Hello all, I currently own 25 SP-30 and am having the same issue on all of them. They all seem to get to a certain speed of hashing and then cut out. They have been running for awhile now and haven't always had this problem. I have ruled out electricity issues and pretty much ruled out cooling issues as they run in a data center. Does anyone have an idea as to what the problem might be? I can send charts from the miners if that helps.
Thanks in advance for the help!

I ordered 2 and received 2, however only one was functional.

Craig, Good to hear from you. Josh eventually sent me the 12k of miners he owed, but one was pretty much DOA, and they offered no help. I'm very interested in keeping up with what happens in court. Mind sending me an email at max@maxwellgoldstein.com to discuss? Thanks!

Just want to update to say that Amt finally sent my other miner.... For some reason it doesn't seem to talk to the router. Issue with the controller board? What do you guys think? Thanks, Max
If it came with a network cable my 1st thought would be to get a different cable. The one that came with mine was intermittent depending on how far the plug was inserted: All the way in, no connection. Slightly in and enough to latch sometimes good. Any lights lit on the network socket (assuming the socket has lights)? Miner and router on the same address block (192.168.1.xxx)? No lights for the network socket on the router. Already tried a few cables. Can't ping the miner because the router isn't seeing it.

Hi,
I want to invest some money in bitcoin mining, because I have the opportunity of a location where I have an extreme low price for power ( <1c$ ). I want to setup 10 THash there.
To achieve 10 T I want to buy a bunch of used miners in the Terahash-Range. Has anyone here experience with used Miners in this range? I want to know if there are miners which are known for a lot of trouble when becoming old - or which are generally known for technical issues.
Any comments or suggestions?
Jay
Hello, I have some hardware I'd be willing to sell. PM me!

Hello everyone, Our company is looking to purchase a large quantity of mining hardware from a company or mine looking to go out of business or get rid of hardware. We are already a decently large mine and looking to expand quite a bit. If you aren't part of a large mine yourself, but know a someone or a company who is, I would still appreciate that information. Place send all serious inquiries to: max@hashbrown.ioThank you, Max Goldstein Hash Brown Mining

Hey everyone, Got my SP30 today, and am having some issues. The miner turns on and all lights turn on, etc. However, I can't connect to the device. I've tried scanning for it locally to which nothing came up- router didn't even recognize it and I tried using myminer.io as well which found nothing. I tried it on two completely different networks, one with 10.0.1.x and 192.168.1.x and even ethernet to ethernet on two different computers. The serial cable that came with it is serial to serial which is no use to me. Think I was supposed to receive a serial to usb, but I didn't. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It looks like I got a different unit than everybody else? At least as far as the case and Pi (mine is red and thus from China) goes. The insides look kinda the same, bent power connectors and all. I just took some pics: http://imgur.com/a/FlTDMFor the record, my package had the red DHL Inspection sticker, was really beat up and taped together like hell, and had a plank of bamboo at the bottom. At least it wasn't a rusty piece of metal like others on here got... Interesting... Maybe they had some other cases laying around? Is there any indication that its AMT? Please take a moment to remove one of the modules and take a picture of the PCB (printed circuit board). You'll see our Logo is on the board and we organized the assembly, production, components and everything else to get those models done. Our rack mount casing was not finished yet and we shipped to clients that would most likely want desktop cases anyway, in order to be faster we shipped with those cases. Makes sense to me!

Hey All, One of my two miners are up and hashing. Here is what I've observed so far. 1. FANS: These things are LOUD. I have 8 dragon miners in the same space, and the 1 AMT miner is louder, but let me explain this. The fans on this thing are ridiculous. There are 3 large fans mounted on the top, and you can feel the air from across the room. These are VERY effective at moving the heat out of my miner. Certainly does a better job of cooling compared to the dragons. Its as if they stuck a box fan in front of the miner, and directed it through the miner. 2. Speed: This miner hashes as it should. On BTCGuild, I'm seeing about 1.27th. I haven't had a chance to test the miner for a long period of time because I got it today, but I'll update later. Seems to be running fine. I took the miners side door off to see what's inside, and it seems like it is the same setup as the dragon miners, but with 5 modules instead of 4. the controller board that hooks everything together looks nicer than the dragons, and I like how the raspberry pi is mounted on the same side as the psu connector. Front view (3 fans very visable): http://imgur.com/RtyA9xvInside: http://imgur.com/nCAsdHxInside view and control board: http://imgur.com/I3G2cBGControl board: http://imgur.com/t3juMm0RasPi: http://imgur.com/lo7YHR4Seems like all of the modules were pretty cramped so they needed to bend the psu connector a bit. Didn't affect anything, but a little bit troubling: http://imgur.com/rL0QHnZPSU: http://imgur.com/rGFLjU8Back view: http://imgur.com/YDFb7ulAMT- feel free to use the images for whatever you find necessary. Let me know if you have any questions, and I am eagerly awaiting my second miner. And I know that there are going to be "why did you accept a package for a $1,200 miner that cost $6,000," My answer to that is receiving something now is better than nothing. Please don't argue with me as I am simply here to show off the miners and offer the help that I can. Thanks, mdiggy Order #1275 It performing as it should is a good thing Good to know. Seems like some people got better experiences than others. No rust on yours for instance and you got a PSU Just to clarify there was no rust on the machine itself and from what I can tell the build quality appears to be solid. There were four extra pieces of metal in my container that were rusted and had potentially dangerous edges. Likely this was to keep the miner's box weighted and it seems to work as the box suffered only minimal damage to one corner. No harm appears to be done to the miner it self as the foam pieces kept it snug as a bug. I just don't want anyone to open their box and get an accidental surprise cut. Got it. There were some metal pieces and screws in bube wrap that I assume are used for mounting. I like the rack mount style and the powerful fans.

More lies and bs. Only 10% from this forum? Check the order list that was compiled by your customers here. If that equates to only 10% then you've really taken millions of dollars from customers...
Still waiting on my refund for my order placed back in DECEMBER!
this exactly! if this is only 10% of your sales zipkin then you sold over a million dollars in equipment. i know you did (sell more than a million). i know you are hiding the miners that were paid in bitcoins. I KNOW YOU ARE LYING. it's too bad after all this garbage we still have to come to this thread and read more lies. we have shown 250K in sales from people who have come to this thread. i dont have to do the math to know you are a lying sack of excrement. zipkin.... you're going to fuck up. too many lies. too much to keep up with. you're gonna slip. karma motherfucker - it's real. I would like to quote Joshua Zipkin on the original AMT thread. "Refunds will be given if we don't meet shipment dates within a reasonable time." Does Zipkin consider 9 months reasonable? 9 months is completely reasonable considering, of course that it's your fault.
