What do you think, will pump? At developers of 10% of tokens, they are directly interested in increase of the price. I will participate in the ICO.

Exactly! I don't see any reasons to doubt in this project. Division 20 % among investors and team - this is an argument.Their tokens will be frozen for a year, it means that the crew believes in development and growth as you noticed.
I would like to participate in ICO. It's worth it, guys! You'll kick yourself for this! Can you see? Nobody believed in many projects but they are succeed...

admin, please give me  an answer for question about proxy servers
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Ziber — The First Blockchain mobile operator. on: July 19, 2017, 08:45:17 PM
which way will the program sort out the calls through the proxy servers?

Optimal calls algorithms are prescribed. Rule settings. The call will be either free (for the owner of the phone) or cost very little

sorry, but I mean how the program will choose exactly my proxy server among a huge amount of others?
is it possible that the calls will go through me more rare than through others?

5  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S3 Discussion and Support Thread. on: August 27, 2014, 03:53:15 PM
I woke up this morning to a cold quiet house. All S3s had stopped mining.

I can see they temporarily went to both back up pools in succession but they didn't stay there long. Internet was up but they wouldn’t start hashing after several reboots and  switching pools around.

All other devices including my desktop which is wired to the router (same as s3s) were connected to the internet and working fine.

I then rebooted the modem, router and then the S3s and they started hashing. I saw something earlier about not having the same order for the pools but that just seems like voodoo (no offense).

Does anyone know why this would happen?

Time Warner Cable Internet was down this AM and spotty coming up... do you have TWC?

I agree.  An undervolted S1 getting 140 gh/s is closer in power efficiency to the S3, but the net pickup of an upgrade kit is only 313 gh/s...for .46 BTC 37 days out.  I'll pass.
7  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Announcement: Bitmain launches AntMiner solution, 0.68 J/GH on chip on: August 13, 2014, 04:22:27 PM
I'm disappointed by the upgrade kit. Since you're replacing the boards, you're only getting ~273 additional GH/s for .46 BTC. Yes, it will be more efficient, so there's that.

The pricing does make you scratch your head when batch 1 miners sold weeks ago for .692 BTC ( .75 BTC after 7.7% discount)  Yes, I know BTC was higher then....

Received B3 hashing away normally, but never received B2   Cry Cry Cry , emailed bitmain but only thing so far is saying their complaining to UPS ... but still nothing, losing so much  Cry Cry Cry

- Tracking # : 1ZR78990D957302078

WHY ME!

That is the worst UPS tracking history I have ever seen.  So sorry!

"Just trying to understand why bother?"

Without bitcoin miners, bitcoin dies.  Transactions are not processed. Everything you're holding becomes worthless.   That's why we bother.

Running about 8.2% under spec after nearly a day, not 7.7%

Juan,
Are you populating 2 or 4 PCIe with that setup?

No shipping yet per UPS reference number tracking.

From my side, I was one of the first ones to purchase within a few minutes for Batch 1 but do not see a shipping update.

I second that.

This makes absolutely no sense.

So basically you are going to exclude people randomly according to what you consider a "good deal"?

Will you be trashing the entire "group buy" when the final price ends up more than $3800/sp30?

Your estimations are so far from reality why should you decide how many units the group buys? (production costs of an sp30 are probably more than $2000)

Anyways if you do manage to negotiate the price down to $0 per sp30 count me in for 200.
Randomly? OMG...
Have you really thought about that?
Or I have not explained well, or you have misunderstood me.

This is worse than explain that is 'capitalism' in Venezuela...

The group decides (not only I) how many units to buy; based on strong criteria, such as Difficulty or some than I'll explain.

Many buyers have told me (invented numbers for this example):
"if the value is 5000$ I want 1 unit.
if the value is  2500$ I want 2.
if the value is 1000$ I want 5."

Someone has to spend around 5k, but fixed costs are diferente (delivery cost per unit, VAT/taxes, etc).

Due to the amount to units is directly proportional to the final price.

Well, and now value Vs Price:
The final price (value) of any miner is not define by the production cost of the product. The final price (value)  of SP-30 is due to the ROI and  profitability.

When a miner is not profitable, it stops producing. But the production cost is the same.
Price is the money that you pay for something (albeit junk).
Value is what I'm willing to pay for it (considering the ROI and profiability).

The value per unit is what I am negotiating.

I hope I explained it right this time : )

So how much are these things going to cost?

Doing the math on the compensation offer...

Assume you bought 2 S3s from Batch 1  .75 BTC x 2 = 1.5 BTC

A refund of 7.7% = .1155 BTC

A coupon for 10% off of your next purchase of 2 miners at the current purchase price of .725 BTC each = (.725 * 2)(.1)= .145 BTC

Net difference is .145 - .1155 = .0295 BTC, or about $18.29.

That's only getting a $9 per miner bonus on a future order, not knowing at this point how future batches will hash.

Perhaps the 10% off coupon will apply to an unlimited number of miners on your future order, in which case the coupon will be of greater value.  Or maybe it won't have an expiration and you could use it when it becomes of maximum value.  But to me, it seems like money in hand is the better option.

Money in hand is the smarter option, but I'm such a sucker for coupons. It was such a brilliant move on Bitmains part, though.

but wasnt it a 10% coupon of the total amount you payed for batch 1,2 or 3?

Even if it is, you're still only looking at a $10.69 bonus per future miner ordered.

OR if the 10% coupon means 10% credit based on what you already spent =.15 BTC

Net difference is .145 - .1155 = .0295 BTC (or .15 - .1155 = .0345 BTC)  or about $18.29 (or $21.39)

That's only getting a $9 - $11 per miner bonus for rolling the dice on a future order, not knowing at this point how future S3 batches will hash, what the miner price will be, or impending difficulty jumps.

To me, it seems like money in hand is the better option.

Another compensation idea would be $600 off of an S2 and then Bitmain could clear out his inventory and people could get shipments of those in 48 hours...just a thought.

According to SPTech, I hope to set the final price on July 15 based on the difficulty of the moment.

I do not want to waiting more for processing our order to avoid delays in our units.

Sweetness!!!
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANN: BITMAIN has Tested Its 28nm Bitcoin Mining Chip BM1382 on: July 11, 2014, 10:17:47 PM
BITMAIN didn't start shipping from 10th as promised.
New extended shipping promise between 10 and 14 running.
Two days passed after 10th 2 more days left. Pressure mounts.
If 14th is crossed BTC0.75/S3 will effectively be over BTC1.

They didn't promise to ship on the 10th...they promised to ship some time between the 10th and 20th.
They have another 9 days before they've broken any promises...

Consider the factor they where early shippers.
At-least they should have started shipping on 10th.
That's what we are expecting from the BitMainTech.
No pre-orders were their first quality, support the second.

It was initially announced to start between 10th and 20th, later it was narrowed down to around 14th, which is a nice bonus if that happens. If anyone had any other expectations that's not Bitmain's fault, I think they communicated the dates very clearly. Don't try to read between the lines if there's nothing there.

Ordered 90 seconds after product launch on June 30...no shipping yet, but agree completely.

That sounds pretty fair and this method is called "Escrow" ? Well it would be pretty neat then and I can ask my bank to lend me some money Cheesy

For lots of reasons, I wouldn't borrow money to buy miners.
