1  Other / Meta / Re: My account is banned.Please un-ban my account on: December 26, 2018, 08:40:48 PM
I would love to go work, only my child is small. I don’t take part in signatures. I took the signature once, and that was not lucky.
This is really not an excuse for plagiarising, most of us in here sure have kids, there are so many ways to handle that shit really.
You could get your child a babysitter and get to work
But hey what part of the world are you from, how can money earned in here sustain you and keep you living in a standard way
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: You have exceeded the limit of 2 personal messages per day on: December 26, 2018, 07:07:17 PM
Probably the user you're trying to send a personal message to doesn't allow pm's from newbies,or you're probably just going too fast.
This should not be much of a problem, try sending the private message a bit later, and give a little time between every message you send
3  Other / Meta / Re: My account is banned.Please un-ban my account on: December 26, 2018, 07:01:03 PM
. This is my only income from this single account
Thats the major problem here and the very reason why it's best for this very community of ours if people like you  gets/remains banned
That's isn't a "job",don't make the forum your only source of income, get a job in real life, use your skills for good and earn from other means
Thus earning from this forum would then be an additional source of income

You sure cannot treat the forum like a money making machine, you will end up breaking rules If you do so,just as you did.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we headed for a recession? on: December 26, 2018, 08:20:15 AM
The recession of the stock markets has no effect on the cryptocurrency market in anyways, the stocks at the moment isn't doing good at all,and I do not actually see it improving that much I must say, some measures are desperately needed to save the stock market from collapsing
The bitcoin market on the other hand has been on the decline since the turn out of the year, was even looking to go far below expectations but it's been a week of improvement and it'll run out till the close of the year, with new policies coming into play in 2019,it could be a golden year
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Altcoin Nosedive vs. Market Dominance? on: December 25, 2018, 09:36:33 PM
Nursing the thought in your heart that the ethereum would rival the bitcoin in some ways would definitely turn out to be a futile thought
This alts need the bitcoin thrive, and they will follow suit, the bitcoin is falling higher both in price and volume
I think the very reason why ETH is doing far better that other alts is their team is doing a great job attracting more investors to themselves and coming up with more innovations
6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NOT ABLE TO DELETE MY OWN TOPIC !!! on: December 25, 2018, 09:23:35 PM
I think that the major reason why it's impossible to delete a thread after the 24hr period on some spefic boards is due to the fact that every thread is preceeded with numerous comments, thus allowing users the power to delete threads, they could abuse that privilege, deleting posts at will and get people's comments trashed as well
So that more reason why it's in the hands of the moderators to trash threads and they only do so when the thread is completely useless
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where can i buy bitcoin with credit card on: December 25, 2018, 09:17:21 PM
Since your bent on not giving up your identity,i think it's not going to be so easy to find exchanges that'll allow you buy with credit cards anonymously and for some there are some amounts(money) you'll definitely need to provide KYC details.
Try coinbase and see if it's satisfies your wants
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Free Cryptocurrency book on: December 25, 2018, 09:07:41 PM
It's not everyday you get to see someone trying to write a book about cryptocurrency, with the aim of educating others,it really is a noble task and I must commend you for it
Going through the book,it doesn't look bad at all, just needs a little more proof reading and also to correct some errors either in its citation and otherwise,if that's done then the book will be wonderful
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Bitcoin Alternatives on: December 25, 2018, 12:54:15 AM
Yes bitcoin is the epitome of what's called cryptocurrency today and since it leading in it's blockchain system, a lot of other bitcoin alternatives have we seen in the market trying to surpass what great bitcoin has done but still yet they can't and won't beat bitcoin.
I do not think there is any Altcoin trying to surpass the bitcoin, infact there is no alt close to doing that in no certain terms.
Price, volume, stability etc the bitcoin is more reliable in all that and many more.
Most Altcoins are just shipped out and more often than not end up being one shitcoin or the other, only very few are worthwhile, for example the ethereum.
We'll never see an Altcoin surpassing the bitcoin,at least not at this moment
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Most Accurate 2018 Bitcoin Price Prediction is 4K on January 1, 2019 on: December 25, 2018, 12:42:17 AM
Please do not start to say the so called expert is a genius,or what have you, anyone could have simply said that, and be lucky to be correct.
