Good opensource project. Worth following.
2  Economy / Digital goods / Re: MobiDAX: World's First Cross-Platform Exchange Software - iOS - Android - Web on: August 11, 2020, 03:56:41 PM
Cross platform is kind of useless for exchange software installed in one location - unless you developed this for resale?

Thanks for you comment. Let me explain..

Cross-Platform is very useful to exchange owners who do not want to maintain multiple code bases to maintain, upgrade, add features and 3rd party customization to their existing cross-platform properties. What is the alternative? Maintain 1 code base for Web, another for iOS App and another for Android.

Our software unifies all in a single code base.

Single Back-end + Single Cross Platform Front-end code base.

Hope this makes sense..

Otherwise, we are a software development company and in our business application we resell the software.

3  Economy / Digital goods / MobiDAX: World's First Cross-Platform Exchange SAAS - iOS - Android - Web on: August 11, 2020, 12:01:23 PM
MobiDAX.io - World's First Cross-Platform Exchange Platform SAAS for trading Fiat, Cryptocurrencies and other forms of Digital Assets, is proud to announce an innovative approach for deploying, customizing and maintaining Exchange Platform Services.

Today’s marketplace for Asset Exchange Platform SAAS, is split between two optional services - White Label and Custom Software Solutions. As the market matures and regulatory requirements are defined by local governments, White Label go-to-market costs, monthly fees and customization limitations, are causing this segment to lose ground in favor of the flexibility offered by Custom Software Solutions.

On the same hand, similar to White Labels, Custom Software Solutions are code centric to individual platforms and devices, such as Web, iOS, Android and Desktop applications. This decentralization of code base, has a direct impact on the costs associated with provisioning these financial services to the end user. Unsustainable overhead from employing an extensive development team for deployment, customization and maintenance, limits this segment of business providers from being truly Cross-Platform and satisfying the demand of a wider user base.

What does this mean?

Most exchanges start a web based platform with development costs ranging from $50,000 to $250,000, without accounting for hosting, upgrades and maintenance. At a later stage, these businesses start developing mobile applications for either iOS or Android, with a development overhead of roughly $25,000-$50,000 per platform. Considering the costs of development, maintenance and upgrading the code base across platforms, hardly any Exchange Platform made it Desktop Application. While most never have their business represented in Google Play or Apple Markets.

MobiDAX SAAS Solution is here to overcome these challenges. Here is how:

Developed using Google’s Flutter Framework and Dart Programming Language, MobiDAX supports Web, iOS, Android and Desktop Applications from a single code base. Single code base to deploy, customize and maintain cross-platform functionality across all devices, from desktop computers to tablets and mobile devices. MobiDAX eliminates the necessity to support multiple code-bases to support Cross-Platform Services. With MobiDAX, your business has the liberty of decreasing the size of the development team needed for customization, upkeep and maintenance, directly impacting operational costs.

MobiDAX is the only Cross-Platform Digital Asset Exchange Platform SAAS, solving real issues for the modern Financial Services Industry.

Here are some other MobiDAX highlights worthy consideration:

- MobiDAX offers Start-up options for lightweight deployments but easily scales to Enterprise demand.
- MobiDAX can be deployed in less than 1 week, with some of the most popular cryptocurrencies and Ethereum/ERC20 support.
- Add unlimited ERC20 Tokens directly from the Admin Panel.
- Microservice infrastructure makes MobiDAX customization friendly. Individualized services from Front, to Back-end components are practically begging for customization.
- Advanced API management powered by a custom implementation of GraphQL, allows simplified addition of 3rd Party Services and data management from a single query interface.
- Dual layer accounting in native Opensource based Trade Matching Engine (Peatio) for increased Security.
- Comprehensive Admin Panel for configuring and managing: Blockchain nodes, currencies, ERC20 Tokens, KYC, markets, fees, wallets and user transactions.
- Time-tested Opensource Back-end Components supporting many of the Top100 Coinmarketcap listed Exchanges and a lot more down the ladder and unlisted Exchanges.
- Advanced Security Features enhanced with microservice infrastructure as code, Opensource Back-end and native cloud infrastructure.

