1  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2024/25 Season on: August 06, 2024, 11:47:46 PM

In fact, with the current squad Real Madrid has, a team that will defeat them has to work really hard and also be a lucky team like them. Even for next season, Real Madrid is the most favorable team to win the Champions League. They have the best squad currently in the world of football.
Barcelona, Girona and Atletico Madrid are the only opponents that can pull threat for the club, it's definitely going to be really hectic for Los Blancos but they always succeed in all levels. Real Madrid is the best club in the European football. They're the best among the best, Florentino Pérez and Carlo Ancelotti made it really possible for the players. Next season, no stress for Real Madrid, they've stuck the necessities and the players needed, they're favorite to win treble next season.

Why you guys are being concerned about next season Champions League, I am more concerned about the Laliga and the kind of intimidation that will be in the league. I really wished N.Williams joined forces with Jamal and others in Barcelona to give a better competition and resistance to Real Madrid.

As for champions league, I'm not afraid because it's a tournament of home and away(oh no, it has been changed). Hmmm let's see what the new season has for us.

Again, lists of other big Atletico Madrid Rumours about signings:

Source: Atlético de Madrid rumour

more lists again?
If the list like,bit should be endless, what I think ATM needs is change of coach. Even if Simeone has been good, but the team needs a new coach;
New idea;
New challenge;
New anxiety;
New trials;
New energy and
New competition.
The arrival of a new person has many things to change, if not same old vibe which looks so energetic will remain without results and gradually they will not even be at the top 4 of the Laliga.
3  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2024/2025 on: August 06, 2024, 11:07:37 PM
I'm not sure if this is an important match or not what is clear is don't be too confident on one side. Indeed, Manchester City deserves to be the favorite to win because they have a better history and statistics it's just that sometimes the unexpected can happen for example they play young or new players well this can mess up our predictions so it's better to wait a few hours before the match starts to see the starting lineup. By the way so far the sportsbooks Stake.com prefer Manchester City and both teams to score YES and over goals are still the favorites to place bets, I don't think both teams think about playing defensively meaning the fight will go on until the last minute and let's wait for the next 4 days.

City won't play purely defensively but it could happen that they control the ball all game (without trying to take risks, playing "for sure"), then United will have big problems to score a goal. So I'm not at all confident in BTTS. I'll probably just place a simple bet on City, as it will be a normal game (and not a game where City players have not had time to sober up from drinking in honor of the title) as I expect them to justify their status as favorites.
It will simply be a City match... I would say that Manchester United moral for the pre-season has been calmed by injuries of both their old and newly signed players. So, I do not expect them to face Manchester City with alot of energy in order not to sustain more injuries before season will start.

However it is community shield which doesn't have much importance but yet it is a derby match and so we expect it to have the derby weight. So, it will still be an interesting match and probably a win for the citizens.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you already happy if you can double your money, or do you want more? on: August 03, 2024, 03:37:10 PM
I am interested to know your personal perspective and experience as well. I understand that as gamblers, we have different financial statuses in life. Some gamble for fun, while others are very serious about it. Can you relate to the question and answer it? How realistic is your target profit when gambling? Are you already happy with a 100% return, or do you want a 1000% return? Please use figures in your explanation so we can understand it better.
This is a very good question because most gamblers are not determined on what they consider as a good win. Someone will gamble with $2 and wins $5 and it won't be like a good win for them. They just want to win $200 with $5 before it will be considered a good win. This is the beginning of failure in gambling. If gamblers will take profits and be happy as traders do, many people will be having good wins in gambling than losses.
I am personally having a second thought because of this thread, maybe I'll start going by percentage win and be happy even if it's 10% profit.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't like the idea of governments holding millions of Bitcoins. on: August 03, 2024, 02:57:41 PM

What do you think? I added a poll also with an intermediate scenario like the one announced by Trump, which would lead to a couple of hundred thousands of BTC hold by states, but not millions.
It seems I came to this party late but I'll still give my contribution;
  • The poll or our thoughts changes nothing . We should understand that bitcoin is decentralized. So, everyone and including the government can buy as much as they want to hold
  • We do not have the power to detect for any government what they want to do with their seized BTC (Whether to keep or resell)
  • All we need do as individuals is to buy as much as we can and keep for ourselves and watch how the game will play out.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future End of BTC Rising and Falling? on: August 03, 2024, 02:37:10 PM
1. If Bitcoin is globally accepted by the masses, governments, and other sectors to be allowed for all kinds of transactions.
Some years back we were talking about global adoption of bitcoin like a big thing that will never happen or will take decades to happen. But today global adoption is here, ETF approval opened the door.