With the price fluctuation,i think by Jan we could be around 4000 probably
No one can actually predict the market, you can simply give your own views or thoughts, and when lucky, they feel like geniuses, most predictions have all turned out false all year long
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use bitcoin? on: December 25, 2018, 12:37:18 AM
At this moment I'm yet to use bitcoins to make purchases or carry out any other functions,i bought bitcoins early this year and I'm still hodling till now,so it's safe to say I use bitcoins as a means of investment
I actually came on board because of the huge level of financial freedom the system could provide
But on getting in I've come to realize that the bitcoin and the blockchain technology is a whole lot more than a get rich quick scheme
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: US or China: Who do you think will legalize bitcoin first? on: December 25, 2018, 12:32:34 AM
That's just the fact,it maybe impossible for us to say which one of the two countries would legalize crypto first since we aren't clairvoyant, but amongst the both countries China seems to be the one with the more cryptocurrency awareness, with talks of a launch of their national coin, and a high number of miners over there
It's only logical to believe China will fully embrace the system first
13  Other / Meta / Re: I should be a merit source | Timtheyoutuber on: December 24, 2018, 05:30:55 AM
This is not the right method of application, for now you just seem to be demanding to be a merit source
You'll have to follow the due process,as @suchmoon has listed them out for you,and only then could you even be put under consideration
3. We will take a look at your history and maybe make you a source.
Pay close attention to the word "maybe",which means even fulfilling the requirements and applying the right way doesn't automatically mean you'll get it, and I doubt you will,i do not think theymos is looking to add sources just yet
14  Other / Meta / Re: Happy Hanukkah to the forum. on: December 24, 2018, 04:08:53 AM
It was prophesied in this thread, and it actually didn't take long before it happened, this is just one few hours later,O'boy we're in for some happy Christmas, hanukkah, etc show
Oh boy.. looks like we're going to expect a spam of "Merry Christmas" posts soon..
15  Other / Meta / Re: Merry Christmas to the Forum on: December 24, 2018, 03:56:57 AM
Oh boy.. looks like we're going to expect a spam of "Merry Christmas" posts soon.
Lol,looks same to me, at least we'll be getting a few more before the year runs out,and if they do not get the expected response,it'll be whine upon whine down into the new year  Grin

Merry Christmas to all members of the bitcoin talk forum,Lets all enjoy the season in love and giving Grin
16  Other / Meta / Re: Threats to inflict bodily harm on: December 24, 2018, 03:51:11 AM
I think it's a bit serious cos the member who issued the threat claims that some certain individuals(very rich per se)despite the anonymity the forum affords us can find the other party.
And what they are going to do to him, only God knows what sort of makeover it's going to be
This to me is serious, and should be treated as such
17  Other / Meta / Re: I've stopped reporting posts on: December 23, 2018, 09:03:38 PM
I was going to report this thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5088685.0
The thread has been trashed already
MODS are also humans and they sure have loads of reports which takes time to handle one after the time, with contrasting views which then consumes more time
For the fact you and a mod or mods share different views on a reported subject is no reason to stop, not In my opinion
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the right time to buy ETH. on: December 20, 2018, 05:09:04 PM
Are you asking us or you're telling us, I can't really get your assertions here, If you really wanted to purchase ethereum you could have done that last week as the price was below 100 USD
As of yesterday and today the ethereum is above a hundred dollars,it doesn't still make it the perfect or the worst time to purchase.
Anyone who wants to purchase coins is privy to numerous informations and can do his or her research
19  Other / Meta / Re: Posts are regularly removed. What is the reason? on: December 20, 2018, 04:42:28 PM
It's either cos your posts are of poor quality, and probably off topic based on the topic that was discussed.
But if you didn't get a message about the deleted posts then you commented on low quality threads that got trashed all week long  Grin
It's normal
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold on to your hats: We’re moving up yet another Bitcoin flagpole on: December 20, 2018, 03:43:00 PM
Isn't it rather to early for us to start the party as of yet,we definitely are all glad with what the charts are displaying to us.
But I'm somewhat reserved to speculate this could be the end of the bear as it could plummet yet again, who knows
