wouldn't you mind updating the 'copyright 2015' to 2017? it looks old

Now your just exposing your incompetency. It will be easy for an experienced programmer to adapt with new code, since a lot of building blocks for a program is almost the same. PHP and Java, both have variables, if-else, loop, you name it.
Understanding code is one thing, but apprehending the context is another. It wouldn't be difficult if enough documentation provided. As I have asked the dev to create a wiki for the community to join force in development previously, only to find it fall to a non responsiveness. Look at bitcoin developer documentation for instance [1], from there, a lot of third party app like bitcoin Android Wallet may existed. sources 1- https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-documentation

Yeah, dev should put in more workers to accelerate the development process. Take a four storey building for example. Yes, 3 people can finish all the jobs, but it would take forever.
Do you have any idea how much it takes for someone who never even have been involved into crypto to learn the unfamiliar code? Because I do. I can add another guy in a team - and it will probably even speed up the process... after the guy who went through learning will teach him. Now your just exposing your incompetency. The odds of getting delisted from all exchanges is nearly zero. Cryptsy's policy is that they will not delist any coin as long as the blockchain is running smoothly. There are coins on Cryptsy which have had zero volume for months and with no active development yet they have not been delisted.
That said, to start your own real exchange and have it be professional, fast and secure would probably cost ~$100,000. That's a ridiculous and unnecessary cost at this point.
Use the limited funds for necessary things and let's put off anything which can wait simply because Bitcoin will be worth much more in the coming months. Let's not waste those 400 Bitcoins at $350 when they're likely to be worth 10+ times that in a few short months.
Imagine having well over $1 million as a development fund. That's enough to turn CraigsCoin into a top grade alt-coin.
I really love your optimism regarding the coming Bitcoin bull run!!!! I would have to disagree about future bitcoin price stated here, because I think there is no force on this planet can predict bitcoin price in the future. And what matter is that this is not my sole opinion, and is backed with quote from official website itself, "no one is in a position to predict what the future will be for Bitcoin" [1]. Even good news on certain coin did not affect its price significantly. Take ripple for example [2]. But I have no comment regarding your advice to limit fund usage in the future couple of months. sources 1- https://bitcoin.org/en/faq#can-bitcoins-become-worthless2- http://www.coindesk.com/us-banks-announce-ripple-protocol-integration/

Wow, reading up on some major scam coins of late! Just Wow! I mean I'm so happy to see that this coin is free from the typical PND crowds on twitter. As this coin continues to develop, yes, it will spark the interest of the PNDer's more and more. Heck, I'm sure Pavel has already had to deal with their countless offers to provide this and that "for a price"! My guess - he's turned them down. This is his baby and I'm happy to be a part of it. So when all you guys are worried due to the FUD, try to imagine one thing - how much money will Pavel be making just from 'ad revenue' generated from the Craigscoin website alone once this goes viral? I'm not talking ADtx fees, just ad revenue from others wanting to have their ad banners on http://list.craigscoin.info/Think about that for a moment... How many other coins will have a reason for their website to have enough traffic to generate real 'ad revenue' - very few!! With that being said - all you people who were worried that Pavel abandoned the coin because he was absent for 2-3 days need to try and grasp this concept. He has the potential to become a very rich man once this goes viral and I hope you realize he's smart enough to have already figured this out. So again, just think about that for second if you start getting that FUD thought in your head, lol! I hear Glowcoin is selling for a steal right now!! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=816294.500I think Craigscoin is still in experimental phase, just like our pioneer, Bitcoin[1]. Theoretical idea about decentralized ad sounds good, but even the dev himself could not foresee everything in advance. A lot of problem will rise during development. But sad truth about experimentation is that the outcome could be different from theory. But to accelerate experimental stage, having a development community is arguably to be a great way. resource 1- https://bitcoin.org/en/you-need-to-know

Does anybody know what rules and algorithm to create Craigscoin addresses? I'm developing third party app like https://www.bitaddress.org/ , so that Craigscoin can gain more popularity

Pavel, its nice of you to pop in here and ignore all the hard questions.
I have another question now, who are the other devs and what are they coding?
he's right, we r eager to know the team. Plus, u should at least update the official website of this coin, for use of new comer
|
|
|
Dev, I think the documentation for this coin on Github is not enough. Its better if u give a detailed explanation on the algorithm, and better if u create a wiki for technical details. Its just me, wants to develop around the coin, but find a hard time to comprehend stuff. So let make thinks easy.

From what I see, the successful website like Amazon and Ebay also act like ad posting website, even though people call it an e-commerce site. So perhaps, CraigsCoin can expand in the future, to be a blockchain commerce (b-commerce) platform, where end users do business just like with e-bay today.
And what would the advantage of a blockchain-based approach for this be? For ads, which require no physical inventory & delivery, this is a good idea. For eCommerce though I doubt it. Blockchain commerce is when u buy things that is being advertised on blockchain. And u can pay with CraigsCoin, for example. E commerce is when u buy things that is being advertised on conventional website. The advantage of blockchain ad base is that u can never be worry about your ads' visibility. Here's the scenario for conventional e-commerce's flaw; - Allen advertised Lenovo Phone on ebay with some fee - Zack from Malaysia search for Lenovo Phone on ebay - Zack never found Allen's Lenovo Phone on e-bay (possibly because e-bay play it dirty) Here's the scenario for b-commerce ; - Allen advertised Lenovo Phone on CraigsCoin with some fee - Zack from Malaysia search for Lenovo Phone on CraigsCoin - Zack will surely found Allen's Lenovo Phone on CraigsCoin

Hello, I'm trying to make CraigsCoin to gain more awareness by putting its information in coinmarketcap.com. But I need some information from dev: - URL that shows the total number of coins in real time. - URL of the coin's official logo
btw, whoever can contribute aside from dev is welcomed. thanks
I hope I might be of a help http://blockexperts.com/craig may show you the total number of coins you may also use getinfo in the wallet to get total money supply I would guess this is the official logo now since dev paid 0.5 BTC for it: appreciate for the help sir.

I think its better for the dev to maintain transparency, by not deleting any criticism. The reason is that, any thought presented here will be bias. The dev could potentially lose his trustable reputation. I think people here are smart enough to judge between fud and real thought. I've been backing the dev strongly in previous reply, but this one is different.

in russia bitcoin is forbidden. So the dev could run away with our money
what I hear is that the bitcoin restriction in russia will be retracted in 2015, plus BTC-E is based in russia
|
|
|
what I really hope is that the dev will get a recurring profit out of this project, so that he can continue to develop and innovate.
