1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacked - Need some input on: October 25, 2014, 01:01:27 PM
hello guys,
i have a case where my coins are gone and lost i think , but i like to know from others
my problem began when i sent a couple of hundred  coins from an exchange to 2 wallets
all the coins were received at the wallets but before i was able to back up or encrypt my wallets i had a power failure for couple of hours
when the power was up again i noticed to my horror that the hard disc crashed, and to make things worst file recovery shows no wallets at all besides other files not able to recover.
the coin explorer shows the coins were send from  the exchange to the wallets.
so for me it's no wallets no coins anymore, and is there a fix for this, or was i hacked without knowing.

Damn - I wish I'd have put a message in the blockchain yesterday saying something to the effect of "I've baited oox, let's see if he falls for the low hanging fruit."

In case you didn't know, you *can* do that - quit mining scam coins and learn something.

Guys keep you insults to each other  in PM.  We are here to talk about Alpha Technology  and the solution to our situation not our previous history and the reasons of our orders...

I AGREE 100%
show some respect to others, looking for information to build a solid case against alpha-t.

Give it up guys its over. We have all been swindled. There were many red flags over the months since the preordering began and we all should have seen this coming. I feel bad for anyone that actually sent them the remainder of the money. I've written this off as a total loss as paypal as usual will be useless to help.

Yes, you all probably help some terrorists Cry
I still remember the 7 July 2005 London bombings  Cry Cry Cry

Why after this Dutch website posted on 29/01/2014 this pictures, why you guy still order there?
http://www.bitcoinupdate.nl/home/alpha-technology-een-kijken-achter-en-voor-de-schermen-bij-deze-litecoin-miner-gigant

there is something funny with this link to the dutch website , where it 's posted on 29/01/2014 the T&O in this article is not the original one. and that is strange , because the first modified T&O came out in march/april if i'm correct, so i ask myself do i miss something here?
can somebody explain this.

We have secured key contacts in this industry, and hold a big advantage over any other crypto-currency company out there; this is a fact. In the near future alone, our batch 2 miners will be something special. They will be highly profitable and (bearing in mind all that we have learned through this process) we can’t see how they will not simply be the best on the market thanks to an engineering advantage which would be foolish for us to share right now

Rest Assured

two weeks passed since the 30% shares announcement was made and still there is not a single piece of information presented
to the costumers willing to take part in that famous option.
p.s.  Fiaz or Mohammed please, send me a pm if you need some legal advice.

no offense, but my point  is, keep an open mind and don't let emotions keep you distracted
in other words whatever they did or do at any forum is not relevant, are you capable of getting some or all of your money back.
that's the first question? second;  can you find them?
third; are they willing,  or can they be forced legally to pay back.
that's how i look at this case and try to help with an idea, and if it's not workable so be it.

Hi guys,

Been following you for some time now.

I have filed 2 complaints with paypal so far - no luck.
Talked to my bank about this - they said that the chance of getting any money back is pretty low as a lot of time has passed.

In the meantime i also wrote some mails to Alpha.First i got also the standard reply etc, but after my last mail in which i explained that they are in breach of contract they said they are willing to refund 50% - 70pounds from my 30% deposit.

Should i take this? It would be only 132.5 pounds from the 405 pounds deposit.

Not saying this is your intention, but this is your first post and it seems to benefit AT. They get to keep 50% of our deposits due to their negligence. If they do or don't end up selling these units, they should refund deposits to anyone who requests it. I can't imagine gifting them our money.

Yes i'm aware of how my post seems but under no circumstances i said to just let the money go. I was interested more in some opinions regarding what can i do if i accept their offer (they refund 132 pounds ) but also want the rest of my money. Are there any other means to recover the difference  because it seems that if i agree to this i would waive my right to get a full refund on my deposit

true , this is his first post and  to the benefit of alpha, but i also see that they are still willing to communicate and make some kind of a deal
good or bad from costumers point of view. point is they are still present some where , so let's try and find them with all means legally available .
@forceflow  i'm glad to hear from you again , because you have experience in lawsuits and your advice is needed here.

