miners what will happen?  If I had X amount of cash and bought miners what will happen?  At least once a week these are asked if not more.  But people just don't follow through and buy the massive amount of hardware.  So this causes it to be speculation, or something that really is not going to happen.

And again none of this is meant against you or your question.  It just is common for something like this to be moved from hardware.
9  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What hardware to buy with $500K. Can you get 16NM or 20NM ASICs? on: June 01, 2015, 03:41:33 AM

Really yourself, buckwheat. You must really enjoy moving threads, as we're not all hip to each category. This was a mining hardware question. TBYSADH. :\

Mining speculation or I WANT TO BUY XXX$ worth of miners? Really?

Wrong section.

This topic has been moved to Mining speculation will be the next move for this thread one can only hope.
10  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: What hardware to buy with $500K. Can you get 16NM or 20NM ASICs? on: June 01, 2015, 03:33:11 AM

My calculator @ .10 for power and 1.2PH/s put me at around 9 months, but I wasn't looking at ANT Miner's, but rather a new product that is due out soon. I'd need about 200 of them, and might boost it to 1.8PH/s.

The problem I run into is that's a lot of colocation space. Each server is 2u, 1600W and does 6TH/s. It may make more sense to host it at home, but I'd need about 500kW of power....Lol..Not sure what is needed to get that kind of set up, but hey I do have a 4 car garage with no cars it could all fit into.

I think 9 months is a reasonable return on hardware if I'm between 1.2-1.8PH.
11  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / What hardware to buy with $500K. Can you get 16NM or 20NM ASICs? on: May 30, 2015, 10:23:46 AM

I was thinking about renting some colocation cabinets and estimate a $600+ day power bill. This would probably place my rent in the $25K a month range if I decided to get into the bitcoin business and drop some serious cash on hardware.

If you were to drop $500K in hardware, what would you buy that is available or expected to be available in the next couple of months? I would think the price of bitcoin would need to be about $250 or greater to return a profit, and I believe eventually it'll work its way on up to the 4's and $500 again. But hey that's just me, and lots of folks I've talked to say bitcoin is dead. It's been flat, and growing slower in acceptance this year, but I have hope.

I've read 16NM has been in development and I think 20NM ASICs are available. Can one buy just the chips themselves and have them assembled on a PCB? Essentially, what would be the best bang for the buck to return a profit? Or is the difficulty just too great now and power consumption too much that its impossible? Somewhere the numbers must add up to return a profit, but I've had no luck in finding the hardware needed to do so. And other companies have decided to no longer sell to the public and just mine for themselves. That's why I was curious about sourcing the ASIC chips themselves. But I have a feeling it would be a lot more work to assemble a working rig if one were to drop a few hundred grand. Is cloud hashing a good bet?

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, it sure did. BITCF is explosive. And it is now operating as a Bitcoin exchange. This thing could be very huge.

It has seen a lot of trading activity since http://coinqx.com went live in its beta stages.

Looks like a new bitcoin exchange has opened up. They are called CoinQX. The website is http://coinqx.com. They are also publicly traded and released a PR earlier today. Their ticker is BITCF. The F stands for Foreign because they are located in Vancouver, British Columbia, otherwise it would be BITC for Bitcoin.

Hi Apxu thank you! Have you done this or know anyone that is? Smiley
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: question regarding source code & dev on: February 05, 2014, 07:14:55 AM
I was interested in started my own network, a P2P, like the -testnet but as the main net. It would be on a different port and the client would be associated and updated with that port. So that was why I asked if there was a way to reset it and not have it it connect to the actual bitcoin network. I tried to experiment, but each test resulted in massive amount of blockchain data from inception. Hehe.

It should be possible but I'm wondering if it involves massive amounts of coding, or is it just undocumented features?

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / question regarding source code & dev on: February 05, 2014, 05:56:37 AM

My previous question was regarding starting your own coin, but that didn't seem to get anywhere. I was able to download the code off of github and get it compiled within an hour, minus some libboost issues. I see that testnet is used to mine or otherwise test coins and hardware and has been reset twice. I believe -gen may be related to -testnet? Is it possible to reset and generate your own coins using the main network and not testnet? I know the answer is yes but I don't see any instructions on how to do this. If someone could let me know either publicly or privately I would appreciate.

Thank you.

19  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: updated start your own coin source code question on: February 02, 2014, 09:06:42 PM

Ah, I see. I was looking at some others here, looks like one started in 2011, maybe I will check that out. Seems like coingen might be easier, and was recently updated. I read the story and It was available for 0.01 BTC, but recently, at least as of yesterday, the person who made the updates the the free version changed it to .05 BTC, so I thought that was too much. Since there was no licensing issues, I thought I would ask if someone might want to email me a copy anyhow. :-)

Does anyone have the source from coingen.io to generate bitcoins? It was originally posted here at http://coingen.bluematt.me/build/f6ae0f64.zip but I believe coingen.io made it easier to use? Anyway, thanks in advance.

Nice try) Smiley

It's not so easy to build new coin, except if you just want to change the Name of the coin, and some other parameters.