2. If there exists no longer any oppositional speech or attack from the influential men, regulatory bodies of any kind or web3 products.
There's no technology or innovation without criticism, so we shouldn't expect that there will be a time when everyone will sing praises of Bitcoin

3. If there is no longer any Bitcoin halving.
Is halving preventing adoption of bitcoin? I can say that halving is even playing a major role in adoption because it introduces the bull run and is a major factor of introducing newbies to the industry.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: August 03, 2024, 02:08:05 PM
I have read a post in this forum where someone was trying to capture the advantages of gambling to the society. I read carefully to understand the advantages and it seems I was disappointed in the end. I saw reasons like;
Gambling Helps us to have fun;
And the rest bla bla of a thing. So, the menace gambling has caused the society is large and cannot match the purported good they are talking about.

Yup. As much as gambling is bad, it still has some good sides especially if 1 out of every 100-1000 gamblers make life changing money.

...I won't say the net outcome for gambling is net negative because despite all of its bad sides, gambling has change some lies lives.

Mate, I have to disagree with you because you approached the matter in perspective aspect and not wholistic. What do I mean? You alleged that gambling had made some people break through poverty. This is true and not whole true. In order to determine the overall impact of gambling, you have to compare the number of people gambling has made to be poor and the number of people it lifted from poverty.

If there's any data available for this, I'll like to have it posted here. Gambling has made more people poor, depressed, turn criminals etc than it has made people rich. So we judge from the overall performance if gambling and not from the success of a few people.

10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lies told to cover up gambling habit on: August 01, 2024, 07:06:55 PM
I've only ever lied when holding my phone thinking I was playing a game when I was gambling, but when my wife asked what you were doing “playing Cand Rush”  Grin

You have a friend who lies almost exactly like my own friend, but he confessed to his wife he lost money on the road while driving but what happened he spent all his money playing slots, in order to protect himself then the friend said to protect himself.

Many stories are habitual to cover gambling in any way, they do this not wanting to be stressed after losing a lot in question by other members, even though this is bad behavior there are still many people doing this habit.

Not everyone might think this is a good idea but I think it's better for a gamblers to open up to their spouse about their addiction especially if it's crippling their finances... I started feeling better when I opened up to my friends about my addiction, some were kind of judgmental and some were really concerned about it, they tried to always put my check which wasn't enough, no one can look over shoulders everytime, you must be intentional with yourself about making a change, but telling those around you the truth is the first step

Some of the gamblers making up stories to tell their spouse or loved ones are not actually addicted but they are normal gamblers who did not involve their loved ones in their gambling decisions.

If I am married I will let my wife understand my gambling habit and maybe she will be my check. I'll let her know the percentage of my income allocated to gambling, such that when I want to exceed, she'll call me to order. When you are into the lying game, you have to keep lying the more in order cover up more lies.

3. csgopolygoncode (long and scary to learn).
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im new what i have to do to earn decent money ? on: August 01, 2024, 06:11:29 PM
Hi , i don't have money and no Job and my health is bad the best i can do If i borrow funds from someone can i make money with meme coins ?
I need something that i turn small money in big don't tell me about btc and others bigger coins that's not for me in my situation maximum money i can borrow from other people it could be around 100$ maybe little more but that's what i can get.

The mentality of not wanting to invest in Bitcoin and just focusing on memecoins is not going to change your financial situation. I'm not saying all memecoin are bad but they shouldn't be all your firsts priority. You can gamble on them but just know that your chances of coming out victorious are slim. Investing in Bitcoin should be the first thing that that every new investors should be doing and after gaining experience through your years in the industry then you can make better decisions on which altcoin are worth your time to gamble on or not. Driving straight to chasing altcoins isn't going to end well for you and that's experienced speaking.
That has been the mentality of newbies and most of the times, they will not understand you not take advice from anyone untill they miss bitcoin at a discounted rate. 4 yrs down the lane, they will just regret. By then all the memecoins they were obsessed with had all disappeared.

