Announcement - KDC CripToe Pools - Announcement Criptoe KDC is discontinuing the 10% Block Finder Reward of 1.6KDC to focus on the JACKPOT After handing out over 4100KDC in Block Finder Rewards, KDC CripToe is discontinuing this reward bonus. With diminished network hash-rate and miner participation this reward is not sustainable while still giving away 10 blocks of KDC every 10,000 network blocks in a Jackpot to KDC CripToe miners. The jackpot system will be run as follows: A drawing will be held every 10000 network blocks, where 10 blocks worth of KDC(160KDC) will be split up and given to three random miners. If the pool runs into issues during the week, either global KDC issues or extended pool downtime, the 160KDC will remain in the pool's jackpot fund to carry over until the next round. There will be a first, second, and third place prize of 50%, 30%, and 20% of the jackpot total. To be considered for the jackpot, you have to have submitted shares to at least 75% of the blocks mined that jackpot round, from block 1 of that jackpot's round to block 10,000. This will be easy to follow, as the first jackpot will be calculated at block 94576(10k past the start of the fork). I believe the 75% requirement to be fair. It benefits any miner that sticks with the pool through the 10k network blocks, from the 20MH/s mining farm to the guy mining on an Nvidia GTX 8800. In addition, if you win a jackpot one week, you can not win the next week's jackpot. You can however win the jackpot the following week. If you are caught using multiple accounts to cheat the system, all accounts connected to your main account, and your main account, will be deleted instantly, no questions asked. This should be a fair system, and something people can enjoy. KDC CripToe has reduced the pool to only 1%

Wait wait wait... you're telling me that a "fix" was pushed by someone OTHER than the dev team? And you're asking us to willingly get on a fork run/started by a rogue pool?
That's freaking ridiculous.
To top it off, that means Criptoe has had EXCLUSIVE access to this fork for how long now at a ridiculously low difficulty?
I'm sorry... this is bullshit. Totally unacceptable on every level.
Kheg, Maybe some background... we run both a public and private pool network... we noticed a fork... we were the first to announce it... we alerted the dev... we were told that the technical side of the dev team was asleep(literally)... we have been in constant contact with Klondikecoin... we made the choice to push ahead with a fix... the dev knew this... we spent nearly 4 hours of writing and testing the fix... we pushed everything to Github as soon as we confirmed that the fix worked for us... we informed the dev of the fix and code changes... we announced we had a fix and that the fix was on Github... the dev team has reviewed the fix... it has become the unofficial fix... and we have made a huge effort to not take over the network including closing pool registrations... and as far as I know the technical dev team has not yet woken up. Would have you preferred that we let KDC burn?

Yes... we have the new wallets.
Even my personal wallet is not wanting to sync.
Something is wrong... current difficulty of KDC is 0.9?!?!
that is according to the 'getmininginfo' from the debug window of the KDC v0.8.6.1-unk-beta wallet

@ criptoe pool
PLS! add back the normal dashboard features... only displaying tekst is just too boring LOL
and can the day estimate be fixed? i think its still calculating on 77 coin blocks
We are working to get this fixed something has gone awry... apologies. Switched back the old MPOS... but there are still some bugs... pool still mining... and is reporting the right block reward of 16... ATTENTION
There seems to be a wallet error that is effecting all pools including CripToe Pools.
We are trying to resolve this.. but we will be taking KDC Criptoe Pool offline to protect the miners efforts and coins until the situation is resolved. [/b]

Over 1300KDC have been paid out as block finders rewards!!! There is less than 1000 blocks before the fork and you will never have this opportunity again... don't miss out!!!
Yes... there is a pool whale... but he has been sharing and if you have a mining farm of any decent size... 5Mh/s or greater... you have a good chance at increasing your mining yield up to 10% by collecting some block finder rewards!!!
Congrats to miner 'thunkit'... who with .850Mh/s found two of the last 2 blocks and collected 2 block finders rewards... his mining yield ~2KDC, but he collected 15.4KDC in rewards... that is getting the KDC Gold!!! Get the Maximum KDC for your hash-rate!!! Criptoe KDC is offering a 7.7KDC block finders reward until the fork of KDC at block #84576 on Sunday, March 2, 2014. KDC Criptoe is running the new and updated wallet... ready for the fork. The KDC CripToe Pool has been online and mining for over 2 weeks with no downtime. Payment systems have been tested and confirmed. So mine with confidence. The pool admin team is working on a plan to reward miners, both large and small for their loyalty... so stay tuned!!!

Really enjoying http://pot.criptoe.com/ With the bonus of 10Pot as well its definitely the best pool for maximising your coins Thanks... we as a team of admins have pulled most of our hash-rate out so that others can be sure to get the block reward. Was a bit of problem when one of the pool admin members was the pool whale with over 11Mh/s!!! Just so you know... all block rewards given to pool admin are returned to the pool... so in the end the public still gets all of the block rewards. So grab a few blocks while you can!!! Thanks!

I know it sucks being caught holding the bag mate. Its unfortunate.
The bag I would be left holding is going to be full of silver. That is fortunate!!! You can't seem to see the forest for the trees... just grab the opportunity that presents itself and run... go buy as much scamming EAC as you can afford turn it into silver... the seller is real tracked him down to an Austin, TX coin shop and he has been vouched for earlier in this thread and over at EarthCoinTalk... I did a bit of homework there for you. Instant $5USD profit on every 50,000EAC that you use to buy an oz of Ag... take the money and run. The seller is only being spared a 20oz order because I am not in the USA or CAN.

Whether EAC is a scam or not... Right now you can buy an ounce of .999 Silver for $16USD... spot price for silver is $21.14 as I type this... go buy all the EAC you can get your hands on and spend it at Earthazaar on the 1oz Ag coins being offered there for an absolute steal... https://earthazaar.com/product/paper-is-poverty-1-oz-999-fine-silver-collectible-round/Who gives a flying-f@ck if EAC is a scam or not... when I can buy silver for $16oz... turn that scamming EAC into real, hard money!

Dabs,
Thanks for support and encouragement... Fuse and I are working through lots of plans and strategies... but I will most definitely keep you in mind.
Our first big push is going to be the KDC pool to capitalise on mining before the upcoming fork that will decrease the block reward.
Chat soon,

We currently have pools in 'test' mode for POT, KDC, EAC, and TAG...
pot.criptoe.com kdc.criptoe.com eac.criptoe.com tagmining.com
The difference we are trying to make is having 24hr admin availability and monitoring by having team members in different time zones around the globe along with the fact that all admin must be miners and mining on the pools to ensure that the pools are operating... connections, update wallets, payouts and etc... since admin lose as well if the pools go off-line or hang-up.
We also have a pair of coders in the team that are constantly debugging and trying to break things... like DDOS'ing ports and wallets, hacking stratum code and etc... to ensure that the pools are stable and secure.
Criptoe is in beta stage... so will be another few weeks until we start major promotions.
Thanks,
|
