William could you tell to us when you will finish those things, with dates please: 1. 5th level POD at CryptoAsian 2. Wallet with IRC chat, Anonymous transactions and some corrections with logo. 3. Website updates: add all changes(link of new wallets etc.) to the website. you are absent for a long time and now it time to make future plans  Wallet with IRC chat and the bug fixes is ready. Anon is still under dev. I will release the wallet with IRC meanwhile. I will get a build out this weekend for you guys waiting. |

So what's the current plan for this weeks development? Also, to me it seems the community right now is extremely small. What are the growth plans? The only major promotor of Britcoin on twitter is this gal: https://twitter.com/Pebb3lzzMy plans is to work more on anon features, the other dev was away with his family for a few days so we didn't get as much done as we would like to. Things take time unfortunately. I would like to see more press releases etc, maybe William could figure something out |

Any updates on other development? Too many things are going on We're still working on Anon, Chat feature already done. I might release a new build of the wallet for all platforms while you guys wait for Anon. |

Alright so we have implemented the core functions of the anonymity mixer, still have a long way to go, but so far everything compiles and runs just fine.  |

I don't think you understand, this is no pump and dump coin,or get rich quick scheme, in fact I don't care what the price is, it's not of importance just yet. I see this coin actually being adopted by retailers in the UK, we've all had enough of the Banksters printing the our currency into nothing, we can all see the inflation rising on everyday good and services and yet our wages are stagnant, Quantitative easing is just wealth transference. We've been forced into this fake austerity just to pay the wanksters gambling debt. The UK needs a decentralized method of making payments, away from government and private banking families like the Rothschilds. For as long as the government have to go to these private families for money then the government will always do what these private families want. What gives these private families the right to print " our" money and collect the seigniorage form the money creation? When we get our smart phone apps I know that I will be speaking to as many traders as I can find, hell, the same should go for all those on this thread from the UK too, we all need to do what we can to get the word out to as many people that will listen. +1 Couldn't said it better myself. |

We need to get the word out About Britcoin first. Guldencoin went up in value because people learned it existed. We're working hard on that, hoping to get some big media outlet publication very soon and our first merchant accepting BritCoin in Cardiff next week! People are definitely buying in right now. They are just careful to not let the volume get up high enough to get the coin on the first, second or third page. Once it gets there, others see it and start buying in and so on. Yea we're getting some good buy support, which is great. I just hope people stay patient and don't sell at the bid price!   Good to see |

How about: BRIT coin ain't no SHIT coin! Love it, but I have to question the "mass appeal" of it lol. What about: "BritCoin - British Digital Currency"? It's more professional than mine How about this one: "Decentralized currency for the British people" Or "Decentralized currency for the British masses", or "Decentralized currency for the British nation"? Hi there, I just tried to install the britcoin wallet from source on my linux mint box, but I get the following error when I compile: /home/leigh/britcoin-master/src/qt/ircmessageformatter.h:13: error: IrcMessage: No such file or directory
Is there a dependency I need?
Hey hit me up on #BritcoinUK at freenode. The source from my GIT is being pushed with new updates all the time so consider it alpha at best. There are some dependencies i have not included in the install instructions, come in chat i will help you build it if you want. Thanks for all your help installing the wallet. No problemo! |

Ok, I've finally gotten around to publishing donation wallet addresses in the OP. We would really appreciate whatever you can donate in either BritCoin or BTC, since the Brits from the premine are practically gone, spent on bounties (50k + 0.5 BTC of my own money just for multipool) and the competitions.. I've also spent a considerable amount more of my own personal coins on bounties etc. I've been putting off using pressat.co.uk to distibute our next press release due to not having the 0.3BTC fee, I paid for the last one myself. If we can get enough together to get our next press release out that would be great.