Do i have Even small change that crypto could change anything better for me  If i don't have money and don't tell me about Job it's even struggle for me to move everything takes money in this world and my health also very weak so Im not even talking about that i don't have enough food either but as i said i not kind of person who complain i go forward and try my best until Im Alive so i just explained honestly so you guys can give me advice according to my situation.

Go get a job buddy and by job I don't just mean your regular jobs that pays in fiats as getting those is becoming harder due to population crisis, you can work on yourself and make yourself hirable so companies in the crypto industry can hire you and you get paid. If you don't have a source of income, you shouldn't be investing in Bitcoin but using the money that you're getting to take care of yourself. You need to get your health in good shape before you lose your live then all hope get lost.
Anyone who doesn't have a steady source of income and yet they are day traders are making some huge mistakes. If things fall apart, it will be so disastrous. This is why it is important to first get a job, no matter how small.

More seriously, I get that some people want a weapons-grade ignore system (as in: "Please make sure that I never, ever see anything related to so-and-so.")

We don't need to see anything that is coming for a person who is annoying and disturbing for us.

I have read in meta where someone suggested that there should be a 'block' function, superior to 'ignore', which completely separates a user and someone they ignored.
But at a time, the fun of life is spying on someone you publicly ignored  Grin
14  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Legendary Member defaulted 130$ Loan [vennali] on: August 01, 2024, 05:02:34 PM
I understand your point of view but when I put forward the opinion it was based on less chances of loan defaults. Rather than close down his lending business altogether it might be better for him to raise the criteria bar in order to minimise the chances of him completely losing out as a result of loan defaults. That way the business he operates will not be lucrative as he would want it to be as loan requests would be small in number but at least more of those loans would probably be paid back.

There are only a certain number of defaults that any lender can absorb before eventually ending the loan business or being selective enough to offer occasional loans only to older respected Legendary members that have far less chances of defaulting.
Most of the respected legendary members don't borrow often, so if OP offers his services only to them, it will not be lucrative.
I quite understood your concern. We are just trying to balance between profitability and longevity of the business. Maybe I'll give him some heads-up;
  • Only lend to accounts which have been in campaign for the past 120 days
  • Lend to the accounts which have earned reasonable amount of merits (like 500 and above), excluding airdropped merits
  • If you are not sure of a particular user, make a rule that they must belong to a particular local board and have a reputable person from that local be their guarantor
  • If the person can provide evidence that they own a business or have a job outside the forum

OR use the rule;
If you are in doubt, don't approve the loan, they'll not pay.
15  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: August 01, 2024, 04:40:48 PM
Trusted casino will verify your KYC very quickly provided you have provided correct and true documents. There is no point for the casino to deny the KYC if there is no fault. Why would casino deny anyone genuine KYC and not let them play.
However, there are some scam casino who will use KYC as a tool to deny our payments. They will allow us to deposit without KYC but when it comes to withdraw they may ask for KYC and if the amount is big, they may deny the KYC without any reasons.
This is why it is always advisable to complete KYC before you play in any casino. Whenever it is related to Casino, they will only be strict during withdrawals. For the business to remain in operation, deposit must be more than withdrawal and that is why some casinos deliberately frustrate withdrawal. It is always nice to read the casino ToS as regards withdrawal and KYV before playing.
Your response reminds me of the thread I recently replied to where the guy complained that a well-known casino did not allow him to complete the KYC despite being willing to do so at the earliest time possible. This got me discouraged and I don't know the best advice to issue in this regard anymore. But truly, if a casino can allow you to complete the KYC as early as possible, it is the best thing to do to avoid a later issue.

As for the withdrawal, I think many of them are still very flexible about it, if you are not the type that wins too much or withdraws a huge amount of money, grace may still cover you to delay the KYC, otherwise, it's good you prepare for the worst. Nevertheless, I learned from you today about more deposit than withdrawal plans of casinos, well, it's certainly an unfair practice and I don't believe any serious regulator will allow that. This is why they ensure that companies are well-capitalised before beginning operation, so there is no good reason for that practice in a sane clime.
Glad to know you learn something from my post above. We learn everyday from observations and personal experiences. It is when we understand that all the casinos are there for business, whether old or new, reputable or non reputable that we will be more careful.
There has always been a recommendation to only play in reputable casinos, and if this happens, we are lessening competition in the industry which will surely go against the gamblers. If we all continue to patronize the older casinos, how will the new ones survive.
Myself, i play primarily on Rollbit because I owe them that patronage. I don't encounter any problems with them. But I also like to spare small bucks on new casinos.

