ICONOMI governance
The company ICONOMI AG has two bodies of corporate governance, the General Meeting of Shareholders and the Board of Directors. The decisions at the General Meeting of Shareholders of ICONOMI AG are adopted by the shareholders of ICONOMI AG. Currently, the sole shareholder of ICONOMI AG is the eICN Foundation, which consequently has all voting rights at the General Meeting of Shareholders of ICONOMI AG. However, the resolutions passed by the Assembly of Securityholders present binding instructions for the eICN Foundation to vote at the General Meeting of Shareholders of ICONOMI AG in line with the resolutions passed by the Assembly of Securityholders.
As the Board of Directors of the ICONOMI AG as parent company will form the General Meeting of the direct Subsidiaries, close relations between the companies within the ICONOMI Group and control over the operations of Subsidiaries can be managed by the parent company. The Board of Directors of ICONOMI AG in turn will be obliged to implement resolutions of the General Meeting of Shareholders of ICONOMI AG.

For more information about the conversion process now live on the platform, read our announcement. Can I change my mind after submitting my non-binding interest/completing the exchange process? Yes. If an ICN token holder changes their preference, they can revisit www.iconomi.com at any time during the non-binding period, click the “Exchange ICN” button, and cancel their previous choice. After cancellation, ICN token holders can repeat the process by choosing to exchange a smaller amount of their ICN tokens for eICN tokens, or choosing to exchange their ICN tokens for ETH instead of exchanging them for eICN tokens. The only process that is final and unable to be changed is the exchange of ICN tokens for ETH (see below). The process can be repeated several times within the periods indicated in our latest announcement. Notwithstanding the above, please note that since the first exchange of ICN tokens for ETH will be done in December 2018, i.e., during the first round of submission of non-binding interest for exchanging ICN tokens for eICN tokens, once the process of exchange of ICN tokens for ETH is irreversible (please see the technical description below), ICN token holders can no longer change their mind about exchanging their ICN tokens for ETH. What is the exchange rate between ICN tokens and eICN tokens? We currently predict that the exchange rate between ICN tokens and eICN security tokens will be 1:1 (i.e., for one ICN tokens, one eICN security token will be issued). |

As well as unruly markets and elusive valuations, there’s the increasing competition and pressure on fees. And performance has been lackluster: Vision Hill’s Q1 report showed that, on average, active funds have underperformed bitcoin so far this year. The bear market of 2018 triggered the closure of many crypto funds, and a report released last week by PwC and Elwood Asset Management showed that there are far fewer active funds in existence than we had been led to believe. The report also pointed out that, given a median management fee of 2% and a median fund size of $4 million, operational sustainability is tough: $80,000 recurring income is not enough to cover salaries and other overheads, especially given the likelihood of increasing compliance requirements. The PwC/Elwood report mentions some steps that funds are taking to boost recurring income, such as market making and advisory roles. It overlooks one potentially significant source of revenue, however: crypto lending. Funds could lend out the assets they hold, for a fee. Given the growing demand for crypto lending services, this potential income stream could be enough to give a number of funds a greater chance of survival, as well as inject liquidity and diversity into the sector. It could also, however, add hidden risk to the market overall. |

Why we need regulation ?
The main point of regulation is the protection of the investor. We are aware that one of the main properties of Bitcoin is that it cannot be regulated, that it frees the monetary system from any unwanted intervention and monitoring of the authorities. Nevertheless, while this idea is great in theory, it might be utopian in reality. The (Bitcoin) blockchain (a database held and updated independently by thousands of computers in a large network), is not supposed to be regulated, but the venues where cryptocurrencies are traded (also known simply as exchanges) still need to adhere to certain rules, mainly aimed at the protection of investors (traders and hodlers).

Reddit is fun   Active trading will allow experts to manage their portfolio with concrete amounts of single asset. At the moment experts can manage the weights of specific asset in their portfolio (in % amount), active trading will allow them to increase ETH position for specific amount (e.g. 5ETH). Most of the features are coming in first half of 2019. The presented roadmap on iconomi-next is a "living thing" that means we will be adding new features and changing the priority of release according to user feedback ! Hi,
I wonder this project I read about iconomi is this the official thread? What are the NEXT functions like an extension of the original platform or a new project that is integrated. I looked at the website and in the blog it doesn't say much about it. I saw the name of features but where can I like see more of it or do I need to registre on platform and check it out ?
Please help me to get some more info.
