The unusual behavior of 'Willy' - A Mt. Gox trading bot.

Do you think Mark Karpeles is behind this?

Do you think that because of the fact that Ulbricht is going to be sentenced soon, are they going for Karpeles too?

4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ulbricht To Be Sentenced On May 15th on: February 20, 2015, 02:48:56 PM
Just some few questions, what will happen to Ulbricht's Bitcoin account? Where will his millions and millions worth of BTC go?

After he was found guily on every count http://bitforum.info/t/ross-ulbricht-found-guilty-on-all-charges/223?u=angelo

Will his things be confiscated after the sentencing?

What do you think?

His BTC will be auctioned.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Third Auction For Ulbricht’s Coins, Scheduled on: February 20, 2015, 02:47:28 PM
With the auction of his bitcoin coming:
http://bitforum.info/t/third-auction-for-ulbrichts-coins-scheduled/305

Do you think, Ulbricht can easily get back his coins if he is still running Silk Road right now?

I mean if he will be released right now, and start from the scratch again, how many years will it take to reach the amount of the coins he lost?

I hope a big company will get the biggest share of this auction.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where Will Bitcoin Be In 2 Years? on: February 20, 2015, 02:46:51 PM

http://bitforum.info/t/juniper-research-predicts-where-will-bitcoin-be-in-two-years/286/1

With all the good news about Bitcoin, I am sure they're up to something good in 2 years.

Andreas thinks so too..
http://bitforum.info/t/give-bitcoin-two-years-said-andreas-antonopoulos/247

How about you? What do you think?

Maybe still fighting to survive..
Adoption still is less.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin To Pay Your Park Fines on: February 20, 2015, 02:45:33 PM
New York is at it again. Now, a member of the government is suggesting to make bitcoin a 'penalty money'.

http://bitforum.info/t/use-your-bitcoin-in-new-york-to-pay-for-parking-fines/275?u=angelo

I think it would be wise if Bitcoin can be used that way.

Imagine using bitcoin for government fines and etc.

What do you think?

Levine has a point.
Maybe that bill could be adopted and integrated in big cities around the world.

Nakamoto’s: San Francisco’s First Bitcoin Retail Store

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, How Long Will It Last? on: February 20, 2015, 02:42:02 PM
How Long Will Bitcoin Endure?

How long?
How long can it hold its price?
How long can it stand its value?
Is the end near?
Or will it just be remembered in the statue?

Bitcoin hasnt reached its full potential yet. This is just the start.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NYC Councilman Will Explain How Bitcoin Will Benefit New Yorkers on: February 20, 2015, 02:40:23 PM
Is this really needed?
http://bitforum.info/t/nyc-councilman-levine-further-explains-his-bill/293

What if this bill will be used around the world?
Will it help Bitcoin?

Wow...
We know the benefit, no need to explain.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos said Give Bitcoin Two Years on: February 20, 2015, 02:39:47 PM
Would you agree or not?

Bitcoin Only Needs Two Years

Hmmmm... I respect the guy yeah.. But I do not know where his information came from.
2 years might be a little bold.. Maybe give it 3-5 years. I am still having doubt about that.

What do you think?

And then what will happen in 2 years?
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin and Altcoin price related? on: February 20, 2015, 02:30:38 PM
Litecoin is on an upward trend, so as Bitcoin http://bit.ly/1x5QyYQ

Do you think both these coin's price trend in anyway related?

Nah..

If there were any connection, LTC should be as valuable as bitcoin right now.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Eventually Kill Facebook? on: February 20, 2015, 02:29:39 PM
Basing on this news: http://bit.ly/1yGPr3H

Synereo will be a lot to handle once it gets going. Do you think, Bitcoin could kill other social media giants like Google plus, Twitter and Facebook?
Or will Facebook finally integrates bitcoin to its platform? Smiley

What do you think?

Hmmm... until now, there's no clear impact about this and cryptocurrency as a whole.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin For Flight Tickets? on: February 20, 2015, 02:28:23 PM
Its now possible!

With this: http://bitforum.info/t/bitnet-and-uatp-partnership-will-allow-users-to-use-bitcoin-for-travel-tickets/264?u=thebitboss

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Study Says - 50% Drop In Cryptocurrency Transactions Will Happen This Year on: February 20, 2015, 02:27:28 PM
As the article said, cryptocurrency transactions will drop but Bitcoin might be holding on as a payment technology alternative.

A 50% Drop In Cryptocurrency Transactions This Year Is imminent

However, a 50% drop is as bad as it gets. In the midst of left and right financing from companies who are now considering cryptocurrency as a potential option.

Do you think this study is true? Aside from adoption, is there any possible way to help turn the tides for cryptocurrency?

I just hope another report about this with a slighty lesser percentage.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WWRD - What Will Russia Do? on: February 20, 2015, 02:25:12 PM
After I read this, What will Russia do next?

Bitcoin Regulation Hints From Alexey Moshkov

We all know that Russia and Bitcoin has a love-hate relationship.

But with this, it is still possible that Russia might be embracing Bitcoin after all.

Russia should take another look about bitcoin.
If they can, the advantages of it will take them to where they want to be.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Know About Bitcoin on: February 20, 2015, 02:22:38 PM
Well more than half of the General public doesn't!

If you read the write up:

http://bitforum.info/t/do-you-know-what-bitcoin-is-more-than-half-of-the-general-public-dont/224?u=angelo

WTF? How come bitcoin is still unknown to the common people?
Start ups after start ups have managed to raise millions and millions in funding but more than 50% of the common people doesnt know about it?

What do you think is lacking? What are bitcoin's shortcomings?

Education and Adoption.