Conditions of order

Deposit Payments have open refunds as per the terms highlighted above.

The remaining payment to complete final assembly and shipment, will be required within 8-10 weeks of shipment date. If payment is not made in a set timely manner, we presume you no longer want the item, and will incur a majority penalty fee on your deposit refund and may be forfeited.

this is what stands in the original T&O, and besides that you can always ask for a refund based on the DSR rules

please correct me if i'm wrong.
regards

Alpha-t is ignoring my refund

« on: Today at 10:33:19 AM »
I requested a refund a month ago on payments@alpha-t.net.
I ask them if it possible to make a refund in BTC.
They say that I can recieve only 50% of my deposit and only in GBP. I accept that.
I opened a bank accout in GBP to recive that refund for my order.
On 23 of july my bank call me and say that alpha-t refund recieved in USD on my GBP accout. So I can't take that money.
My bank say that I need to open bank account in USD and alpha-t need to correct they payment to my new bank account.
The same day I ask payments@alpha-t.net to do that. But didn't recieve any answer. I'm waiting more then 13 days for any information. What's happening? Alpha-t want to stole my money or what?
Currently, until I recieve my refund in hands I'M STILL A CUSTOMER. For what reason now I'm can't post any messages in the proper forums??? (that's why I opened a topic in that section).
I REQUIRE IMMEDIATE answer for me on my e-mail AND REFUND!

P.S. Now I see my forum status - it's "visitor". Why? I'm still a customer. Refund my order and only then make me a visitor and not a customer.

I gave AT the chance to repay me several times and all I get is the same BS reply. So I have escalated my claim even more.  Small price to pay if it helps my case.

AT if you are reading this.  I implore you to do what is legally and morally right.  Refund my money!

@ VJloops  very good procedure, one question: is this route also possible for non residents of the UK if yes give a link or advice.
i like to put extra pressure on alpha besides requesting for a refund as i recently did , but time to answer did not expire yet.
so every extra method can help in case they come up with their T&O policy.

smart move derekman and keep us informed.

i've noticed fiaz has been removed from the alpha teamlist on the company website, only 3 people left.
but he's still active on their forum.

congrats for stuperior for winning the prediction  on the alpha forum, of the litecoin diff on the first of august. lucky guess , but still well done! at the same time, i take off my hat for misu for keeping his word and paid the winner his 10 ltc.
you're the MAN! and alpha can learn a lot from you.

last but not least i have a final word for stuperior ; don't call anybody names, because we are customers paying for a product
expect it, to be delivered as promissed many times but instead of that, only lies were delivered.
still waiting for the truth to arise.

Fiaz,
you can't fool all of the people all the time, so i can understand you're leaving, now more and more folks can see through the lies.
but before you go please do one last good thing;   unban everybody!
then maybe i can forget all the bad things you've done

anyone has some advice about those units and the service from the company.

Fiaz Malik is the Customer Manager as stated on the alpha website under our team
that seems to be official  i think, furthermore he is also capable to edit the post of the CEO of the company and change that information provided by the boss himself. so maybe Fiaz is the ultimate boss behind the stage.

Hi,

Sorry for the delay in making this decision, please understand it is not an easy one due to its financial nature. Contrary to popular belief we always try do what is in both our shared interests as long as we have a choice. After much consideration we have decided those who want to wait to pay by CC or want to wait for 'proof' can do so. We expect CC to be available around shipping: this does mean there is a possibility you have your Vipers shipped last; we are very sorry if this were to happen but this cannot be helped we've done everything we can it is what it is as Fiaz likes to say. To those that may feel like complaining about this all I can say is please be realistic and think practically. The proof will of course come before shipment so there is no worries on that front.

Best Regards,

Mohammed Akram
Director

maybe this made him angry, because i caught him editing this post from the CEO and after a few minutes repost it
on the alpha forum, but now signed with his own name. if possible look under announcements.
i'm not a lawyer but this looks like an illegal act
