1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LUNC -where did the coins go ? why private key isn't enough ? on: July 30, 2022, 08:06:35 AM
Hi all,
I did a test yesterday - I sent coins to a paper wallet I created using terra station, the transaction was sent successfully, but no money in the wallet when I restored the wallet it still shows 0 coins (I did manage to restore the wallet but no coins).
Withdrawal Address : terra1ss33z7cje3pz72qz30u7ssvflmht3m9myf5qar

Did I needed to put a memo ? I am not sending it to an exchange so I though I don't need to and I didn't know what MEMO to put.
what are the reasons a transaction can be sent successfully but not received ? the address is and was correct (didn't sent it to the wrong place..)

second question : why when restoring the wallet do I need the password ? It's so stupid that private key alone isn't enough..
Thanks
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNC paper wallet on: July 22, 2022, 07:33:51 PM
thanks for the comments.
where can I find the old paper wallet generator ? do they even had one ?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LUNC paper wallet on: July 16, 2022, 09:20:00 PM
Hi everyone,
is there a paper wallet for lunc ? is the old paper wallet (if there was any) is still gonna work ? (same protocol right ? luna2.0 is the one changes so the old one should work the same).
I want to HODL but now online and I don't want to use Ledger or something. I hear too many bad stories of people who forgot their password to the ledger , or it can possibly break..
So please don't suggest it , I just want to know if there is the paper wallet solution or not.
Thanks
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a order a simple order for this case ? on: June 24, 2022, 06:22:49 AM
Thank you for the responses' but I didn't understand edgycorner answer.
I can't do 2 orders on the same money at the same time, and of course I can be on it 24\7 and do the right one when the time comes (transforming myself into a bot haha), but I want one order to cover both ends.
The reason I want it is because I think the asset will go to 50$ so I don't want to buy at a 100$, but it things change I don't want to lose the train completely and want to "stop" at 130$.That's it. It's not that complicated of a use case and it's weird there isn't order to that
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Is there a order a simple order for this case ? on: June 23, 2022, 02:24:38 PM
Hi,
I have a question that confuses me and I cant seem to find a simple order for it' just complex ones.
Let's say there is an asset that's with a current price of 100$.I want to buy at 50$ or at 130$ (higher than current price!).I thought it's buy stop limit order' but that with both prices below current price (is it not ?).
Do you know any orders for doing it ?
Thank you in advance
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH wallet password on: May 04, 2022, 11:16:33 AM
The first point is the private key is very important, and one thing you need to remember this private key should be enough when you want to import wallet to wallet even to new devices. but if you lose your private key then you have to secure the Json file, in my opinion a password is also needed and even needed to enter the wallet, so my advice is more precisely, you need to save it because in the future of course you will need it again.

It can be concluded that the information provided by both of us and you when you want to open your wallet is very important.

Why not just save the private key twice ? why I need silly json and silly password ? If I can access my funds just with private key then it's easier than json+password
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH wallet password on: May 04, 2022, 11:07:49 AM

The private key is enough every created wallet is associated with a private key there's no mention of a password, the password is just a security feature added by the wallet developer and the password can be changed anytime if you're using a metamask and you transfer to another computer you can set up another password but you cannot change your private key that is associated to your address.
[/quote]