MobiDAX - Built by a team with nearly 4 years of experience specializing in developing Digital Asset Exchange Platforms. Today, MobiDAX.io leads the evolution of deploying, customizing and maintaining Cryptocurrency, Fiat and Digital Asset Exchange Platforms.

Why would you have to install it yourself? If it's open source why not share the code to be reviewed, could become a community powered exchange.

It's already Opensource and public. Here's the link to the project: https://github.com/openware/peatio

But... The project is an ongoing development, and it's a micro-service infrastructure composed of a ton of moving components and I've seen a lot of people over the past 3 years trying and going gray figuring out how to successfully deploy.. Here's our development group, feel free to join and browse history since we forked from original Peatio 3+ years ago: t.me/peatio

We have our own functional version with stable components: https://demo.tunex.io/trading/ethusd (never bleeding edge)

With all the moving parts it isn't easy to do the deployment, so we're doing a Giveaway for 1 lucky company, and in return we will put together an educational course on how to work with the software.

Hope this makes sense  Smiley

Maybe instead of just saying that you have developed "iOS apps" you should at least also say what their names are so that the members especially the OP will know what you have really developed. Not only will it save us time but it will also help what you are pitching him. Instead of just backing it up with your blog post what you should include is the project portfolio you have which will also be helpful. I'm just saying this because most the low ranking members here ranging from jr. members to newbies in the project development always try to offer their service but what they forget is to post their credentials with their previous works backing them up.

Look I appreciate your advice and that I'm only a junior member here, but I'm literally one of the first people worldwide who have successfully started iOS apps development professionally and we've built hundreds of apps literally, some banking apps for Barclays, TCS, multiple apps for Hollywood studios accompanying top movie releases such as Avatar etc, a number of healthcare and telemedicine apps, Liverpool FC and Man City FC fan apps etc, gaming (iCombat etc), multiple featured by Apple in some demonstrated in WWDC events. There isn't much point to list all of them and some are protected by NDA. Will be happy to share more details with clients and there is no point to bore others with details here.

Not really focused on pitching someone here, it just so happened that I've checked this forum, not doing it every day, more like once every 2-3 weeks and I saw someone looking for help on their project which matches exactly my personal and my company expertise, so decided to provide some details to help them potentially, and if this leads to a great client - developer match, isn't this what topic starter was looking for?

I spoke with this team. These guys are legit and capable to do the required work. Fast to provide feedback and the only team who spoke the same language as us and our requirements.

We picked a different team for the project mainly because of location. Our client has a team in Ukraine managed by Cicklum.com and it made more sense for them to pick another team in the same city/country/closer time zone.

In any case, we are thankful for the time their CEO, Taras Filatov (https://www.linkedin.com/in/tarasfilatov/) dedicated to our conversation and understanding our requirements.

SUMMARY: After extensive review of available services and providers, we decided to hire Mobidax.io.

I don't want to knock most of the posts in this thread, but everyone I've talked to here, and you know who you are, were offering sub-par applications, where unable to clearly define architecture or explain what would be used to manage exchange wallets and interact with Blockchains. Prices where readily available and to me that is a HUGE warning sign that leads to unmanageable software.

Others were White Label solutions and code ownership is not an option, but as I state in the original post, ability to own the source code for the application is a business requirement.

The team we went with are building our application using Flutter (https://flutter.dev) for our Front-end, GraphQL (https://graphql.org) for API Management and opensource Back-end Peatio - Wallet/Blockchain Management (https://github.com/openware/peatio) and Barong - KYC + Auth0 (https://github.com/openware/barong) in a micro-service infrastructure deployed on Docker Swarm (Later Kubernetes - for hybrid cloud/baremetal solution).

Thank you everyone for the advice and for helping us find the solution we were looking for!

I found a couple[1][2] using GoodFirms. Looking at their websites, they should be able to build you an exchange for both web and phones.

I haven't used either of them though, so I suggest you do more research and not count on the reviews on the links below (as they can be fake).

