3  Other / Meta / Can the Admins sent a mass voting PM to know when did people find out about BTC? on: March 31, 2024, 05:24:22 PM
So i posted this thread
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5489399.msg63824314#msg63824314

About 4th halving countdown and your stories on when did you heard about bitcoin. I was thinking for this upcoming halving, can bitcoin talk send a mass emailer or a vote option to all registered users to gauge when did they first heard about bitcoin?

I am interested in buying one. But the duties are 36% here. There might be a way. Advertise it as a smart hearter

So I was thinking if I could mod a mod that is offered on line.

I would run braiins+
I would tune the board to 30th and about 875 watts

I would use 4 noctua 3600 rpm ppm 120mm fans.

I Should have some posts on this soon. and of course some photos.

please do a 400 watts option like apollo 2 miner, bitaxe miners. Please also have a RJ45 port. Hoping your project suceeds.
Tie up with D-central for shipping

Thank you for sharing this. I wonder why the video doesn't have a million views. Everything said about Bitcoin in the video still holds true today. Two of the statements said that I wish to note here are
  • Since the invention of Bitcoin money has never been the same.
  • The value of Bitcoin doesn't go down when the Fed decides to print more money.
This is going to be my first time experiencing the Bitcoin halving as a Bitcoin holder. I am super excited about it and looking forward to it's after effects. I have caught the Bitcoin halving fever.

So we have around 1 month left for the 4th halving. Thought of creating a topic to gauge the bitcoin fever!
I first found out about BTC back in Q1 2011. I think i seriously got into it in May 2011. Dl'ed the core software on sep 30 2011.(blockchain size was around ~600mb). Got free BTC via bitcoin faucet 0.05.  Started mining in 2012 via bitminter(geforce 525m getting 12mhps). HDD crashed and i forgot until 2022 when i started serious devotion

Yeah Yeah i missed the bus even if it was in front of me. Had i lived in a country where Mt Gox supported my currency, it would have been another story.

12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: The bitaxeUltra: Open source Bitcoin miner based on the BM1366 ASIC on: January 05, 2024, 03:24:40 PM
feedback: please make a ethernet vesion. Due to privacy and security issues, i dont use wifi. Hope the bitaxe  HEX makes  it or atleast has a USB Type C so one can use a ethernet to type C adapter.

The ESP32-S3 we use in the bitaxe does not have a Ethernet MAC, so this is not an easy change. What sort of privacy and security issues do you have with WiFi?

I dont like wifi due to health issues, You can atleast have a V2 or USB type C so that users can buy their own ethernet to usb type c adapter.

Hope anyone can share the $150 coupon code via PM Grin. Here in India the custom duties are whopping 36%. With shipping and duties it is almost half of the amount.

Awaiting reply from support on e-mail since 13th December.  Cheesy