Thank you. That's what I understood from the beginning.
What I didn't understand is why people here are talking about saving the password for double guarantee.why not just save the private key twice ? 7 times..who cares ? I really don't see the usage of the password.
Thanks
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still safe to use & what type of encryption does ETH use ? on: April 26, 2022, 04:42:52 PM
Hi,
thanks for the reply but I don't think you understood my point.
First I never said pubic and private key are the same.
what I am asking is what cryptographic encryption does Ethereum use today vs what Ethereum used in 2017 or 2018.
I want to create a paper wallet with the old version of myethwallet..
another question is why does it says in the json when you open a wallet with the link I posted - "cipher":"aes-128-ctr","kdf":"scrypt","kdfparams""..look at the wallet in the link(https://github.com/MyEtherWallet/etherwallet/releases/tag/v3.11.3.1).why does it say aes-128 and if it becuase it's true does it still used today ? (it's looks a little weak to me why not at least aes256..)& (aes128 is 32 Characters long ,but the wallet shows 64 Characters private key (like aes256) so its weird.it say 128 but print a wallet with 256 characteristics)
But I read online it's not aes128.so what is it and if it's different -why, and is it safe to use ?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Is it still safe to use & what type of encryption does ETH use ? on: April 25, 2022, 05:32:36 PM
Hi all,
What type of encryption is this (in the pic). It's 64 characters long.Does it ECC 256 ? AES 256 ?
Second question -I used this wallet here :https://github.com/MyEtherWallet/etherwallet/releases/tag/v3.11.3.1
and in the json file in says -cipher":"aes-128-ctr".aes-128 is usually 32 characters and aes-256 is 64.(64 characters of the private key !).so what is it ? aes-128 or aes-256 or ECC128/256.
Last question and most important - if I created a wallet today with it, and I never used (never sent fund to it), is it still safe to use in the cryptographic sense ? (like encryption type and the version- funds won't be lost because it's an older version right ? is it still the same type of  public\private keys to access ? nothing change in that matter right because if it did, many people who actually used it in 2018 or 2017 or whatever will have problems with it-SO WHY not also use it today right ? lets think I did it 5 years ago.
so the most important question is if I can still you it today, save the public and private keys and that's it, as long as the private key is secure then all good , right ?
Thanks in advance

one last question- is ETH still uses AES-128 ? why not 256 or stronger ?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH wallet password on: April 25, 2022, 09:47:19 AM
Thank you all for your answers.
I already knew the answer I just wanted to be sure.
Maybe I wasn't clear but I already Lost the password (because I never saved it because I knew that private key is enough), but then a second later - second guessing came in , because who know, what works for BTC or any other coin not necessarily means it's the same in ETH.
but with that I do understand that it's all comes to the same cryptography- AES128..so the private key can be used after opening a new wallet and import the private key.
Just wanted to be 100% sure that I won't get f in the future.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ETH wallet password on: April 23, 2022, 10:16:34 PM
if I created a wallet with a password and then exported the private key .Does in any way I will need the password or is the private key sufficient ?
Thanks
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / ETH paper wallet code on: April 16, 2022, 08:15:27 PM
I want to create a offline paper wallet and I saw some guides on YouTube that guide you to myetherwallet.com to download the code locally (like : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bv8OGNGVOhY). The problem is that those videos is very old, and the website change (I can't find this option..). Does anyone know a legitimate source code for the wallet generator ? I WANT THE ORIGINAL ONE ! because if not, someone can easily add a line pf code to create the same X address (and he has a copy or something)-This scares me the most! Why no official offline paper wallet on the website ? (mytherwallet.com or the actual "official" website). Thank in advance.

thanks for the response.
i saw a 64,000 $ btcusd perpetuals even though btc is now 57,000.why would people buy there ?
when i do a trialing command i trade only with the people in the same pool as me (perpetual) or with the open market ?

2.i set everything like in the first picture then i pressed short or long (based on the activition price i set)'and nothing happed.no position,no open order.nothing.(like in the second picture)
what did i miss ?

3.why sometimes in btcusd perpetuals (coin-m) i see the currency at the top (colored with orange color in first picture) as usd and not btc ?

4.why something the bar (colored yellow in first picture) is stuck and not moving from 0% even though i moved some money into futures (transfers between regular and futures wallet ) ?
 thank you

15  Economy / Exchanges / binance futures on: May 05, 2021, 01:34:53 PM
hello.
i have some questions about binance futures i hope to understand.
1.what are those perpetuals ? why there is btcusd perpetual priced x and some price way up or low.why do i have to buy 100 $ for each "share".
2.when i do trailing command it doesn't do anything.i set the callback and price activation.put the % of how much to invest, click buy long or short and nothing happens.it doesnt show new open order.
thanks

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RUPAYA 🔥 Built for SOUTHASIA 🔥 on: November 20, 2018, 10:17:50 AM
RUPX IS SHITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
get away from it
they are stealers.i used to have 20k and they took it.
i cant find those wallets anymore.
they will "open" a new coin and start from 0 every time.who does that ?
if you open a new coin you take the old block and add on top of it.so they will send a announcement that they are changing coin database or some lie and 99.9 of the people would not read it because who is following this shit coin messages.?
and then one day you check your old wallets and everything is gone!!!
if they wanted us to have those coins they would automatically duplicate all the old address.or start from them.make no sense to start from 0 unless it you want to steal.
and that is why the telegarm group is silent.not to warn people.
