2  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN = TULIP BULB MANIA? on: August 23, 2017, 07:44:56 AM
Just take a look at where the reporter came from the BBC ! an organization  that over the last few years has been proven to rotten to the core corrupt and morally bankrupt. The once pride of British journalism/media in the UK and around the world has fallen a long way since only fools and horses. More Fud From the BBC elites protecting the old boy network read with a spade full of salt. The BBC is now no more impartial than kwakduck.
3  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy bitcoin on: August 06, 2017, 09:15:36 PM
Don't ask that question here, if you do then the answer is No. Don't take anybody's word on investments from forums everybody here has there own agenda/beliefs. Take Time do your own research, look at the fundamentals and make your own informed choice, if you don't believe in it why should others. Go and do some serious research before you spunk you hard earned cash.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Cash will kill alt coins..... BTC is king!!! on: August 06, 2017, 03:37:34 PM
Bitcoin Cash what's the point? not even a true altcoin more of a cheap clone copied by greedy Chinese miner and people full of there own self importance after being ignored ( dummy spat out the pram) . Lot of altcoins bring new ideas to the Crypto world what dose Bitcoin Cash bring ( except for free cash, thank you for that ), the rest is just what? is this first coin created in a grand scheme purely to be dumped pumped and then dumped.

Evening gents, been reading your posts regarding moving coins to cold storage as per usual plenty info, thanks. Sure most long term holders already have plans in place for 1st August. So where dose this leave liquidity on the exchanges over the next 3 days? are we in for a wild ride.

It plans to be the Bitcoin equivalent of the 1812 Overture complete with cannon fire and party hats. Bring a friend.

Pmsl Brilliant love the analogy, thanks

I keep wondering the same thing.. When are they gonna come and buy some?? Because when they do everything will go apesh!t.. with blood and paper money flying on the walls. The exchanges will go absolutely bonkers! Vertical will be the way! Trying to flush out coins from all corners of the world with a higher, higher and higher price for each coin from those that hodl so they can regain control of the manipulation. Smiley

big money does not get big by going on an exchange and buying everything with two hands.

it buys otc, but only after crashing the market to the best of its ability.

This. This is how it works.

The most bullish scenario I can imagine right now has nothing to do with SegWit, or aversion of a hard fork, or any of that crap. None of that is even remotely interesting.

The bullish scenario has to do with the CFTC approval of bitcoin option swaps through LedgerX. That's supposedly coming online in Sept/Oct. timeframe. With that we could see some large hedge fund money move in, but not before they first short the market into the absolute ground to shake out weak hands.

If Sept/Oct passes with no new money coming in, or even after the first of the year in 2018, then I don't see anything else as bullish on the horizon right now.

Looking for someone to quote the LedgerX story, Read yesterday can see Hedge funds eyeing Bitcoin and its volatility, don't automatically see as good for the ecosystem at this early stage. Came to same conclusion they will short the hell out of bitcoin.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Finally, Bitcoin is Bouncing Back! on: July 18, 2017, 10:28:05 PM
Been Holding a long time now and been through so many bitcoin shit storms Gox, Numerous Hacks on Exchanges the China Bitcoin Bans, Failed ETF's, Fed sell off to name a few, Have learned to stay relatively cam and Hold been a few lessons learned the hard way.

So to the Question was this market manipulation on a grand scale from Bitmain and chums they knew the shit storm they where creating, they knew this would depress the price and they knew when they signaled ( being by far the biggest player) they would signal a price recovery? 25% profit in  week
9  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 08, 2017, 08:38:31 PM
Thank the Crypto gods the wall is back can only see this as a positive sign..
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: Next Milestone for bitcoin?? on: July 05, 2017, 10:44:31 PM
Price at this time is secondary, Segwit if all is to believed should transfer Bitcoin into a fully fledged currency, for me its all about speed of conformation and transaction costs. How can we call Bitcoin the new Digital digital currency of the internet when i can purchase anything online with a mastercard and have to wait a hour for six confirmations and pay for the privilege. Scaling solution without hard fork and two separate coins being the milestone of choice. Segwit should be the Gatekeeper to mass adoption and a kodak moment for Central banks..
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is it that's affecting the Bitcoin price fall? on: May 30, 2017, 10:25:19 PM
Please not that graph again, read a lot but rarely post.

Gent's take a step back not a fall just a correction and holding over 2k, so far happy days. The jump from 1100 to 2800 was breath taking, Going past 1500,2000 and 2500 in weeks. As i said before don't post a lot, last thread i started was to congratulate buyers and holders that braved the blood shed and purchased at sub 200 ( think as low as 160 ). Never a bad time to take a profit, which a lot done and well done to them, new money will be sucked in, cycle will repeat.

Nothing has changed, Just Hold and wait you are an early adopter.

