1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable? on: November 11, 2018, 10:06:59 AM
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?

It is still good to invest in ICO but pick the best project which have very promising and usable coin which is applicable to our daily life , and regarding to erc 20 token is also in demand to most of the people in cryptocurrency .

It is better to find out more in the project to be invested because a lot of the current projects are unsuccessful and stop without further information.
too much fake project now. they just make it them and get investment, so it never run really
I still find some promising ICOs that doing good on their crowd-sale even if the market is not performing well. But the problem is the price will dumps once it get listed on exchanges. We shall do our own research about those ICO as the risk is more higher than buying your token on those projects that already listed on reputable exchanges.
they just wwanna buy from 1 and sell in 10 lol, not much inversters focus really in project, then them sellout like hell when listed and make huge selling cap

Almost of ico give profitable for investor, but you have faster for selling your asset investment after listing at the exchange market, when you get with higher price than ico you can sell it and try for joined other ico investment project at the next time.

It depends on how long you want to invest in altcoins or Bitcoin. Bitcoin will rise in price and it's just guaranteed and most likely Bitcoin will become a rare coin, in 10 years, so I would invest in Bitcoin anyway. In altcoins, it is worth investing for a shorter period and they should always be sold on time.

Bitcoin is a KING

China Should Consider Launching its Own Stablecoin, Central Bank Expert Says in Op-EdNEWS
The Chinese government should consider launching its own yuan-backed stablecoin despite the current ban on cryptocurrencies, an op-ed in Chinese financial journal CN Finance reports Tuesday, Oct. 9.

An expert from the People’s Bank of China (PBoC), Li Liangsong, and professor of Fudan University Wang Huaqing wrote an article called “Analysis of Digital Stable Coins” for CN Finance — a bimonthly journal affiliated with the PBoC.

In the opinion piece, the authors provide a brief review of USD-backed coins, such as Tether, the Gemini dollar, and Paxos Standard. The researchers expect them to increase the role of dollar on a global stage and to suppress other fiats, with the yuan among them.

The authors suggested that China should analyze other companies’ experience and “double its efforts” to create a local stablecoin. However, other digital currencies have to stay prohibited in China, they stated.

Stablecoins have recently seen a boom with two USD-backed coins launching in the U.S. in September.

The Winklevoss twins, founders of crypto trading platform Gemini, acquired permission from New York regulators to release their own stablecoin, the Gemini dollar. Later, Circle — through a consortium that includes Bitmain — announced it is launching a USD-backed digital token dubbed the “USD Coin.”

Shortly after, the audit giant PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) partnered with decentralized lending platform Cred to offer their expertise in launching its USD-backed coin, especially in terms of transparency and “substantiation,”

The Chinese government first started its anti-crypto campaign in 2017 by closing all of the country’s cryptocurrency exchanges and banning Initial Coin Offerings (ICO). Following the move, the PBoC has repeatedly warned citizens about the risks of crypto trading.

Despite the crypto ban, the country has actively been exploring blockchain solutions. Earlier this autumn, the PBoC announced that its blockchain trading and finance platform is launching in Shenzhen. The ecosystem is also being tested in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and the Macau Bay Area and is being developed for cross-border trading. Later, the country’s official blockchain pilot zone was established in the Hainan province within a dedicated tech park.
7  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How much does an Airdrop cost? on: October 17, 2018, 08:55:03 AM
i have been doing airdrops, and bounties, but not for long. at first it was like all ok. but then i saw, its so many of them, how should i know which is good and which not, how to not waste time on bad ones. i mean im not some broker, how should i know this all. and then some of my friends got scamed. on telegram some dude keeps poping offering to make fast btc, just give him etc wallet. then the companies asking for photos of id. and then, when regestering on their sites type email and pasword. and i thought, well, i cant alwayas keep making up new paswords. also there will be people who will use the same email and pasword on etc walet and on sites, and if those sites still info and pass the tokens to them self, then what, nothing. so i started slowly, to read ico rewievs, still not sure what im doing, but i guess its important to stard doing something while being vigilante and think twice are and which info about yourself you are gonna send to which site.

Yes, I agree. Using the same password in each website and the same e-mail is dangerous.

Personally, I would just join an airdrop or a Bounty that pays in tokens for  a project which I would invest in the ICO.
i lost  my email because airdrop form on google, be careful of it, now i use other email and password for  earn bounty and airdrop.