Back to the KYC issue, according to margkaisa, special validations are always in place when you win big. Infact, I learnt that some casinos will start asking for account statements and more.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 31, 2024, 10:25:52 PM
Well you don't have to blame manchester united for starting with the young guy reason is because they never knew something like this is going to happen, I'm glad you know that the  possiblity of someone getting injured is something that one can not predict because is unforseen circumstances so you don't have to blame manchester united for starting with the young guy in the pre_season match.
There's no way the manager of Manchester United will be blamed for fielding Leny Yoro in a preseason friendly game because he'll have to play Yoro so he can know his abilities. Friendly games are were managers give young players the chance to show their abilities and potentials but unfortunately for the Manchester United signing, he picked up an injury that might possibly rule him out for a period of two months. No one knew he was going to be injured in that game, not even the young player himself. Hopefully he recovers quickly to rejoin the squad ahead of the new season.
Are there actually people blaming Erik Ten Hang for fielding York in a pre-season match? Do they expect him not to test the young guy's ability and make him synchronize with others and just introduce him in an official match? No one is absolutely to be blamed in an injury provided that the fitness coach approved him fit for the match.

Has Erik Ten Hang made any official statements about the injury, so that we can know how long to expect him back. Right now, I have no confidence in any Manchester United defender. It's looking as if they are all injury prone.

Worry less. The lad is not Injury prone, according to sources, he'll be out for three weeks only and should be back on the 14 of September. Right now, if they don't get de Ligt, it's clearly obvious that Manchester United will pair with Lisandro Martinez and Harry Maguire which is not a solid combination against Manchester City in the Community Shield and the Premier League opener against Fulham.
Good to know that he is not injury prone. Well, 3 weeks is such a far time for a new signing. I am praying this shouldn't impact his confidence negatively.
17  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: July 31, 2024, 10:04:34 PM
So far I have one verified gambling account only which is my Stake's account, it was not a long process since my account was verified within few hours only.
Of course the speed of the verification process will be depending on some factors, the most crucial one is the human resources on the platform who are in charge to do the verification process.
The more staffs (both in number and experience) who is handling it = the faster verification process IMO.
I have not done other KYC in other casinos so I have no idea about average speed, but I have to agree that such verification process should not be done in more than 3 working days.

Trusted casino will verify your KYC very quickly provided you have provided correct and true documents. There is no point for the casino to deny the KYC if there is no fault. Why would casino deny anyone genuine KYC and not let them play.

Welcome to the forum Ultimate poker.
I have observed that you are following the suggestions from the forum members which is a good step to establishing your casino here.
You have gotten a copper membership;
You have started a signature campaign;
You are active in your Ann thread.

I have these two advice;
  • Signature campaign doesn't give magical and instant result. Its benefit is always on the long run which is why some casinos have been running signature campaigns here nonstop for 2yrs+. So, plan your budget well and not get discouraged on the short term
  • Continue to be available here to attend to peoples complaints and questions. It builds confidence and reputation

I wish you well!

Honestly, it is painful to;
Manchester United management,
Erik Ten Hang;
Manchester United fans
And even Leny Yoro himself.
No one bargained for this and we weren't expecting it. I have never read anywhere that Yoro is an injury player. When I heard of the news of his injury, I thought it was a mere injury. I was so surprised to see this picture of him in crutches. This is disheartening to behold.
Has Erik Ten Hang made any official statements about the injury, so that we can know how long to expect him back. Right now, I have no confidence in any Manchester United defender. It's looking as if they are all injury prone.
20  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Legendary Member defaulted 130$ Loan [vennali] on: July 31, 2024, 08:19:32 PM
But looking for the buyer isn't that easy. If someone announce they sell their own account, it'll receive trust/negative feedback quickly.
I think they recieve such tags when they go about it in a fishy way. If someone in debt announces that they want to sell their account to pay the debt. And someone offers to buy the account to enable them pay the debt, I think they will only have negative feedback to indicate change of ownership.

There are only a certain number of defaults that any lender can absorb before eventually ending the loan business or being selective enough to offer occasional loans only to older respected Legendary members that have far less chances of defaulting.
