How about something new called Proof-Of-Humanity concept?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-NGxJfS0mw

I started the video but is not what I expected, like a short 2-3 minute presentation of the coin. A intro video is more appealing to me.
New mining algorithm or what is Proof-Of-Humanity? How is this coin mined? There is no cpu nor gpu computational power involved? Does this IDENA have a announcement in here? Thank you!
2  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are there Crypto projects Not on Bitcointalk forum on: March 06, 2020, 12:33:45 PM
Of course they are. Having a bitcointalk announcement is not a "must have".
Even established projects like Ripple, Ontology, Tehter, OmiseGo, and many non top 100 projects doesn't have a bitcointalk.org thread.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ARQMA] ArQmA RandomARQ coin on: March 05, 2020, 08:05:01 AM
Good to see the premine burned.
How much is the POS rate for the APR?
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Staking vs Mining Cryptocurrencies on: March 05, 2020, 08:01:27 AM
Because I don't have a powerful computer, rater an ordinary laptop I go for POS. But I think is more profitable to mine POW then POS, because is harder and more expensive.

PoS can be a better option for the typical person(that can't afford a good number of ASICs) assuming that the PoS issuance stays the same and that the price of that token stays the same or goes higher. Well, as we all know, most PoS coins/tokens are on a downtrend if you zoom-out the charts.

Yeah! This is why I have said is more profitable the POW mining. But you know, any profit is better than nothing.

  • Name reservation: i think it would be perfectly fine to reserve your name (your real name or business name), even if you don't use the account... Just to avoid scammers to use your name to scam others

This is a good point for having a second account in here. Understandable.
7  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which VPN to pick? on: March 03, 2020, 08:13:10 AM
i use ProtonVPN.

Did you read the last few posts?
Please read the last 2 pages and then give your opinion-suggestion about what OP should use.
Try to post multiple options for him or her, don't do the same mistake I did unless you are very sure the VPN you suggested is a trusted one.
8  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Having secondary/multiple accounts purpose is..? on: March 03, 2020, 08:03:47 AM
One of the most important reason why people have multiple account is the fear of bring banned from the forum
Secondary, I learnt that some hunters in the forum focused  focus their main accounts in helping and contributeing
To the growth of the forum. This can be trance down to say that most most people having multiple account is
1. Bounty Huntering Purposes
2. For Scamming purposes
3. For Forum Growth
4. For Business purposes ( i.e Sell them off to make money )
5. Fear of being Banned while participating in Campaign

1. Bounty Huntering Purposes
This I got it. Is understandable, if you want to join more bounty providers.

2. For Scamming purposes
I see. I agree that not everyone on the planet is a good person.

3. For Forum Growth
Well personally I think the forum is big enough, it doesn't need alts to grow activity, not anymore.

4. For Business purposes ( i.e Sell them off to make money )
Got it. I did not think of this purpose.

5. Fear of being Banned while participating in Campaign
I think if will get ban on one account, you will get on the second one too because you will do the same mistake, sooner or later.

dkbit98 might a little bit trigger happy on giving you a feedback but seeing how the thread plays out it was wrong for you to suggest a free kind of VPN when the OP is already open for suggestions for paid ones since he is already using NordVPN which is a paid VPN. The replies from you on that thread were all correct everything about Free VPNs being a spyware is all true since the data you are inputting during the use of their service is being monetize by them, they won't really be a free service without any kind of catch at the end. My advice is make this mistake as some kind of lesson that you just don't suggest any kind of service just because you are using them, you must make sure that they are reliable and secure for other users so that you won't look like someone who is just promoting a service.

I will follow your advice, even if I don't like this.
Why I don't like this? Well I thought this forum is about sharing experiences and knowledge, without the need to guarantee for what others made/did (in this case the VPN software).

P.S. What mistake?

Thanks for the kind answers guys, I didn't expected this amount of replies. Smiley
Now this makes sense (kind of..) of having more accounts, if you use the forum for more than a talk (talk politics, sell goods, participate in multiple campaigns, use of mobile bitcointalk, etc).
If I had more sMerits I would have merited all, but since I had only had one I merited the 1st one who replied, who happened to have the less merits, so I think he needed it the most.
Thanks again!

Hi everyone!
Like is stated on the title.. I have a few questions about the benefit/allowance of having multi-accounts on the forum, since I saw this is allowed.
What is the purpose of having multiple accounts (alt/alts) on this forum?
And why is this allowed in the first place? I find it kind of weird.. at least.
12  Other / Meta / Re: (Un)official pages that store forum data on: February 24, 2020, 11:10:29 AM
Nice and useful thread, gg!
I have few questions since is the first time I see "auto-banned" so what this means since I see is the same thread as "nuked".
How can someone "auto-ban" himself and why he or she would want to do this in the first place?

