3  Economy / Service Announcements / [ANN] Tip With Bit Android App on: October 15, 2014, 07:51:02 PM
Hi,

We have been working on a tipping app with a focus on BTC.
With this app, you can send BTC as tips to any one you want to.

The App is available on Google Play for downloads immediately
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.onezerobit.tipwithbit&hl=en

The good thing about the app?
The private keys are stored on your cell phone. We have no control over it.
You will be the only person in control of your private key.

In Development
Option to encrypt your wallet: We are working on a feature to encrypt your wallet on your cell phone.

Go Ahead, download the app, use it, provide feedback, and spread the word.

Got suggestions or questions?

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: My life savings 55.25btc - in Orphaned block! on: September 15, 2014, 11:50:57 PM
I guess all you have to do is wait for sometime before it gets reverted back to the sender address. Do not loose your private key. And do not transfer such a big amount in one go. Split them if you may, also, do not send them to a single BTC address, generate multiple addresses so not all coins are in one location.
7  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Bitcoin public address and privatekey pairs on: September 15, 2014, 12:57:54 AM
Its like here is the lock and key to your bank locker....and there is only one more person who has the key.
NICE :/
8  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Let's make something entirely new on: September 12, 2014, 12:49:56 AM
Way to go, Zakh! Good idea. A piece of advice - create your own crypto coins for this!

That would be the best thing....but, it will affect adoption of the service to a great extent.

One way would be to have to CryptoCurrencies at the same time for the service and weigh the new service in BTC, would help with the adoption and with your Profit as well....makes sense?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is this the end of Bitcoin & Altcoin dream ????, Apple introduced "Apple PAY" on: September 10, 2014, 12:23:36 AM
Apple Pay will have to be scrutinized to the core, this is in light to every security issue that have been brought forth us over the past couple of years.
1. NSA PRISM
2. Recent iCloud Breach.
3. It was not more than 60days ago that a researcher pointed out a Backdoor among all Apple Devices (some claim it was a part of FCC ruling).

Keep an open mind about these, There will always be people who know more than i do.
I for one, would think twice before adding my CC to Apple Pay, at least for a couple of months, to get most of the issues sorted out.

The above issues is a section of reasons why the BTC wallets didnt take off that much...get from this what you will.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Exchanges on: September 08, 2014, 11:36:44 PM
I agree with Dexter44 ^^^....the more exchanges offering the CCY, the more it will be noticed, the more it is being noticed, the better it is for the currency and the volume....like a domino effect.

We have extended the 11BTC/USD offer by a month, and the offer now stands good till September 30th, 2014.
Take advantage of the offer while it last. Happy trading Smiley.
14  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Testnet fees? on: September 02, 2014, 10:08:03 PM
Testnet does not carry Fees, like the mainnet.

But, the verification usually takes a lot of time....I am not sure what is wrong with the Testnet Connection, that i have not been able to verify 1 TestCoin worth of transaction yet. Any experts with insight on this?
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do average people run full nodes on: September 02, 2014, 12:07:16 AM
Most people do it...for the sake of it (you should be thankful of them). And they do it to support BTC, so more people would be attracted by it.

And i am glad that they are doing it for free (i hope). That is the best part of it.
16  Economy / Services / Re: Need a Permenant Node? on: September 02, 2014, 12:00:22 AM
Can anyone let me what this is about....i am little novice in such cases.
It's basically a wallet that's always open and on a static IP so other people can connect to it to sync and possibly prevent forks.

It's for people who are coin devs or people who just want to support their favorite coin.
Thanks.

19  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase exchange BTC to USD takes about a week to show up in my bank account on: August 28, 2014, 12:02:45 AM
Bank transfers will take a little long time to transfer.

You can look for local BTC buyer/seller if you want cash quick.

BUT....DO YOUR DEALS only if you are sure.....otherwise Coinbase is a decent option, and the wait...worth it.
