I chose and stuck with teamviewer for its cross platform simplicity. That, and not having to manage all the port forwarding across the 10 rigs i have in my little farm. Teamviewer lets me connect easily from my iphone, from which I do most of my work while I am away from home. I have been considering switching to linux, however my farm is 4500km away on the other side of the country, and I already burden my brother with enough hardware troubleshooting as it is!

Yes, +180 +180 with factory overclocked MSI cards. the hashrate is usually slightly higher on 2 of those cards but when I'm connected on teamviewer to that rig they both slow down 100-200kh/s each. been pretty consistent and I haven't found a simple solution to that

I just checked the CPU usage on this rig, 99% for ccminer.exe lol. its just a dual core intel g2 3220 on the plus side, it doesnt do anything but mine so I can deal with the extra lag when I log in to manage it ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FWItJZmh.png%3F1&t=663&c=rxVUSDVVQDMpjg)

not liking the higher cpu usage on the new release
I would revert to release 21 until 23 comes out with its lower CPU usage. It's working wonderfully on my rig (changed motherboard and all of my issues went away. Could have been a riser on the 7th card or simply a driver issue I couldn't fix)

Yeah, it's been a while since then, surprised more people don't know. X11 HASH: CUDA vs AMD-- To be fair, I re-downloaded and substituted the Wolf Tahiti-x11 binary. This time I took the additional step of write-protecting the *.bin (binary) file before booting sgminer. I got the following results upon firing up the same sgminer as in my earlier post: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fs23.postimg.org%2Fjkgxqorjv%2Fwolf_bin_x11.png&t=663&c=oOLQmUPm60FZGA) I am running my GPUs at 1030/1500, stock clocks for my 280x cards. I will try faster clocks later, but I am having a real problem with stability. GPU0 crashes within 10 minutes if I don't disable it. I disabled it at about 9min 30sec, after I clipped the image above. It had started to misbehave again. Any card management tips would be appreciated. --scryptr Change your intensity setting to xintensity 128. You'll see a very significant hash rate jump. Also, are you using sgminer 5?

There were numerous other updated kernels (that you pointed me at) that were publicly available even before that, I was already at 4.5mh/s on my 280x's when your kernels hit the light of day.

I don't have any clue what files those errors are referring to. they were just the error ccminer.exe spit out while mining, posted the screenshots of them 2 pages ago. The typo could have been me, I didn't copy/paste them I just didn't want to re post the same screenshots.
edit, yes the typo was me. the screenshot shows simd but I typed smid

So nobody has an answer or idea about these two errors?
"Cuda error in func 'x11_smid512_cpu_init' at line 462 : unspecified launch failure." "Cuda error in func 'quark_blake512_cpu_setBlock_80' at line 308 : unspecified launch failure."
happens regardless of how low I set the intensity, using stock clocks on my MSI GeForce GTX 750 Ti OC TwinFrozr IV's (7 card rig running windows 8.1 with latest nvidia driver)

to be fair that thread is over 1100 pages long ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I'm not concerned with the speed I'm trying to deal with the instability for now.

the motherboard (asrock z87 fatality killer) does not have an integrated gpu. the rig is headless, without even a dummy plug. edit: this is what I was referring to. after the last crash I rebooted and started the miner again and all 7 cards are doing this. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F76HG5Jq.png%3F1&t=663&c=UxOH-mSu2qpULg)

Anyone else have their 750ti cards hashing at different speeds with each restart of the miner? sometimes it mines at 800kh per card, sometimes 200-2400, sometimes 2400 and occasionally 3050-3100kh/s per card. I've just been restarting the miner until it settles on the higher hashrate, but is there a simpler way? on a related note, when it comes up with the lower end hash speed the entire system laaaaags right down to a crawl until I manage to kill the process (win 8.1) edit: im also getting errors occasionally. sometimes right after launch sometimes after mining for 15-20 minutes. It's not always the same but heres one I was able to catch before the miner closed itself. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F5XSvsoz.png%3F1&t=663&c=BWX5tVXcQNyL5g) edit2: heres one of the other errors: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FHWwTbob.png%3F1&t=663&c=XZH9oS02I27BJA)

His miner is probably displaying the wrong numbers, no idea why tho. I'm willing to bet whatever pool he mines on reports closer to 600kh/s per card. With major overoclocking djm said he was able to get 660-670kh/s

Problem with wallet.
I am using version: v0.8.7.3-g9288c29-beta And it says that I am up to date but it says current block is 209,238 but I think the current block as of now is 209,839.
Are there any nodes that I need to add to get it syncing properly?
I am on Windows 7 64 bit but only seen a 32 bit wallet.
Thanks
you have an old wallet and need to update ASAP to not lose any coins. make sure you backup your wallet.dat file before you update. https://vertcoin.org/wp/urgent-update-your-wallets/

Any one can help me i have rig with 750ti and something is not working good at my miner i see speed around 600 per card but in pool my total K/hash is 45 ?
add --diff 128 to your .bat file example: ccminer.exe --diff 128 -a lyra2 -o stratum+tcp://ca.simplemulti.com:3373 -u VjaTMEcsqszaFspbvT97q6P4yLtxS2w28j.7-750ti-1 -p "--diff 1"

Why isnt this post sticked yet!

For people wanting to mine it,
HashHarder has opened a pool.
Check the signature.
It's an Aux PoW coin, so nobody will mine it directly when they can mine VTC or one of the other scrypt-N coins at the same time
|
|
|
That's exactly why we have MON, to test changes to be made to VTC without putting VTC at risk.

+1 For adding this in the upcoming VTC fork, and NOT creating a new coin out of it.
I was under the impression it was it's own coin and not part of vertcoin. You mine it it has a dif logo. It can stand on its own. It can be the #1 Altcoin all on its own. I will be way less interested if just some added on gimmick to vertcoin. WTF? reading between the lines a little bit, it seems that he doesn't want to add it to VTC directly because VTC doesn't want 100% anonymity, but just stealth. So because he's invested so much time in fixing the flawed system, he doesn't want to waste it, and made a new pre mined coin out of it. Sadly, because it is an Aux POW coin on a very small network the chances of it getting far, regardless of its innovation, are probably somewhere close to Parallax (PLX). I'm not trying to put it down or anything, I just believe 100% in fixing VTC for the betterment of Crypto, rather than just flooding the internet with more alt coins.