What is raw data and what is used for? Do we regular user need it or can we make use of it?
13  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are newbies persecuted on this forum? on: February 24, 2020, 10:52:20 AM
Let's see if we can turn him into a real Bitcointalk user Smiley

Let's see...
Thanks for the Merits, I don't think this thread deserved any merits, but I think is just as an encouragement move.
14  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Important Point of Earning Merit on: February 21, 2020, 07:59:34 PM
You are really an weird case.

You have zero merits, and you put so much effort in your post. There is no plagiarism as long as I could find.

Then I checked your post history, you have only bounty reports in your history.

Why don't you try to act more naturally here? Try to engage in some discussion,  and contribute to it.
Your post has zero content... although I would like to give you some merits, this is not the way imo.

Everything you said is repeated all over the forum, and the merit system was implemented so that users who are solely bounty hunters could not rank up. Which is your case.

Looking at the size of the forum (in terms of users) I think is very difficult not to repeat what other members said.
How I figured out is a big user base forum? If I look at the threads started, I see they get a lot of replies very quickly, this means is a lot of activity and a lot of users around (online).
Everyone have something to say, everyone wants to contribute but since there are a lot of users, you will find it difficult to find a subject it wasn't discussed already. Everything you need to know you can find using search.

But I agree the merit subject is everywhere. If you search for it, you'll get 1000 results Cheesy

4) I don't know if the product is a "shit" product or not. That's why I said moonyguy to try more and pick one he likes.
Even if you are not getting paid to promote this "free VPN" extension OR you are not related to them, keep in mind that ANY free VPN/proxy is a spyware. They need to pay their servers, right? If you don't pay for the product, you are the product.

Why would you advertise something like this? This doesn't necessarily mean you deserve a negative trust right away, BUT it is kinda shady (also considering it was your first post).

I understand what you mean, but I didn't said is free.
OK, I don't want to talk anymore and get into details, it will be considered I continue promoting that VPN.
16  Economy / Reputation / Re: Are newbies persecuted on this forum? on: February 21, 2020, 07:30:28 PM
1st post ever in bitcointalk forum:
I use Brave extension (chromium based) SetupVPN which is very easy to use and reliable.
I do not promote any product

Very easy
You are just a fake newbie, and you are not being persecuted, just NOT trusted by me.
http://archive.ph/iZHsh

Trust feedback is not permanent, and it can change...in future.

Like The Pharmacist said that thread poped into my eyes because it was at the top of Beginers & Help section. I have nothing to do with the thread initiator - you can ask an admin to check our IP - since ironically (if we look at the subject we duscuss) I don't use VPN to connect to this forum.

About:
"When asked what VPN to use in that topic I posted my answer with multiple reviews and comparisons.
What triggered me to give feedback to this KID is that after me and  o_e_l_e_o o
said specific bad things  regarding that VPN, KID registers and pops up again with same 'reliable' VPN recommendation."

I didn't read the whole thread discussion, I didn't know you said is a bad VPN, I just answered the question.

To BubbleButtBabe
"What happens if you get a negative trust? You can post messages and read but not sell items ?"

I don't trade anything in here, but I don't like when someone puts the tag: "not trusted shitVPN promoter" without any proof, just because he feels it.

17  Economy / Reputation / Are newbies persecuted on this forum? on: February 21, 2020, 10:06:17 AM
Yesterday I joined the forum, and after 1 post I got negative trust just because someone don't trust me.
How can someone say "I don't trust you!" after one post and accuse you that you are promoting a product?

I use Brave extension (chromium based) SetupVPN which is very easy to use and reliable.
Just try multiple VPN providers and choose one that fits your needs.

The thread name is: Which VPN to pick?  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5225792.0

18  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which VPN to pick? on: February 21, 2020, 09:55:07 AM
It is obvious why I gave you negative trust - because I do NOT trust you and because you are promoting shit product and because you created brand new account just for that purpose.

1) I do not promote any product, I posted what I use answering the thread initiator question.
2) How can you trust or not someone if you don't know him? Just because you saw 1 post of him?
3) As for the brand new account, maybe because I am new to this forum.
4) I don't know if the product is a "shit" product or not. That's why I said moonyguy to try more and pick one he likes.
19  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which VPN to pick? on: February 21, 2020, 09:39:30 AM
Sure we can just 'trust' you a brand new promoter of shitVPN extension that spy and track your every move Lips sealed

I don't know what you mean by "spy and track". And if the extension is doing this, is not my fault.
Also I don't know why you gave me negative trust, just because I am newbie? I just answered the moonyguy's question.