12  Economy / Speculation / Re: SELL SELL! Whales need cheap Coins! on: July 04, 2016, 12:29:36 AM
What price crash?

Today's price crash, didn't you read my post?
I only invested in this game-changing technology of the future yesterday, and already down about a thousand unsound American dollars. The missus doesn't even know what I gone and done yet, and I can't figure what to tell her.
You suppose I should tell her now, finance visionary, talented video producer, MTV-caliber guitarist and all around Renaissance [Florida] Man Jarred Boyce? Or break it to her easy, sorta ready her for the shock, maybe candlelight dinner, over a glass of vine? Drop it on her just before the roofies kick in?

Or just "hodl" and hope she don't find out? Oh God, what am I saying! Help me wake up from this nightmare, finance visionary, talented video producer, MTV-caliber guitarist and all around Renaissance [Florida] Man Jarred Boyce. Please, just make it stop...

Happy Days my friend , Great post ( if i believed it, which i don't), seriously you need to look at the big picture mate, your only down a grand on you and your beloveds retirement fund. Hell that's nothing so much more to come. over the next few days leading up to the halving the price will drop and touch 600 maybe even lower as weak hands like your self sell at a loss, calling Bitcoin a ponzi scheme because  you never trebled your cash in a month. No worries glad to add your coins on the cheap to my stash. Still it gets better you know the misses will find out you spunked her hard earned cash on another get rich scheme so after a couple of bud lites  you man up and tell her your sad story about a big bad boy stealing your pocket money, not your best idea. The rest  who knows but i suspect goes like this, she packs your bags, mumbling " i should have listed to my mother when she said you were a looser" takes half your pension the car, house and dog, moves her younger hung like a  baby's arm lover into your easy chair as you move into your one bed flat with dodgy aircon and damp patch on the ceiling, truly happy days. now fuck off you paid shil and spread your shit some where else, altcoin forum perhaps ?
13  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 24, 2016, 01:41:06 PM
Why would anybody believe Brexit has no effect on Bitcoin is staggering, look at the price over the last 24 hours, look at every banking stock world wide, look at gold. talk about living in a bubble.Mid 500s yesterday when poll pointed to Remain and now after Brexit hundred dollars up, what am i missing ? This Heralds a two year exit for UK from the Euro block with ever increasing pressure From Netherlands and Italy to follow the UK into there on referendum. The shit has just started to hit the fan.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sudden drop in price: Have we missed any latest news? on: June 17, 2016, 09:00:22 AM
Hold and stick firm just a correction, there is never a wrong time to take profits. Dont let others lead your decision making we all have different entry and exit points, buying at 700 and selling at 760 or buying at 160 and selling 20% at 760 for a free ride. Remember why you bought bitcoins and build your strategy from there if the fundamentals are still good hold if not look for an exit.

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: ;D ;D ;D ;D⚐ BTC Will Rise Upto 1000 Euro Per Bitcoin - SEND DOWN THE RAIN! on: June 16, 2016, 10:32:04 AM
I've been waiting for this rally for 2 years.  Grin Thank god I still have my stash from the old times. We were chanting HODL back then and now turns out it has been the most profitable trading strategy of them all (also considering the low risk that comes with hodling).

With you there brother not been an easy two years, Mining then holding.  Dropping by the forum almost daily, reading  Fud from Haters and burnt traders. Went through all the emotions makes times like this all the sweeter.

Happy feckin Days !!

Think you are spot on Arlene.

If in any dout go back and read the white paper and HODL
16  Economy / Speculation / Re: BREXIT. What will happen to Bitcoin if Britain leave/ stay in EU? on: June 11, 2016, 07:53:21 AM
Polls showing almost a 50/50 giving uncertain outcome, Britain a Net contributor to EU  and second wealthiest nation after Germany. Exit would pile pressure back on central bank and Pigs add in timing of referendum to Halving . Believe this uncertainty can only be a positive factor for  price. Enough for small rise or enough to start having bubble ? we will see only thing i am sure about, this is a good time to be holding Bitcoin
17  Economy / Speculation / Happy Days, Plus for 2015 on: July 12, 2015, 10:38:45 AM
Happy Days?, Mining , Buying and Hoarding for past 19 months of shit for Bitcoin faithful, Mt Gox, US marshals ( sorry thieving cunts), Hackers, " worst performing Currency of 2014 " from every end of year financial rag/blog and more doom sayers than you shake a stick at.

Happy Days, Bitcoin being shown some love from media , price on the up and bugger me senseless banks falling over them self's to kiss the blockchain and joy of joys no longer down for 2015.

Should have had three or four times the amount of coins, should have sold on highs and bought on lows, should have bought coins not miners, Hell still down on average i think but at least I Held!!

Well done to all the Faithful, who knows where next, to the moon going the long way round i expect, but today is a Happy Day!!!!

Sunday Morning Bitcoin Rant.

20  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: June 25, 2015, 12:45:25 AM
Promised the wife once i reached my Bitcoin goal the miners would be sold, after a year and a half of mining job done coins in cold storage . Still want to contribute to network in some way, decided to invest proceeds from sale of equipment into hashnest Pacmic V2. Purchased block of ten and block of five TH contracts today fifteen in total all good expecting to add more as equipment goes availability allowing.

Now the question what is the best strategy regarding auto buy? bit confused with this, Block of ten on, Block of five off at present. Any help/views would be appreciated.
