1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet Speculation Thread on: November 30, 2020, 06:57:35 PM
From recent research I did, it looks like Blocknet will be tradeable on Unsiwap soon as an erc20 token called "aBlock" That could definintely give this project a boost. It's sub 500 on CMC with amazing tech. It's a gamble I'm willing to take!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - XSN - The Next 50x Altcoin Out There? on: November 26, 2020, 04:18:28 PM
After this recent announcement, a 100x is possible as well.

Uniswap is extremely popular, but trading isn't feeless, or instant. Stakenet's DEX will be Uniswap on steroids, no kidding. Gained 20%+ over night.. Seems to keep its momentum.

I wish I could have bought more of that dip last week.

It dipped down below 600 satoshi for a brief moment. I didn't catch the bottom, got in around 620, and in the green currently. As soon as I saw a better exchange for this project I decided to get in, haha  Grin
3  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Which DEX Do You Trade On? on: November 24, 2020, 06:02:52 PM
Of course it's no surprise that the OP is shilling their own exchange and having a nice time getting some customers there. For people reading this my suggestion is not to go for a newly launched site because of the possibility of a scam exchange and work with the older already known exchanges.

Still these topics often pop up in this section and it is usually not a good decision to move from one exchange to another without having any concrete reason of doing so.

Shilling my own exchange? LOL

This was the FIRST DEX on the market, made by Blocknet. I'm not the owner, nobody "owns" a DEX, get your facts straight.
I don't know why they use WHOIS protection, guess it's because they want to avoid government take downs perhaps? I don't know.

XLitewallet is just a multi currency wallet they build to integrate their DEX and make it easier to use.

Uniswap is trash, as you can't trade BTC there, unless you trade it wrapped, which is lame. (Just my 2 cents though).

I was looking for alternatives to Blocknet, and will look into Bisq, even though it's not 100% decentralized, same as Binance "DEX" isn't as all it's nodes is owned and controlled by Binance, yeah.. That's not decentralized, lmao.

Looked into Nash as well, but in their terms and conditions they state that they can enforce KYC if they want to, which is why I'm staying away from that one.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: November 24, 2020, 04:29:59 PM
It honestly wouldn't surprise me one bit if we see $100 transaction fees on the BTC network, as it cannot scale at all.

Ethereum seems to be experiencing the same thing. Stakenet seems like a promising solution - If they can pull it off
5  Economy / Exchanges / Which DEX Do You Trade On? on: November 23, 2020, 07:39:41 PM
I've been playing around with DEX's as of lately. Recently noticed I can't trade BTC or any other coins on the majority of the DEX's out there, unless I trade "wrapped" assets, which is pretty counter productive in my world.

Played around with Blocknet's DEX platform, but found it annoying to download each chain in order to connect to their DEX, they are however implementing it into a multi currency wallet for faster, and more convenient trading, especially for newbies, which is pretty cool I guess. Looks like this: https://xlitewallet.com/

What else do you guys recommend? I do trade on centralized exchanges every once in awhile, but I fear exchange hacks, and want to remain safe at all times.

Thanks for your help!  Smiley

Blocknet didn't really gain any momentum like the rest of the alt's as of recently. Low caps doesn't usually do that until the big ones have moved up, as we saw in 2017.

I wonder if BLOCK will return to ATH's, it's a big of a gamble, but as they say.

High risk - High Reward

At least it's stakeable though, haha

26% gains today. Not bad.

The recent news seems to be what everyone invested in XSN has been waiting for.

Exchange news
News on Ethereum integration
DEX stats page
Simple Swap progress

Best performer in my portfolio for today, wish I bought more when it dipped a few days ago.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet solving Ethereums Centralized Data Protocol - Infura on: November 21, 2020, 01:53:01 PM
Infura seems like a very bad setup for Ethereum. Never been aware of this, and made me curious about Blocknet, which I remember from back in early 2018. Did a quick glance at it, but never really paid too much attention to the project.

Thanks for sharing this useful info, time to do some research!  Grin

If Infura is so bad, why does ETH rely so much on it? Seems fucking dumb, guess nobody cares, lol.  Huh

I wonder if Blocknet will ever fix this, if they do this project will 500x in price over night, haha  Cheesy

The vast minority of Ethereum users have any ideas of how it works, let alone what Infura really is.

Most people is investing to get rich quick these days. It's all that matters, profit.

Blocknet node owners could make some serious money off of the traffic from Ethereum, just need to be integrated on sites like Metamask etc.

Blocknet's XLite wallet: https://xlitewallet.com/

Will definitely boost the overall use of the Blocknet DEX, which is one of the only DEX's out there with BTC and LTC trading pairs.

There's a pretty good incentive to hold a service node if the volume picks up, making BLOCK even more attractive from an investors point of view.
The future looks interesting - I wonder when people will put their attention towards promising ALT's.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet (XSN) The KING of DEFI - Scaling solution for BTC and ETH on: November 18, 2020, 06:15:08 AM
This project I got it wrong from the beginning and it painful after I understand better the tech. There are many scaling solutions on Ethereum now but Stakenet is one of those hat stand out for me, all they need is one successful Dapp on Stakenet then that would be the beginning of greater things to come

Instant BTC and ETH transactions is being stress tested using Stakenet's DEX platform, with little to no problems. More than 100k in volume over the past week, which is pretty impressive.

Please tell me what scaling solutions for Ethereum you like? The Raiden Network (similar to the Lightning Network) is what is being used on Stakenet's DEX platform, which seems to work pretty smoothly so far!

As far as I know there's no other scaling solution a part from the Raiden Network. Ethereum 2.0 should fix a lot of the current issues though, but it's been delayed so many times already, haha.

I'll definitely do some research on this project, seems like a good one.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Instant BTC + ETH Trading Made Possible By Stakenet - XSN on: November 18, 2020, 06:05:23 AM
Never really heard about this project before, but sounds pretty promising. Have they made successful ETH swaps on The Raiden Network yet? That's all I want to know  Cheesy
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet hitting $1 - Doable? on: November 18, 2020, 05:58:40 AM
There are multiple threads about Stakenet (mostly by the same 6 BCT members) that have plenty of info:

it's currently ranked at 443 according to coinmarketcap: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/stakenet/

Coinmarketcap doesn't list coins by marketcap, it's a fucking joke. Use Coingecko instead

https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/stakenet

Rank 336.
