working on the paper wallet.

I would seriously reconsider using generic or stock pictures, or even animated cartoons.

The last thing you want is for people to be mass producing these and when the copyright owners ask you to cease and desist producing these with their images, you will have no control of others doing it.

They will not make a claim straight away, but will do so when they can get the most out of you.

Check out what happened to the Takeicoin and George Takei.
Just using his image was a big show stopper for them they had to re-brand and also change the name completely, don't attract unwanted attention.

When are looking to have these ready? I can help you with finding images.

It's okpool working? Auto payment not working, manual too ;/

Seems like hashing still working fine, just transfers seems to be not working.
I've sent a message to the devs, hope they resolve this soon.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happened to dogecoin? on: April 04, 2014, 01:09:53 PM
The problem with Dogecoin is that the community, which is indeed nice and funny, vehemently refuses to accept the crude facts. Every post that points to the price dip is downvoted. They want to believe that massive tipping, donating, and fun is all what it needs to fly "to the moon".
But sticking the head in the sand and shouting "to the moon" is not the answer. Just as the multipools and the "big players" get richer, the community gets poorer.

Well, you are correct that sticking ones head in the sand does not help when the price is going down, but that is only IF were are talking about a commodity.
They are building a currency, a currency's true long term value comes from the strength of its community, that they trust their currency and thus they create commerce with it.
As long as the currency has more and more transactions thus there is actual true circulation then the value of their economy becomes stronger then only then will the exchange rate against any other currency will go up.

It is about building a strong and durable currency, it is not about one making money by day trading it.
The dogecoiners that will make money are those that build systems to improve transactions and for businesses to use the coin in more efficient and innovative ways.

I like this coin, like ur plans and i'll support it anyway.
A lot of people laughed at doge when they were announced. It was like - "so stupid, bad idea".Now you know what happened.
success like doge?
Doge taken place, no one expect. Hard to do that once again.
People like it cuz doge's price grew fast!  There was a "push" from dev side. And nothing else.

The Dogecoin devs and those who were there at the very beginning decided to make lots of documentation that would be very easy for those non-tech noobs and also they gave away tones of coins in the first few weeks.
They hit reddit with a bang, this is the video they posted and gave away thousands on the thread http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xcaltexImW0

The devs spent a lot of money it is not a cheap video, it is a professional production, they used the same Coca Cola angle, if you drink coke you will be surrounded by beautiful girls.

It was not luck not because the price went up, it was a calculated and effecting marketing strategy.

We need to do the same thing.

We need a hook, Spartans are associated with hard work and training so maybe get a famous athlete or UFC fighter to promote Spartan coins to the people in the fitness industry.
Then we can give out lots of paperwallets on the streets when the campaign hits the general public.

Looking at our business model we see it proper and very needed for us to move forward and grow. Our coin will appear elsewhere I am sure but we see the benefit all around to having something like this available. No other coin has it.

I have a suggestion,
Why don't we organize some sort of campaign properly planned and documented to approach Gyms and Training facilities to use SpartanCoin as their "client's bonus points system or reward system".
It would be perfect niche market to corner and the image fits very well into this.

Surely a gym will not want to use  some like tipscoins, dogecoin, catcoin nor feathercoin... but SpartanCoin, now we are talking.

To the Dev or the team maintaining the official webpage.
In the news section the 3 days after launch article mentions that there is a reddit tip bot, but I believe it was only a tipping war, not a bot.

It maybe a good idea to put the spartancoin official site link on the front page of this thread.

Maybe it is taking long because they forgot to compile with trojan.
since apparently it can only be mined with their specific miner.
No code provided.
