Well someone has confidence in CRAIG  Grin

lol, that was me, just taking a speculative gamble and I don't feel like waiting for a better price given it's already so cheap.

So don't read too much in that.  I did the same thing on Cryptsy so ignore that too.  lol

Cheers!

All of the people appearing to call this coin a scam and say the dev ran away; Were you guys ICO investors like myself who are upset? Or have you come to drive the price down and buy it cheaply?

The Dev was here 3 days ago. Progress and updates have been quite slow indeed, but there are no direct indications that he abandoned the project. Perhaps he is just bad at communicating with investors and the community. Hopefully he just doesn't grasp the importance of updates and communication to the value of the project.

It's unsettling indeed, but I'm still reducing my average, honestly it's getting to a point where it would have that value even without a dev.

I have two things to say to Pavel:

1. Please use bitcointalk or twitter or reddit etc. at least a few times a week.

2. Improve the website. Wallet is not bad, staking is really nice, ad posting from the wallet works well... but the website is ugly.

you are not the original investors you dont understand how theirs feeling.
anyway ,if dev disappear like scamer , we can ask bittrex to ann devs infromation .

I want an AMA from #1 on the rich list. 2/3rd or all CRAIG  Shocked

All combined I would rank at #14  Grin

edit: #1 is probably bittrex right? That would mean hardly any of the coins are being staked!

I've been watching that amount for days. For some reason it doesn't change and I don't know why.
And yes, it would be nice to see more people staking. But you can't help that dumb people still like to let other people hold their money.

Not sure you can blame them or describe them as dumb. There are as many risks to keeping coins on your computer (most people are not tech savvy enough to do all the things needed to fully secure their computer wallets from hacks/malware). And, especially with what we've seen over the past few months, every one's afraid of getting dumped on overnight and waking up to a coin implosion in their portfolio. Can you blame people for wanting to keep their coins where they can sell them at a moment's notice without delay. These markets are not forgiving to the slow-footed.

This is a problem for a lot of POS coins. I think the only solution is the market solution - offer people much bigger interest rates that compensate for the risk, and design coins in a way (I'm not sure how) that gives people more confidence that the coin is resilient to sudden megadumps.

No Wink I'm still here, and still onto the project. Just had too much going around in "real life". Still there's not much depends on me atm - coders are coding.

There is a couple of things he could do to address those concerns but he wont.

He could show us his btc address to show us he still has the funds to develop the coin, and that he hasn't given it back to his mates.

And he could show us his craigscoin address to show us how committed he is here.

Okay, you've mentioned this idea before - now I get it. I started following CRAIG well after the ICO launch and hadn't really taken a good look at the full historical chart until recently. I still think that the trend could result from a lot of market factors that have nothing to do with the kind of scam you allege, but the long-term trend - the fact that the price has been relentlessly falling since the ICO without much relief - does make it a legitimate question whether someone(s) got a lot of free ICO they'd feel comfortable dumping on the market at any price.

This will not be so easy! But if Pavel allowed me some advice if he managed to write here at least once a day it will double the price, and if it is equally active in social media will be tripled. If sufficiently active in development ... This will triple ICO price! Smiley

I have another question now, who are the other devs and what are they coding?

Pavel,

FYI...
Interesting article on sidechains. Don't know if this can help you with future applications for the coin before it gets to far along and harder to adapt? Grin

wow that site looks horrible. Can you at least make it look like craigslist or kijiji. I would vote for kijiji.

Also can I suggest a change that would compensate investors of this coin. Something like what NETcoin is doing. Award a higher PoS interest rate based on the amount of CRAIG a person holds.

For example:

0-1000 CRAIG = 2 % PoS
1000 - 5000 = 5% PoS
5000 - 10000 = 15% PoS
10000 - 50000 = 30% PoS
50000 - 100000 = 50% PoS
100000 + = 100% PoS

Or if this is not possible, then just increase the PoS for everyone to something like 100% PoS. You need to give people more incentives to hold the coin, especially at the rate that development is going.

thoughts?

I like the idea yet with 30,000,000 startup though, this can be a bit tricky. I like the vericoin ideology - where the more people stake, the higher the interest rate. That way 'all' get rewarded the same for holding and supporting the coin, not just big money. It's definitely a 'Catch-22' scenario, low POS ROI makes the coin that much more valuable long term while high POS ROI can create incentive to keep price more stable short term but hurt its true stability long term.

Another idea I like is similar to Sync - high POS in the beginning, then reduced in a preset time frame. That way the coin can continue to develop and reach a wider community to help it continue to thrive, all the while early investors get rewarded the most for helping keep the price stabilized during initial development.

Wow, reading up on some major scam coins of late! Just Wow!

I mean I'm so happy to see that this coin is free from the typical PND crowds on twitter.

As this coin continues to develop, yes, it will spark the interest of the PNDer's more and more. Heck, I'm sure Pavel has already had to deal with their countless offers to provide this and that "for a price"!
My guess - he's turned them down. This is his baby and I'm happy to be a part of it.

So when all you guys are worried due to the FUD, try to imagine one thing - how much money will Pavel be making just from 'ad revenue' generated from the Craigscoin website alone once this goes viral?
I'm not talking ADtx fees, just ad revenue from others wanting to have their ad banners on http://list.craigscoin.info/

Think about that for a moment...
How many other coins will have a reason for their website to have enough traffic to generate real 'ad revenue' - very few!!
With that being said - all you people who were worried that Pavel abandoned the coin because he was absent for 2-3 days need to try and grasp this concept.
He has the potential to become a very rich man once this goes viral and I hope you realize he's smart enough to have already figured this out.

So again, just think about that for second if you start getting that FUD thought in your head, lol!

I hear Glowcoin is selling for a steal right now!!  Wink