[1] https://www.goodfirms.co/company/sodio-technologies-pvt-ltd
[2] https://www.goodfirms.co/company/bitdeal

Ok, so I think it is fair to share my findings with this provider:

Company: https://www.bitdeal.net(https://www.goodfirms.co/company/bitdeal)
1. They are based out of India. Their site is old schoolish.. But I've worked with really good Indian teams with worst websites. (Don't judge a book by its cover))))
2. They have great customer services and very responsive sales reps who more or less understand tech (maybe sometimes dumb it down to sell you their product)
3. They have a LinkedIn presence and 3 different team members connected to my LinkedIn within the first hour of communication

Mobile Product: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.application.bdamx&hl=en
1. 5 reviews / 100+ downloads
2. I didn't download the app
3. Programming languages/frameworks:
- Android - Kotlin
- iOS  - Swift
then they started saying things that did not make sense:
- Ours is frontend - HTML and CSS  Huh Roll Eyes Cry
- Backend - PHP, Laravel (website)  Roll Eyes
- Trade matching engine - PHP  Shocked
- Deployment will be based on your preferable server architecture ...
4. Price:
- Android - 5000 USD
- Ios        - 6000 USD
5. The application is a monolith with built in KYC. I was told that they can add API and multiple KYC providers for different regions, but I doubt it.

I thanked them for their time and information.

Summary: I think this was the needed research and it led me to a dead end.

Company: https://sodio.tech/ (https://www.goodfirms.co/company/sodio-technologies-pvt-ltd)
- Contacted, waiting on reply.

Hopefully this information helps someone in the future!

First of all I want to say thank you for the recommendation.

I had a lengthy conversation with the team's sales representative and their offering is a monolith application that is not easily customizable or scalable to handle high volume of traffic, transactions per second, addition of 3rd party services.

I will add that their Telegram support is some of the best I've seen, although technical understanding of their product is lacking in presentation and much needed details. Starting with list of features. It seems to be a monolith app, but I'm learning more as I am chatting with their super fast and friendly sales rep.

I guess for the sake of updating the community, I will write up a summary of their product. I believe it may serve a temporary purpose for someone, but certainly not a fit for an Enterprise client due to its limitations.

First of all thank you for the reply and advice. I think you will understand the dilemma we are facing after I answer your questions:

So you are looking for a developer who can build a crypto exchange for IOS and Android?
Yes. Preferably a team/company that has blockchain and mobile development experience.

Since you want it to finish in a short time I think much better to find a crypto exchange developer/expert on Upwork. Which is one of the best places to find developers who can build Crypto exchange for IOS and Android devices?
(a) Timeline, I would be ok using a white label solution, but I cannot find a single company offering such a product for mobile. Either Android or iOS.
(b) I've looked on Upwork, was one of the first places I reviewed. Here's the issue: Building from scratch is a pretty hefty development. I've interviewed more than a dozen teams and their competence level is typically limited or missing 1 or more important elements.

Also, check Fiverr I found some post who can build a crypto exchange for mobile phones. Just use a keyword "crypto exchange"
Yeah, I tried Fiverr as well. Feedback: Fiverr is just funny for this level of a request))) The competency level here is typically very narrow to something that the person offering services is very competent in doing. Certainly not building a FinTech application for what we hope will be millions of users and support over 20 cryptonodes.
13  Bitcoin / Project Development / Can anyone recommend a company for building a Crypto Exchange for iOS & Android? on: March 04, 2020, 05:47:15 PM
Hello and thank you in advance for any assistance.

We are looking for a development company that has experience in blockchain mobile development. This is what we want:

- Build a Cryptocurrency/Fiat Exchange for iOS and Android
- Support 10 independent blockchain nodes (can start from 3 and scale)
- Support ERC20
- Connect 3rd party services and bot trading with 12 exchanges via API (all exchanges are verified to have an API)
- We are ok using a white label to go to market by summer, but would like to build a solution where we can own the Intellectual Property rights to the code before the end of Summer 2020.

If you can be of assistance, please share additional information.

PS. I've done all the obvious google search leg work and spoke with development companies that come up in search results but they all seem to specialize on web applications..
